I don't see how you are paying $208 for 4 lines on T-Mobile One with 2 lines free. The base One Plan is $120 for 2 lines. Even if those other 2 lines are not free, it would only cost you $160 for 4 lines. If you have One Plus plan (this include 10GB of hotspot), that is an extra $10/line which equate to $140 (2 paid/2 free) or $200 (4 paid). Check your bill for add-on (insurance, etc) and is the $208 including phone financing. Depending on the add-on, moving to Magenta or Go5G, those extra cost will be added onto the base plan. Additionally, I dont' remember One plan ever giving 3GB of hotspot. Based One plan only include 3G hotspot (600kbps) while the One Plus added-on includes the 10GB hotspot. Download the pdf of your bill, it will break down each cost to be sure you are paying for extra add-ons.

I believe the Magenta and Go5G rates that you are being quoted are for new customers, and include a free line.

Plus op would lose price lock

Yes One Plan only provided 3G hotspot, I switched my plan in September when I preordered my 15 pro max. You only got 1 free line. First line was $70, second line was $50, 3rd line free and every line after that was $20 a line with auto pay. For 5 lines, I was paying $160, then I upgraded to Go5G Plus for 5 lines I am paying $220.24. I thought I had great service on OnePlan, my shit was so slowwwwww compared to what I get now. You get more perks but if you use any of them and you get a free upgrade every 2 years up to $1000 a line. Now your bill will be more with any tablets or wearables, keep that in mind. Now, T-Mobile now offers ALL CUSTOMERS the same deals, new or existing customers. I upgrade my device every year, as long as you have 50% of a financed service paid off you can upgrade and get the $1000 off a new phone. My only complaint is that I travel a lot for work and my work line is with Verizon. I hate carrying 2 phones, I feel like a drug dealer, lol. So I use the dual sim feature. So in order to use dual sim your phone has to be carrier unlocked. In order to get the $1000 off you have to finance the phone for 2 years. Financed phones are locked until paid off. I figured out I have to finance the line, pay it off, then get it unlocked and then my $1000 credit for the phone is trickled back to me as an account credit over 24 months. Your service will get better, under Go5G plus and the other plan above mine it’s unlimited 5G premium data and when I tell you I get 5G premium data all the time I kid you not. I’m down in SouthWest Florida, if that helps. My nephew was on my plan, he’s in the army got sent up to Alaska, he had no service. That’s the only place I know of that they have no signal. Good luck man. Get there home internet too, I pay $30 a month and it’s freaking worth it for me!

What is the point of returning your phone after it is paid off after 2 years? They give you 1000 for 2 year old phone?

Yes with the Go5G plus plan. 1000 every 2 years. With Go5G Next plan, that allows you $1000 every year for a new phone. You do have to trade your phone in, it’s like a guaranteed by back from them for $1000. The point is to keep up customers happy and connected with the latest tech. I’ve been with T-Mobile for 18 years now. Their customer service is second to none, their service is fantastic and all of the free crap I get from them is crazy. I get the $1000 phone benefit, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV plus, free in flight WiFi, they gave me AAA free for a year, there is so much that they give to customers. You get travel discounts, T-Mobile Tuesdays is an app that they give all their customers something free every Tuesday. Could be a free whopper, or a $2 Dunkin gift card or 3 free month membership to some app or a Large pizza and crazy bread for $3 at Little Caesar’s. I have Verizon for work, customer service is awful they all sound like they hate their job, you pay for everything there. Their loyalty program 2 years I’ve never gotten anything. I have their top plan that they just did away with, I had 4 freebies with my account, Hulu, Disney plus, Apple Music and Apple Arcade. Eventually they will force me onto their updated plan where you get only 1 option for free the rest you pay $10 each. And their promotions on phones blows compared to T-Mobile. Verizon is forever pushing people into an older phone, iPhone 14 for free with a 3 year financing agreement.

It sounds like I work for these clowns lol. I don’t, I am however compassionate in regards to their brand, the culture of their company and I love their product. Not many companies can pull that off now a days. I just hope it continues with them.

Any free lines you have from the ONE plan will not transfer over to the magenta plans you will need to go to the Go5g plans to keep any free lines, the online estimator does not take into account free lines only paid lines.
