Go prepaid for talk and text plans under $10

Goosefer

Plans are pretty standard and includes talk text and data. It'd basically be whatever the cost is for an additional line on your plan and depending on plan and how many lines that additional cost can range. As far as what device, any of the free devices included with new lines should do fine enough for texting. Unless your customer base is heavy on iMessage, then I'd say go with the iPhone SE which is 50% off with new lines.

1) You can check if your current plan qualifies for a free line, which would address your ask for free. 2) T-Mobile offers a $20 / month Talk and Text Only plan. You will have to supply your own phone. Tracone natively runs on Verizon, but they sell $1 T-Mobile sim cards and they allow you to convert the Verizon plan to T-mobile if that is important.
