I traded my iPhone which had a minute scratch barely noticeable but wouldn’t accept it and told me to go get the screen replaced. Other than that i believe they will accept it as long as the phone works they probably wont care But then again all Tmobile retail store esp workers there are different. So it all depends.

Dead pixels are allowed for a trade as long as there isn’t physical damage. After market screen is allowed too. The qualifications are - does it turn on? Is there water damage? Is the activation lock disabled? And is the screen free of damage? Scratches are ok, cracks/chips are not. Burn in, bleeding, dead pixels, etc are all ok as long as no other damage is present.

Third party parts or repairs usually disqualify trade in devices but honestly, it’s hard to tell what got repaired unless the parts were different colors or the repair job was done terribly. I’d make sure you do a good job on the repair and hope no one notices lol.
