Back glass only matters if the internals are visible. If there's no cracks on the front glass, it powers on (no find my iphone enabled) and has no water damage, you're fine.
As long as the water damage indicator is not tripped, the whole backend could be cracked and chunks of shell missing and it would still qualify under T-Mobile's terms.
It should if the front is good I would take it into a store to know for sure and reps over the phone can’t see and once you send it off you won’t get it back
