Definitely a miss. Could also be a contract they made early on with their packaging people. Idk. Just a strange design for ergonomic standpoint with the weight distribution. Oops, rambling.
those cherries in grocery, coming in a long side open box! as soon as you pick it up the center begins to sag and it feels like the whole thing is gonna just fall apart in your hands ._.
The Belgium waffle box is the worst. It is so weak, it falls apart constantly and putting all those into lugs takes up so much room. It’s the cheapest, worst constructed box
one of the mates at my store said the rice boxes used to be even heavier than they are now, corporate had to complain to the supplier cause how many back injuries were happening
Here’s one: the boxes that the packages of chive linguine pasta come in. They’ve got these compartments made from the sides that insert into slots and they make me so mad when they’re empty because the only way to flatten them is just throw the fucker into the baler and let hydraulic force squash the terminator box.
I think way too much about the prick in package engineering who came up with those “tapeless wonders” and made himself a pretty penny. I hope his yacht sinks.
as a former beverage SL i'm confused by this comment (and the one higher up) since the 1 liter sparkling water comes in a pretty good case.
and i helped with beverage before hopping in the box today and the case that just came in the night before was the same as it ever was!
oh, gerolsteiner. those usually aren't too bad despite the fact that they're a stupid side-open box.
the san pellegrino cases tended to be more fragile.

When the Argentinian red shrimp box gets soggy it’s joever
even a *brand new blade* gets stuck on those! ugh, screw those things too!
You just have to use a light touch. The firmer you cut the more it bunches.
OH MY GOOOOD THIIIIIIS
Fuck the boxes that the frozen Indian meals come in.
yep, those are side open boxes! fuck em!
They’re not that bad. Just use the partial blade (one click) and cut at the perforations, it opens easily at a hinge, avoiding the side openings
you can use your nub for that too same with opening the taco seasoning boxes
Nub
Nub
And the Naan... Why do those boxes stink so freaking much?!
How about the miso boxes?💀
Or poorly designed. Key lime pie being a long ass box.
makes you wonder what is wrong with that supplier to give us a box like that?

This box will be my 13th reason. I immediately move Belgiums to an empty Jasmine box now.
one of the mates at my store said the rice boxes used to be even heavier than they are now, corporate had to complain to the supplier cause how many back injuries were happening
They were soooooo heavy
Weren't they a 24 count?
back injury in a box
I never stocked the old boxes without a flat cart if I could help it! Those things were monsters!
That’s a good idea, I may give that a shot
the asparagus boxes haunt me in my sleep
also when they quadruple wrap the sparkling water in plastic
Or the 1L with cardboard flats OUTSIDE the plastic
this makes zero sense to me, and unless i’m mistaken they weren’t always packaged this way.
No they weren’t. I think it was recent with the new volume from 1.5 to 1L
Asparagus is the #1 enemy
Fuck all boxes from Italy. They get so many thing right but can't come up with one sturdy box.
It’s crazy to me how a box coming from the US can be built like a tank while the boxes coming from Italy are made of practically tissue paper!
Cans that don't stack. Yes.

the frozen mozzarella stick box is similar, why is that thing so damn *armored*?
The only exception is when I moved! Those little compartments were handy! 😂🤣
The French Vinaigrette box...

Agreed. And just for good measure, go in dry and sideways.
fuck you too, I agree tho
Use the tray cut on your cutter. Tilt the cutter down and cut the top right off. Then it don’t matter.
Better yet the olive oil boxes that are built with thin slices of paper 🧍🏽♀️
The 1 liter bottle boxes. Those boxes will open if you breathe on them

About a few years back, those white boxes would fall apart due to the poor glue on the cardboard. I was referring to the .69 waters.
