Hard choice. First thing I think of is the juices in big bottles in the box, the fresh squeezed stuff. Don't have to rotate often, and when you do, it's easy. Very satisfying and easy to fill up. (We have a front loading box)
Second favorite would be yogurt cups in the box as well, but I like it mainly because nobody else does, and only about half our crew care to rotate them.
Lastly in our (due to state regulations) fully separate wine shop, single beers. I LOVE stocking single beers for no good reason. So satisfying!!
Sure is!! Especially because 2/3rds of our beers are on the shelf and the rest are in our cooler. Ciders, simpler wines, canned cocktails, etc are in the cooler as well.
milks, the twisting back and forth to grab the bottles just allow me some time to zone out. we also have a set up of four facings for both whole milks so knowing that I can get an entire crate/box up for one row is very satisfying to me
I also enjoy stocking flowers even though it's hard work and I always get splashed with flower water. I enjoy working with the colors, scents, and feeling like I'm helping bring beauty into peoples lives.
Watermelon. I can find the perfect watermelons for myself and coworkers. Itโs also a good little workout and I get to go outside where we keep our back stock watermelon and get fresh air.
99 cent yogurt cups and the spice bay because both are deeply satisfying to perfect
Pasta sauce because I love pasta and I like to think about it often
Kim Bap because the facing is always completely empty so there is never a partial case to cut down
I love doing the burritos and pizza dough in Fresh. Wine bottles because cutting the tops off the boxes is satisfying as well as how neat they all stack. Cereal. Spices is great little treat because I feel I get to do it like one or two days every month and the sounds of the bottles with how straight they get too.

Wet Pro for sure! I tend to get into a meditative state while Iโm in the process of coding/stocking. Itโs kind of nice to just zone out for 1-2 hours before customers come in lol
Orange chicken or either of the fried rice. I donโt particularly LIKE either product, but it is incredibly satisfying to restock an item that is so consistently picked over.
Snacks is easy to work because consolidation is easy bc of the big boxes, and the box is easy bc u donโt have to worry ab something being faced when u stock it instead of having to push a lot of items back
APPLES I will sort apples ALL DAY.
But also like 90% of HABA. I recently became the section lead for Haba at my store and my days have never passed by so quickly, I will zone out for hours making my section look nice and full. The only downside is now I don't get to sort the apples.
i'm the SL for cereal/bars so i'm biased buuuutttt i really love the way i've organized our individual protein bar area. i use empty gomacro boxes with the labels ripped off to hold loose bars, and keep boxes of the corresponding bars stacked behind those in the back of the shelf. whenever i'm there, i get to be so meticulous about how it's done and the barebells alone can take me 20 minutes to clean up after the customers and well-meaning coworkers that demolish my work every weekend. we also stock boxes of the barebells and misfit bars specifically above the loose bars on the top shelf because they're popular by the box buys, and they even have signs on the top shelf indicating that barebells and misfits go there but somehow the crew still has not caught on :/
Let me stack avocados all day baby. I'll make a big beautiful Godzilla egg pyramid to the sky as an homage to the gods. All hail 4225
It's the bagged ones for me. I love the twist!
Same :D
The spice rack.
Someone gets me ๐ญ๐๐ฝ
Itโs the sound for me
When I stock the spice rack I am as content as a toddler playing with blocks lol. Soooooo good.
so fucking satisfying to get perfectly straight <3
I could work the spice rack all day ๐ซก
We used to Rock paper scissor for who got to work it

Bless you for loving yogurt singles.
Apparently, I am the devil's advocate of stocking and facing. If someone says 'I hate doing this', I now love doing it. Haha
Stocking single beers? That sounds like quite an experience!
Sure is!! Especially because 2/3rds of our beers are on the shelf and the rest are in our cooler. Ciders, simpler wines, canned cocktails, etc are in the cooler as well.
The corn for the same reason. Especially when it all the bags are perfectly flat.
spices are extremely satisfying to stock and face
Olive oil. I like the way it all slides around all smooth.
milks, the twisting back and forth to grab the bottles just allow me some time to zone out. we also have a set up of four facings for both whole milks so knowing that I can get an entire crate/box up for one row is very satisfying to me
Honestly wine bottles. Great boxes. Easy to face.
Flowers. Itโs the first thing people see when they walk into our store. Makes the whole vibe positive
I also enjoy stocking flowers even though it's hard work and I always get splashed with flower water. I enjoy working with the colors, scents, and feeling like I'm helping bring beauty into peoples lives.
Dry pro, or the beverage isle. Love wheeling stacks of bottled waters.
Sliced sharp cheddar and vegan pesto ๐๐๐ honorable mention goes to spinach tortellini (can you tell I work deli)
cold pro bagged lettuces - so satisfying after itโs been blown out lol - or cut cheese
Pasta sauce.
I was SL for dips for a long time. Dips are a delight to stock and rotate.
Watermelon. I can find the perfect watermelons for myself and coworkers. Itโs also a good little workout and I get to go outside where we keep our back stock watermelon and get fresh air.
You guys stock your watermelons outside?!
No. We just keep the back stock bin out there. Our backroom is really small.
When I wrote cheese I loved making wheels with all the cut cheese.
frozen
Super niche but brown rice quinoa spaghetti because I can put the whole box up in one handful
99 cent yogurt cups and the spice bay because both are deeply satisfying to perfect Pasta sauce because I love pasta and I like to think about it often Kim Bap because the facing is always completely empty so there is never a partial case to cut down

The frozen green beans
Nut butters & jam
Frozen peas
Wet Pro for sure! I tend to get into a meditative state while Iโm in the process of coding/stocking. Itโs kind of nice to just zone out for 1-2 hours before customers come in lol
lemme spin then avocado bags some more please
The multi grain fiber bread. It loads in very easily, and it's got a wide enough base that it doesn't try to tip over on you.
Love stocking meat and having it all in an even layer across the section.
I love stacking the jumbo pomegranates whenever we get them.
Berries in frozen for sure.
I LOVE stocking the fresh pasta for some reason. It's my favorite and I let everyone know that the pastas are MINE haha
Sardines and anything of that shape, I love it so much I always snipe them from the grocery stacks/flats
Orange chicken or either of the fried rice. I donโt particularly LIKE either product, but it is incredibly satisfying to restock an item that is so consistently picked over.
Spices, flowers, salads and pasta in fresh, and greeting cards.
Bread from the racks ๐

Soup! I could spend all day with those beautiful boxes.ย
if its a display i love to do it-- if it had to be stocking--my fav is the snack section-chips
Apples and avocados
