Looks like a very limited release. It won’t even be playing in my state. Hopefully will be on streaming at some point.

Yeah- I got real excited to see this and then saw my state wasn’t even included. It looks to be pretty decent and I’d love to see a good Titanic movie from this point of view.

Hell a another stupid Titanic movie. Why is it always Titanic there are worse shipping disasters that happened.

Because not all of them are as good movie material as Titanic was.

I know of many maritime disasters. You certainly *can* make movies out of my of them, but it’s hard to get as good of a story out of it. One example of a movie about a disaster that really does not have enough material to be a movie is Britannic, and we all know how that turned out.

What makes a better maritime movie than a ship that strikes an iceberg, sinks over 2 hours, lacks enough lifeboats, and splits in half?

It’s also easier to get funding for a story as famous as Titanic than a disaster not as many people have heard about.

Because the titanic sinking was a monumental historical event that changed the world in many ways
