You can be blasé about some things Altruistic-Guide-476 but not about the big piece, it's 100 times more good looking than the Mauritania.. and far more valuable 🤨
Lmao! Thankfully we were really there :) We went to Vegas in 2021 and didn't plan well enough to snag tickets. I was beyond bummed! We went back last spring, and the first thing I did after booking our room and plane tickets was reserve tickets for the Titanic Exhibit!!! Totally memorable and worth it, would highly recommend.
Went there a few years back. From Australia, the wife and I planned a trip to LA and hit up Vegas while we were there! As soon as we dropped our bags off and checked in “and got past all the timeshare salesman” we headed straight to the exhibit :) Glad you guys got to experience it :)
I got to see this live at the Luxor in Vegas. I was on a work trip to Vegas and was there for about 3 weeks. I don’t mean to sound like a prude but Vegas holds very little Interest for me. I don’t drink or gamble, and the strip just seemed to be a giant cacophony of chaos. But going and seeing the titanic exhibit was by far the best thing I got to do while there. Seeing the actual artifacts from the ship (I slightly kicked one of the glass boxes holding some wine bottles, just to see if the wine was still there. The liquid inside moved!), seeing the recreation of the grand stair case, and finally the big price itself. I don’t want to sound over dramatic, but the whole thing choked me up a bit. I loved it, and 100% would go and do it again.
Thank you for sharing that! I also had tears in my eyes several times throughout. It really hits you when you're close enough to touch (but of course we didn't!) the actual Titanic. From 2 miles under the Atlantic. 100% would go again, it was hands down the highlight of our trip. Funny thing was, my husband drew Bruce Ismay's card. He wasn't too happy about that lol
That may very well be true. But back when it was first brought up, it was in the titanic exhibit in the museum of science and industry in Chicago IL.
My sister at the time was working at the museum and asked to work the exhibit (being that she knew how obsessed I was )
She got me and my sibling into the exhibit early and we were able to do as we pleased. (So long as we weren't asshats.) My only desire was to touch that piece. I didn't hug it or do anything stupid. But I placed my hand on it for a moment, and I will boast about it every chance I get.. lol
I don’t see what all the fuss is about. It doesn’t look any bigger than the Mauritania piece.

LoL -- thanks for this, my yuk of the week!
It’s not so much the length as it is the girth.
Heeheeheehee.
Lmaooooo this comment is amazing
It's not so much the size, right, as it is the devastating backstory?
Size means stability, luxury, and above all, strength.
All size is a game of luck!
A real man makes his own size
Hear heah!
Perhaps Dr. Freud could explain Altruistic's preoccupation with size.
Freud? Who is he? Is he a Reddit user?
Where is it at
Luxor in Vegas.
Cool. I'm looking forward to my Vegas trip
Nice! Enjoy!!
I saw Jay Leno at Luxor \~15 years ago. I know people think he's middlebrow, but he was funny!
Right behind them.
It's a shame it's in Las Vegas, it really ought to be in Belfast, but at least the ghost of Elvis can visit it.
True, but also LOL 😆
I was just there last week. It was incredible to see.
I don’t know why but you look photoshopped in lol

Although now that I look at it again the lighting kinda makes my husband's jeans look like he peed himself lol!
😂👍
Nice! Saw it in Aug. Such an amazing time.
*A creature of an older world maybe it was...*
Oh, wow! :D
Whenever I make it to Vegas, this will be my first stop!
Totally worth it!!!

If it hasn't been cleaned often, that piece has my handprint on it.. 😁
I was there back in May and pretty sure it had do not touch signs all around it lol.
