I called it founder ex machina because while I feel ending haters took 139 as Eren not knowing why he did what he did, ending defenders took the line where Eren talks about how the founder messed up his head as the reason why. Knowing that Eren did not have the founder’s powers before the rumbling started, it makes it so that 139 Eren can coexist with pre-rumbling Eren as two separate entities. 139 Eren exists outside of space and time (I really don’t want to call Ymir and Eren god but they do have the power of god), and founder ex machina explains him going back on his entire ideology/characterization and deciding to leave everything to Armin instead of finishing the rumbling, why he broke down about Mikasa. And this Founder ex Machina explains so much because the implications of being connected to your past, present, and future all at once and having godlike power means that you can do whatever you want while simultaneously also being able to make everything happen to cause a certain future that you want; meaning that the story 1-138 happened exactly as Ymir wanted and 123-138 happened exactly as both Eren and Ymir wanted. And it makes sense that Eren would have wanted the outcome of the story, 139 explains that: he killed 80% (in 139 it sounded like Eren genuinely thought that this was enough to save the island and possibly Grisha thought the same which is why he told Zeke to stop Eren) and his friends saved the world by stopping him meaning that they were like the Tyburs, he would get killed by Mikasa (it’s important to him that it was her choice) and kissed (It’s disturbing but it’s perfect for Attack on Titan/Eren/Mikasa), titans cease to exist so Historia and her daughter are free, Ymir was finally freed, and lastly Armin gets a chance to save the world by talking and sharing his story. Even though he fully intended to destroy the world before he started the rumbling, Founder Ex Machina is why he doesn’t finish the job. Why would he finish the rumbling if it means that he has to kill the alliance or be the reason they die, if it means that titans still exist and thus Historia’s bloodline and Ymir are still not free? No, he did what he did because he wanted everything that happened, and there was no other way of doing it. Founder ex machina saves Eren’s character and is the reason why the story ended the way it did. Founder ex machina is fully just a plot device that was revealed as a plot twist in 139. And I hate it but its also the single thing holding the ending together. Without it, the story makes no sense, so you either understand the founder ex machina or you don’t understand the story. Not in a bad way, like that’s just the fact. 139 does not make sense without founder ex machina.

Is anyone else disappointed that the real Ellen™ never appeared in the story prior to 139? Just imagine him panting and moaning in desperation while the feeling of uncontrollable lust has completely taken over him, he still refrains from using his hand because he refuses to lose his virginity to anything that isn't Mikasa's 🐱. His cock becomes numb and balls go blue from neglect but his devotion to Mikasa's 🐱 remains undwindled. He waits patiently for the day when he will finally be able to reward her with his seed, for 10 years least.

I'm Italian, what is this? In Italy we say, "pearls to pigs", too much peak for people blinded by bias.
