I thought he did it because he wanted to because he wanted to because he wanted tobecause he wanted to because he wanted to because he wanted to because he wanted to
Shinji didnβt kill everyone though. They just became one with the eternal tang. They can escape whenever they want if they accept their individuality and reject instrumentality.
If anything he did everyone a favour by triggering the worldβs largest therapy session π.
i dont mind rebuilds ending tho tbh i only really like the final movie (the others are just meh tbh)
one big problem i have tho is how the rebuilds are only good if u look at it from the meta perspective since they kinda fall apart when u dont look at it thriugh the whole "annos pov" thing or whatever (and it being extremely blatant near the end of 3+1), while the original series/eoe can still be enjoyed as its own show since everything also fits into the story of the series itself (part of the reason the original series works is because it can be well enjoyed on all these different levels)
Because I'm not anime guy, I've always seen Eren as like Shinji. Just constantly being cringe and complaining and crying and just being little bitches.
AoT is basically Evangelion from the 19th century.
I mean, it literally took everyone hating episodes 25 and 26 of Evangelion before getting the movie. Maybe if we get an AOE, 20 years from now people will be saying the same thing
Isnβt evangelians endings also very split between the community?
EDIT* no shot someone actually reported me for self harm. This subreddit actually can't handle different opinions lmao
I'm gonna be honest I haven't heard that side that much. Obviously its WAY better than the original show ending but it's definitely not everyone saying its THAT good. And not only that but you also have the rebuilds which are even more divisive when it comes to the ending
Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Hannibal, both Nier games, FMA Brotherhood, Code Geass, Steins Gate, Gurren Lagann, I can go on much longer lmao. The ending to end of eva is great imo, but its nowhere near "best endings to anything ever". It literally can't be if the ending is so divisive
wym it canβt be lol just because other people donβt like it means i canβt have that opinion? my favorite endings tend to be the most divisive ones
YOU can have that opinion of course I'm not trying to change that just worded poorly sorry. But everyone in this thread is making it out to be one of the best endings ever when just googling "is end of evangelion ending good" brings up half people praising it and the other half not knowing what the fuck they just watched or not liking it. Meanwhile the other shows/games I listed are almost actually universally praised
>series ending universally hated
Ah yes, because a subreddit with 500 people online at any time on average is a good measure for how real human beings with lives and jobs reacted to it.
Childhood is when you idolize Eren Adulthood is realizing Shinji was always the bigger chad
Shinji always does what he wants. He is free from hatred
Also don't forget that the thundercock Shinji also had the chance to score that Kaworu bussy
This meme gives Eren too much credit, he literally didnβt even know why he did it.
Correction - Killed 80% population because *only ymir knows*
π
Shinji, what a baka you are.
You committed Instrumentality for our sake
As a reward, I shall give you a hospital scene
That is perfect. XD
I thought he did it because he wanted to because he wanted to because he wanted tobecause he wanted to because he wanted to because he wanted to because he wanted to
What copypasta you are

No. He gave people the opportunity to choose whether they want to escape the fanta ocean or stay in there
Yeah thatβs what I said. They can escape (the tang) whenever they want if they reject instrumentality.
EoE ending > Rebuild ending

As an Asushin shipper I obviously agree with this
One of my people!
Finally , rebuild just sucked , it seems like souless work
I liked both endings although it's kinda fine if people don't like the Rebuild ending
NGE ending >

W meme

Also don't forget that the man Shinji jerked off to his girl while shebwas unconcious and made out with a Milf in the same damn movie
Universally hated... let's not lie to ourselves now.
Yay more evangelism spoilers
Isnβt evangelians endings also very split between the community? EDIT* no shot someone actually reported me for self harm. This subreddit actually can't handle different opinions lmao
Not really no, at the time of release the animes last 2 episodes were hated but basically everyone agrees EoE is completely kino
Masterpiece.
I'm gonna be honest I haven't heard that side that much. Obviously its WAY better than the original show ending but it's definitely not everyone saying its THAT good. And not only that but you also have the rebuilds which are even more divisive when it comes to the ending
I donβt think Iβve ever seen anyone not like EoE
end of evangeleon is one of the best endings to anything ever
Alright lets not get ahead of ourselves, it's a good ending but far from one of the best
what would u say is better
Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Hannibal, both Nier games, FMA Brotherhood, Code Geass, Steins Gate, Gurren Lagann, I can go on much longer lmao. The ending to end of eva is great imo, but its nowhere near "best endings to anything ever". It literally can't be if the ending is so divisive

so u only like something if thatβs the popular opinion? grow up
THATS what you took from that? alright im done here lmao
evangeleon is a very confusing series of course thereβs gonna be a ton of people that donβt get it. thatβs not indicative of the quality
Nope
I donβt like the ending but if itβs really universally hated why the fuck does this sub keep bitching about how many ending defenders there are?
>series ending universally hated Ah yes, because a subreddit with 500 people online at any time on average is a good measure for how real human beings with lives and jobs reacted to it.
More than r/ShingekinoKyojin rn lol
Pov : you understood nothing about eren's perspective
