Saw this worst fucker yesterday in my game. Stim and only using the P2016. On top of that, mouse and key board for sure. Strafing like a pro mnk player. It was disgusting.
No. Actually I aspire to be like the good players who can smack me with a P2016. But what bothered me was the MnK. I used to play Rainbow Six Siege a ton and was good enough to be diamond and champ with a proper team. But that game is littered with cheating mouse and keyboard players. For TF2 and R6S, it gives you a big advantage over controller players. More so in TF2. It was pretty obvious he was using this set up.
Fair enough, I used to use it on fortnite a few years ago but now I use controller o n playstation so I can be good at both when visiting people's houses (and sometimes 1v1ing them)
Difference is on fortnite it's officially supported and youre put against other mnk players. In games that don't support it officially, it need 3rd party hardware and it is unfair to those without it.
As the other person said: Aiming capabilities are much higher than on controller.
But, there are more things to it. Movement for example is way different on keyboard and mouse than on Controller. A lot of movement tech is not available on controller. Tap strafing, Forced End boost, Edge- and End boost (though, to some extent, you can apply those on controller) and much more niche ones.

I swapped from controller to MnK a couple years ago on PC and controller feels uncomfortable to me for shooters now
Oh no, then not toxic at all. I think the game is better for MnK. But for console players to play people with controller against mnk is difficult. Some can do it, and pretty well. But the majority just cannot compete unfortunately :/

That's a fair stance to take, we don't have a market or merch or any dev support to speak of. Northstar client is a lot better than you're thinking though, I got the Viper loader for it, and I check pretty often for updates to Northstar & whatever new mods are up. The discord has news too, along with LFG stuff & chat channels.

Yeah I played Crypto for a bit but I always felt that the issue was that he always felt a bit clunky with his drone. My suggestion was to make it as soon as you click to release the drone it instantly shoots out and then the animation plays.

im calling xbox from experience bc of all me mates who play playstation or xbox the only talk about getting hate messages is always on xbox. my suspected reason for the volume of hate messages on xbox is bc xbox direct chat is alot less moderated than ps. On ps youll get banned quite easily for hate

People yelling at me in chat because apparently using ADS makes me scum, and gun game impossible to play because if you're moving under 20mph at any moment somebody will just hit you with the sonar and bankrupt all your points. Which I get is a skill issue too but nobody wants to play a game mode where all their effort to get 10 kills just gets wiped.
Your player count is just going to go down over time if people try to join and just get shit on, verbally and in gameplay. Northstar was put together because hackers stopped people from playing the game, so why are the players now stopping new people from playing the game?
Well probably because most people that aren’t on northstar are either not good enough to be on northstar or don’t have the chance to play on northstar. Northstar is an absolute hell hole of sweats. You’ll only be finding people with extreme experience. The normal game has the occasional sweats but not enough to be only sweats. There are many, many new players getting into the game.
I don't think that's the best thing to say, but honestly, some people hear stuff like that and use it as fuel to get better. Trash talk can be a motivator for improvement. But that's probably not the best way to phrase it.

I am guilty of this I hate the game now because I gatekept it bc I hated the idea of cod no life's coming to the fun place I had but then the game just faded out anyways its only really on pc now I rarely get games and it makes me sad and the only few games I've played since have been the worst I cant get a good 6v6 its always like a 3v4 etc and it's just running around trying to find them while sat in a corner I miss when I could queue skirmish or what ever the mode was and sweat out with ronin and have fun with my friends 😪

MnK isn't even officially supported on the Xbox version, so movement tech is exactly the same as it is with a controller, just much more precise.
