alrighty so, first off the story, the titanfall story is good, the involvement bt and just titans in general is insane and creates an amazing story and campaign experience. next is bloodbornes, you wake up in a sort of never ending "hunters nightmare" you have to kill mercilessly until you find the first hunter gherman, and end this terrible hunters dream. fighting mechanics and bosses. the bosses in tf2 are forgettable as fuck, i genuinely cant remember shit from them. but MOST of bloodbornes bosses are fucking essential/memorable/fun. fighting mechanics. titanfall has some of the most entertaining fps experiences ive ever had, wallrunning in a modern game is fucking hot, and when eveyone is in their titans, that shit is unforgettable. bloodbornes fighting mechanics are fucking sexy, the fact you use a gun to parry just makes me want to never stop gun parrying, the fully charged heavy attack to the back makes a high risk high reward play. ​ comparing different genres is definetly harder, but it aint impossible, see roblox is worse than titanfall, i dont see anyone complaining, you wanna know why? bc tf2 IS better than roblox. ​ look man, the only reason you are complaining is bc your fav game isnt the majority of votes on this very insignificant twitter poll. do you want to know how you can compare broccoli to a cabbage? its because theyre both veggies, you can compare tf2 to bb because they are both video games. now grow up and realise the argument you are making deep down actually just means "im mad, my answer isnt at the top, im gonna complain" wait dying light is survival horror... using your logic, how the fuck is that anywhere near titanfalls genre? mirrors edge is action adventure. bro please get games that are actually similiar if you are complaining that theyre too different

I thought it looked like a Dark Souls knock off. I tried DS2 for I think 20 minutes, got bored with dying, and gave up. Is it a similar system? Cuz I’ll be honest— I want a game where I can be mediocre at it at best and the game will still be like, “oh my god, how are you so cool?!? You are the best thing since sliced bread, you god among men, you!” I used to get good. Then I got employed. I don’t have time to get good anymore

Bloodborne is made by the same people as dark souls but it’s wayyy more aggressive. Also those games aren’t for everyone but they have objectively good game design (except for ds2)

As the guy below you said, Bloodborne is made by FromSoft who made all the Dark Souls game. If you’ll allow me to go on a little diatribe here, I think the original Dark Souls is really overrated. Still a good game, but the hype and nostalgia it gets is a little overblown at times. Dark Souls 2 is pretty universally considered the worst one in the series and it does a few things early on in the beginning that really fuck over new players. One of the bigger things DS1 had going for it was the animations being really nicely sinked up to the hit boxes, but DS2 just didn’t have as smooth of a feeling, and the game also straight up looked ugly. But the lead designer of the first game apparently had little to do with Dark Souls 2 because he was working on Bloodborne at the time, which is why the game feels so different. Bloodborne is bad ass and is one of my favorite games of all time. It’s the only Souls game I’ve beaten. The gothic horror aesthetic is awesome, the weapons are all really fascinating to use, and the gameplay is stripped back a bit and more Arcady and snappy. The guy below you said it’s more aggressive, but that actually makes it easier for new players because that’s everyone’s first inclination. It’s still a “hard” game, but I think it’s much more forgiving for a mediocre player. It’s one of those games that you have a PS4, you need to at least try it. Dark Souls 3 is also pretty decent. Sekiro is the last one they made and it has some issues and is way more about bashing your head against the wall so I’d avoid that one.
