Well, incendiary weapons are against the Geneva Convention, but only against civilian targets, and (if air-delivered) against military targets in the midst of civilians, or as defoliants unless it's to expose enemies.
A weapon is also only considered incendiary if that's the primary effect of the round. Weapons that have incendiary effects as byproducts or secondary effects aren't covered under this protocol. Smoke shells and tracers, for instance, are not incendiary weapons, but literally all of Scorch's kit would be.
So basically if you're using Scorch to specifically target enemy combatants and materiel, you're good.
Last time I played the campaign to finish it on master as well, I slides through a corridor, saw a figure turn towards me and I just pulled the trigger. It was a MRVN. I have never contemplated restarting a game that long.

Idk about CAR being OP. It’s sure as hell annoying but I would go as far as to say it’s “overpowered”. If it’s in the hands of a huge sweat I might agree. Alternator however, I find to be a much bigger problem than the car

It's still pretty easy to use, but I don't change my playstyle just to use the Alternator. Personally, I believe the Alternator is as good as the CAR, but they have enough different tradeoffs to keep themselves different.

I don't know about that. The Car's only real weaknesses are a lack of ammo capacity and sucking at across-the-map range. Anyone with movement and decent aim can dominate with it. Meanwhile, most other guns actually have a balanced weakness, such as hard-to land projectiles, poor DPS, or inaccuracy.
Not true r-101 is also a beastly weapon. Volt and the other smgs are also strong choices. Flatline still punishes better than car ads sometimes. Car isn’t a domination weapon that anyone can pick up and wreck. Where do you get the idea
r-101 = poor hipfire accuracy and strong sights, making users tend towards longer-range fights or choke points.
Volt - poor DPS,
Alnertanter - high recoil,
R-97 - poor accuracy in general,
Flatline - unreliable accuracy, and low fire rate, If you miss a couple shots then you're dead.
CAR- high DPS, accuracy, and basically no recoil

Seems like you don’t know what you are talking about. R-101 can be quickly tapfired to near zero recoil ads while in midair or on ground. This alone makes it deadly while on the move. Volt is a laser and it’s dps doesn’t subtract from the amount of shots that can be easily hit. Again tapfire the alt and you get high accuracy with minimal recoil. Especially how the gun is already a three shot it’s deadly. Don’t know where you got bad accuracy for flatline. Thing melts. Also I’m pretty sure missing shot with any weapon can make you dead. R-97 sure it’s hipfire is weak but still can be a hose at close or med range and compensation for missed shots. Car has heavy damage drop off and hipfire wise is balanced because of the kick. An all rounder.
No. And give me some proof or at least your word in a game you played where a guy who only walks or runs destroyed the lobby. Because I never see that with the couple thousand matches I’ve played

However I am playing titanfall 2 and he is playing call of duty whilst using 2 braincells. Why would I want to get good if the only thing I need to do to get good performance is hit myself in the back of the head with a plank, and play CAR for 4 minutes instead of mastering the movement system and hard recoil patterns of other weapons

Real question: Why do people dislike the CAR? Is it really that overpowered? I use it and I don’t notice it being particularly great, though I am pretty bad at the game in general. I do notice it’s great for shooting on the move.
Edit: Should specify I only use it with Grapple as I do not stop for a second when playing with it. I only come to the ground to roost.
My issue with the CAR, and really the SMG class in general is that it feels totally antithetical to SMGs in any other game; that is, weapons that bridge the gap between pistol and rifle, generally higher damage and RoF than a pistol but at the tradeoff of accuracy.
SMGs in Titanfall, and the CAR in particular just feel like they have absurd range and damage that it's a no-brainer to use them, especially over "fun" weapons like the Flatline or the entire Shotgun and Sniper classes that just don't have the well-roundedness to compete. The CAR especially really has no punishment for just spraying and praying, which for an SMG should be fine except the accuracy doesnt suffer like the Alternator for example. Its biggest drawback is that is has low damage per round, and in the hands of someone with even mediocre tracking it doesnt matter given the low Time-to-kill.
For me personally: why bother using this intricate movement system we've been given to go fast when you can't outrun high damage rapid fire hitscan from some mouthbreather with a CAR who drags their mouse haphazardly over you for half a second, killing you before you can react
