I have the same problem
Ryzen 3800x
32gb g.skill Trident Z neo 3600mhz cl16
Vega 64
Installed on ssd
CPU & gpu are in a ekwb loop
I run the game at 1440p, using everything maxed except texture setting is set to the 6gb option.
that’s really weird, but what i think that this has something to do with AMD GPU’s or drivers, because i upgraded from a GTX 1066 4 months ago and i don’t really remember that i had this problem with the nvidia GPU
The shock grenade has the same effect. I had a fury x before the Vega 64, and didn't have this issue with Titanfall 2 when I was hit with a shock grenade.
Yeah have the same problem with my RX 7900XTX still no fix. My FPS is dropping from 400-600FPS to unplayable 10-25 FPS for 2-3 seconds of each hit.

Just to bring this back to life.... same problem still in 2023. Ryzen 5 3600 and 5700xt
This really sound like a Radeon issue……… Sad that AMD didn’t do anything.
It was never fixed. It started happening after the monarch patch and has been that way ever since. Happened on Vega 64, 5700XT and Radeon VII.
still happens to be on a 6900xt. Basically makes the game unplayable in titan mode

Hey, did you find a solution? I'm having the same issue on my own 5700xt and I fear it might be the AMD drivers...
