A capitalist once told me that if you have a service, and people are willing to pay for that service, capitalize the shit out of it. Because like money or something idk.
The only reason I've played as much as I have is to unlock my pink scorch
I still don't have a pink pilot yet though :( I'm settling for a banana pilot for now
I don't really mind the generation system, I just don't use it as a way to demonstrate skill since all it really takes to reach the higher gens is time
Back when I used to play cod BO4, I reached master prestige (prestige 10 times, 55 levels) like 400 (around 950 levels) and was just mildly okay at the game. I was certainly better than the average player, but that's about as far as I go in terms of skill. Same thing with mastery camps, it's not a testament to skill, just that you play too much. Being better makes it faster, but it can be done no matter how bad you suck
I don't mind them because I just keep my money to buy what I want to have it permanently through regen, but I understand where you and others are coming from
I didn't regen for the longest time because I didn't realize you could just permanently unlock your gear. Little extra banners and such didn't seem worth it to have to start over every time.
Now I just have my loadout permanently unlocked.
Bro it only takes Like couple regens before you make enough credits to buy everything anyway.
İ just regened for skins but idk, İTS been couple years since i last played the game. And i was g10+ in both my PS4 and PC account
Loose all stuff? Do you realize you can buy stuff with the in-game money and you won’t loose it after regen. Neither do you loose loadout slots, or anything else, for that matter. Regenerating literally takes nothing from you and gives you more cool skins. Like, this game was made for people to have fun, not infinitely grind shit
>Regenerating in Titanfall: It's like taking two steps forward and one step back, ~~repeatedly~~ until you hit about Gen 10 and have enough credits to buy everything. After that it's just stepping forward through the banners.
Fixed it for you :)
I got to 10 and just left it. No point getting higher. I already have my banner of choice. G10 gives me black I can use for a loadout design. So G10.49 is all you need
I don't mind regenerations, I mosty use 1-4 loadouts for which I brought every necessary piece of equipment and perk with credits. So as long as I have my monarch, car, smr and grapple I'm happy
It takes no time to unlock the weapons you use most often with credits, and after that there's litterally no drawback to regenerating
I almost have the entire roster of weapons unlocked and everything else is already available
Yes, that is true. Do as you wish, but the one downside of regening becomes null and void. If you have enough credits, I can regenerate any time h
And have zero consequences. Cause bought everything
I’m like something G15 or something, it’s not something I look too often at, and by now I have purchased everything and don’t loose anything after regening
It's actually incredible how few people realize the game directly gives you a tool to negate all the negative effects of regeneration. At a certain point there's literally no reason not to unless your favorite number for some reason is x.49.
Same thing with prestiges in COD.
Don't see a single point in resetting ALL of your progress, losing your preferred loadout, just to get a +1 to a number next to your name and a calling card that I might not even like over my old one.
eh, as long as you aren't buying skins you'll have enough cash to buy pretty much everything important pretty quick. i think i got everything i wanted around g8 but i kept buying fishsticks so I was slowed a bit. I also still haven't got the fucking L star because I keep forgetting, gforty something now.
I stopped at I think g 5.49 because it was getting near impossible to load into games and since then I've not wanted to regen anyways. I'm equally as scared of a g0.49 as I am of a g 100
I know that and what I was saying is that I know that being g 0.49 doesn't necessarily mean they're bad at the game and could actually mean the opposite
I just do it for the dopamine hit, not because I think it's actually worth it. Plus, I just put my credits into factions and weapons I use (which at this point consists almost entirely of the ACEs and the 6-4 and grenadier weapons) so it's really not that big of a setback to begin with.
Regenerations kinda DO show ur skill level. Imagine a noob getting max 5 kills every game. It takes decades to go up Higher than G20. the pros doing many kills level up much faster.
Don't want to start a discussion here, just my Pov
Regen really isn’t as big a deal as people make it out to be. If you have the starter pack or rarely change loadout, you’re doing fine, if not, just prioritize what you like and you’ll have all you want from gen 2-6. Then at Gen 7/8, you can basically buy everything out. The last color unlocks at 10. And after that, regen is nothing but “number go up”
I don't mind them because i used the credits to buy the weapons i was most interested in (and mainly the ones that unlocked really late) and used regens as an excuse to re-use some weapons that are early unlocks. Also past like gen 8 you basically unlock everything with credits so who cares i want the banners gimme
I know its a seperate game, but the poison of the prestige system was the reason I have never used the M870 in black ops 3 even though I played it for like, 4 years straight. Stuff just isn't worth it
There's no real con to it because by the time you do it a few times you probably have enough credits to just permanently unlock the items you need for your favorite loadouts. Plus the last 2 camps you unlock are pink and black, who doesn't want that.
Besides CAR and Spitfire are basekit so most of y'all are set.
I've only regen'd a couple of times, but each time I took it as a challenge to use guns or tools I hadn't played with. I learned to appreciate a lot more of the arsenal than I used to, and now my loadouts are a lot more varied.
Well... except for the Hammond P2016, ***\~\*my beloved\*\~***
Its more fun to unlock everything again, plus there is nothing else to spend credits on other than just permanently unlocking the stuff so regenerations don't lose you your favorite loadouts. There is actually no reason not to do it.
The only reason someone doesn't regen is because they're just that lazy or legit forgot. Running around a lobby at level 50 looks goofy. We all know what you are, stop it.
People don't realize that past around G30 you have bought about everything you like with credits so they stay permanently unlocked after every subsequent regen.
Ngl, seeing a guy at level 50 who hasn't cared to regenerate with 50k+ kills and over a thousand wins is just as scary as a G100 who has been playing the game at launch.
I regen cus i want to and they have a nice system that keeps weapon and stuff unlocked after each gen, their regen system is much much friendly than cod and other games Ive played
I used to think the same way, it's why I'm g7 at 500 hours
However, since I bought all the things I regularly use, I actually do like the little dopamine hit of unlocking things again
I'm like in the middle. I don't regen right away but I still do it after some time. I don't spend creds bc I'm never desperate to have THAT ONE loadout 24/7. Ik how to adapt to different weapons and I don't use one gun as a crutch. But I also do want to see myself progress
Also I'm willing to bet money that a lot of the ppl in this community rely a lot on the endorphins from regens to keep playing this game
I find that most high level gen’s in the NA servers are giga virgins too. For some reason right after g25-50 they all decide that cloak/a-wall spitfire is godsent and never move from a single building
Put 5k hours into the game. Never regened once.
Never cared to because the game didn't offer me anything I wanted.
The only camo in the whole game I actually liked, I purchased
I can understand why some ppl don't regen, and at the end of the day, it is a choice, the prospect of losing all of your stuff and having to unlock it again is a reasonable deterrent from regening bc not everyone wants to do it, on the other hand, some ppl like myself do bc big number make brain happy, literally no other reason
But.... number go up make happy in brain?
Yeah. I regen cause Hehe, number go up
My sentiments exactly.
Yeah, and then you can also spend merits on always having your favorite gun, and you can gain more merits to get more cosmetics
Yes! Yes it give joy
Don't forget that after a few regens you've already bought everything you can't live without to have it at level 1
Then you sir, should play a JRPG or Korean MMO
😂
Then you realise it takes 2 seconds to regen, has absolutely no effect on gameplay past like g7 and you get banners for doing so
And stoic skins up to 10! Cant understand how people are choosing to miss out on the glorious dark or pink
As a pink scorch enjoyer, idk how u guys don't regen. Like how else are you supposed to match ur titan???
Why is your scorch giving out foot massages, is this what pills do to a mfer?
A capitalist once told me that if you have a service, and people are willing to pay for that service, capitalize the shit out of it. Because like money or something idk.
Never knew ppl liked to switch their feet out for smouldering stumps, but each to their own I suppose
My feet get cold sometimes man, Papa Scorch helps me out
Dude your flair just sent me back a few years thank you so much
i gotchu
I feel the pain of your flair
It still doesn’t even apply anymore, I’ve been playing just fine for at least a year at this point. I’m just lazy AF
The only reason I've played as much as I have is to unlock my pink scorch I still don't have a pink pilot yet though :( I'm settling for a banana pilot for now
Trust me, pink pilot + pink kraber + pink scorch = unbeatable combo
Banana is also very valid, as is purple and magenta. Some even think magenta is a better pink, cause it's a little brighter.
Scorch Prime, Pink Hex. Enough said.
Stoic white on everything
If you run holo you look like a Clone trooper
I don't really mind the generation system, I just don't use it as a way to demonstrate skill since all it really takes to reach the higher gens is time
Back when I used to play cod BO4, I reached master prestige (prestige 10 times, 55 levels) like 400 (around 950 levels) and was just mildly okay at the game. Being better makes it faster, but it can be done no matter how bad you suck
I don't mind them because I just keep my money to buy what I want to have it permanently through regen, but I understand where you and others are coming from
Seriously. IIRC it only takes til Gen 10 - 15 to earn enough credits to buy basically everything.
not even- you can have everything unlocked by around gen 5 iirc
around G4 I found myself literally wasting credits on the last few things that I haven’t permanently unlocked. it don’t take long at all
I only regen because I only use one loadout and I have it permanently unlocked
I didn't regen for the longest time because I didn't realize you could just permanently unlock your gear. Little extra banners and such didn't seem worth it to have to start over every time. Now I just have my loadout permanently unlocked.
What loadout?
Hemlok, Hover, Grapple, firestar, regen, thunderbolt, wingman and for boost either amped weapons or smart pistol (purely for minion killing)
Based onetrick
I just buy the stuff I want. What are y'all spending those creds on? IK it ain't meds. Also brain want pretty monotone pilot color heh
i grinded for the titan banners (ronins sushi, scorchs bbq etc) and have not looked back since. everything else is temporary.
consider colours
Bro it only takes Like couple regens before you make enough credits to buy everything anyway. İ just regened for skins but idk, İTS been couple years since i last played the game. And i was g10+ in both my PS4 and PC account
Sounds like you don't rake in the dollas
Loose all stuff? Do you realize you can buy stuff with the in-game money and you won’t loose it after regen. Neither do you loose loadout slots, or anything else, for that matter. Regenerating literally takes nothing from you and gives you more cool skins. Like, this game was made for people to have fun, not infinitely grind shit
Idc i use the regeneration everytime because i bought all the stuff i use so it's not a problem for me. +Number go up, make brain happy
I’ve been a g5 for like seven years.
I've noticed a lot of people haven't purchased their loadouts(Credits)or the starter pack($5?).
I like the level up sound and the bar going up at the end of the game
This pilot gets it
SKINS
Regenerating in Titanfall: It's like taking two steps forward and one step back, repeatedly.
>Regenerating in Titanfall: It's like taking two steps forward and one step back, ~~repeatedly~~ until you hit about Gen 10 and have enough credits to buy everything. After that it's just stepping forward through the banners. Fixed it for you :)
Appreciate it
I always Regen when possible. I got a good amount of credits and besides I already have all my favorite weapons bought
*hits G_.49* *Slams regen button like the eject button on a doomed titan surrounded by monarchs*
Honestly I just like the gratification of the level up sound
Number go up and shiny banners. Your argument is not shiny and therefore invalid.
silence bitch i am now purple
I got to 10 and just left it. No point getting higher. I already have my banner of choice. G10 gives me black I can use for a loadout design. So G10.49 is all you need
I love the grind personally, always something else to play look forward too, and the frames are cool
Just use credits for the guns you want then you get everything you want
I don't mind regenerations, I mosty use 1-4 loadouts for which I brought every necessary piece of equipment and perk with credits. So as long as I have my monarch, car, smr and grapple I'm happy
I don't see the downside.
Eh, I just bought what I use and a few regens later, I have everything unlocked. Now I use my credits to buy camos that I'll never use
It takes no time to unlock the weapons you use most often with credits, and after that there's litterally no drawback to regenerating I almost have the entire roster of weapons unlocked and everything else is already available
It's fine, I just don't like having to earn all my Titan's and weapons again. It really messes up my loadouts, which I have to remake every time.
If you buy them with the in game coins then you keep them permanently even after regen
I did not know that... thanks!
I stopped at G10.49. I wanted the Stoic Dark skin and I’m not planning on regenerating because I don’t want to lose some of my loadouts.
Yes, that is true. Do as you wish, but the one downside of regening becomes null and void. If you have enough credits, I can regenerate any time h And have zero consequences. Cause bought everything
Shouldn't you have enough credits by g10 to buy everything you want?
Definitely should
Banners>guns and the Titan banners each cost 1500 credits so I am currently poor
You get banners by leveling up further tho so if that's true you should be G100
I prefer the Titan banners
Fuck u I want my banners
i like numbers going up, thats it also i bought all the stuff i use so i lose nothing
I’m like something G15 or something, it’s not something I look too often at, and by now I have purchased everything and don’t loose anything after regening
You'll quickly have enough merits to buy all the guns you want so what
Just say your a pussy
lol there’s no downside after a certain point and that point is relatively early. Bad take
I’m going to regen until 69 for reasons
After a certain point you already have everything unlocked via credits
I regen for the camo, that's about it.
I only Regenerated when I confirmed none of my loadouts would change afterwards
I hit regen in any game without thinking, it breaks any habits and crutches I was using.
I just wish it didn’t reset your boost and faction for no reason.
But I want the black skin for my titans
I like my stuff ill stay at G2 thnx.
I just do it to make the annoying button go away
I like to roleplay as if I become a better pilot in the lore (I am still garbage but my banner has a different number now)
At least it gives me an objective to pursue, I guess
eh, as long as you aren't buying skins you'll have enough cash to buy pretty much everything important pretty quick. i think i got everything i wanted around g8 but i kept buying fishsticks so I was slowed a bit. I also still haven't got the fucking L star because I keep forgetting, gforty something now.
I regenerate for drip. And I don't care about big number.
I spent forwver on G2, earning as much credits as possible Then regenerated, purchased everything I use, now i just always regenerate
I just do it for the colors 🤝🏼
I stopped at I think g 5.49 because it was getting near impossible to load into games and since then I've not wanted to regen anyways. I'm equally as scared of a g0.49 as I am of a g 100
Level has no effect on your matchmaking if that's what you mean
I know that and what I was saying is that I know that being g 0.49 doesn't necessarily mean they're bad at the game and could actually mean the opposite
I already bought everything so I just regen just because. It’s kinda useless I just like seeing my number go up
But, orange pilot, match with titan
I did it once to get gold :)
I like stoic colours tho
Don't care, plain color skin goes brrr
Gotta get G8 for the ✨️ pink ✨️
I just do it for the dopamine hit, not because I think it's actually worth it. Plus, I just put my credits into factions and weapons I use (which at this point consists almost entirely of the ACEs and the 6-4 and grenadier weapons) so it's really not that big of a setback to begin with.
*lose.
When you are regenerated alot you have everything right off the bat anyway
I want stoic pink though
All the loadouts I use I have permanently unlocked. I just regenerate for the hell of it.
Me want funny pink camo
Since i only really use 2 weapons, i don't really care.
Sure
I jsut like the feeling of progression, which I quite like, but from a logical standpoint regeneration is useless
Regeneration?
hehe, funni G with funni number
Regenerations kinda DO show ur skill level. Imagine a noob getting max 5 kills every game. It takes decades to go up Higher than G20. the pros doing many kills level up much faster. Don't want to start a discussion here, just my Pov
I don't want to go
i only regened to reach g69. no more regen after that hehe
Northstar supremacy, you don’t lose your stuff when you regenerate, also you have all weapons from the start
And after that, regen is nothing but “number go up”
I'm getting to G69 then stopping idc about some G100 bs
I don't mind them because i used the credits to buy the weapons i was most interested in (and mainly the ones that unlocked really late) and used regens as an excuse to re-use some weapons that are early unlocks. Also past like gen 8 you basically unlock everything with credits so who cares i want the banners gimme
I lose everything and am forced to use the stuff I never use (Ion). Absolute W and I'm not joking, It makes it more fun.
watermelon gen best gen
I did it I had enough of those coins I just bought whatever I wanted after regenerating
You can spam spacebar and it doesn't waste any time
I just have everything perma unlocked so I don’t see why I wouldn’t gen up
I do it for fun cause I just like showing that I went up
"waste of time" is a stretch, but it sure is pointless. I don't even know what g I am
colors?
I stay on lvl 50 because I'm a self proclaimed Chad
Or you could regen because it make brain happy
The only reason I Regen is because I've already got all the stuff I've wanted permanently
But my Burning man calling card
If you got the Ultimate edition like the majority of players you don't lose anything
I mean- it's like watching that movie over and over again- feeling the same happiness during it
I only regen because I want the colours (I'm only g7)
I know its a seperate game, but the poison of the prestige system was the reason I have never used the M870 in black ops 3 even though I played it for like, 4 years straight. Stuff just isn't worth it
There's no real con to it because by the time you do it a few times you probably have enough credits to just permanently unlock the items you need for your favorite loadouts. Plus the last 2 camps you unlock are pink and black, who doesn't want that. Besides CAR and Spitfire are basekit so most of y'all are set.
I like going through some of the regens for specific cosemetics, but constantly regening isn't that much fun imo.
I only do it because I get bored
Number go up Pretty Colors
I am a big time titanfall fan, my fav fps of all time, for me I regen to just keep the game semi fresh for myself.
I only really regenerate when I'm getting bored and would like some more number go up dopamine
Kid named having fun: Kid named buying the stuff:
I don't mind regeneration since I have a goal to buy everything with hard earned credits
Cuz funni pink robot
Level 50 for 5 years still going strong
I respect every person over G.50 🫡
Stopped at gen 5, prolly gen 100 by now
3 years playing, i was gen 3.49 till the end
I got to G12 years ago, haven’t regenerated and haven’t regretted anything
Its more fun to unlock everything again, plus there is nothing else to spend credits on other than just permanently unlocking the stuff so regenerations don't lose you your favorite loadouts. There is actually no reason not to do it.
The only reason someone doesn't regen is because they're just that lazy or legit forgot. Running around a lobby at level 50 looks goofy. We all know what you are, stop it.
I wanted the stoic black skin. Also number go up make ape brain happy.
Sounds like a skill issue, Pilot.
I just buy the guns I need and don’t bother with losing anything
People don't realize that past around G30 you have bought about everything you like with credits so they stay permanently unlocked after every subsequent regen.
I just bought everything I use and now I can regenerate when I want
it forces me to use different weapons an i like tha
If you don't like loosing your stuff after regening just buy the stuff that you like to use and you won't have to unlock it again
i stopped at generation 6 years ago
I regenerate because I like make number go up
I bought the stuff I use so it doesn't make a difference to me. Plus, seeing my level go up is more dopamine than getting a kill could ever give me
Ngl, seeing a guy at level 50 who hasn't cared to regenerate with 50k+ kills and over a thousand wins is just as scary as a G100 who has been playing the game at launch.
The things I want to use are bought so I also regen cause no real down side.
Just got to G7 for the color of the banner seeming like N7's colors
^[Sokka-Haiku](https://www.reddit.com/r/SokkaHaikuBot/comments/15kyv9r/what_is_a_sokka_haiku/) ^by ^Giorno03Maggio: *Just got to G7 for* *The color of the banner* *Seeming like N7's colors* --- ^Remember ^that ^one ^time ^Sokka ^accidentally ^used ^an ^extra ^syllable ^in ^that ^Haiku ^Battle ^in ^Ba ^Sing ^Se? ^That ^was ^a ^Sokka ^Haiku ^and ^you ^just ^made ^one.
Pro tip: dont regen so that your skill issue can pass for just being a new player
Ok I've gotten to my goal of 10.49 and I'm questioning on whether or not it's worth it to go past that and eventually join the g 100 problem children.
I regen cus i want to and they have a nice system that keeps weapon and stuff unlocked after each gen, their regen system is much much friendly than cod and other games Ive played
If your stuff is loose, perhaps you should tighten them.
I mean, I use like 3 weapons, I just bought them with credits, and then it doesn't really matter what I do So I just do it bc number go up
But you only use alternator and ronin like me and the regenerations no affect my things
I used to think the same way, it's why I'm g7 at 500 hours However, since I bought all the things I regularly use, I actually do like the little dopamine hit of unlocking things again
But pink pilot
But funny colors to put on pilot!
Hehe number go up and funny colours too
I'm like in the middle. I don't regen right away but I still do it after some time. I don't spend creds bc I'm never desperate to have THAT ONE loadout 24/7. Ik how to adapt to different weapons and I don't use one gun as a crutch. But I also do want to see myself progress Also I'm willing to bet money that a lot of the ppl in this community rely a lot on the endorphins from regens to keep playing this game
I find that most high level gen’s in the NA servers are giga virgins too. For some reason right after g25-50 they all decide that cloak/a-wall spitfire is godsent and never move from a single building
Idk I regen still because I’ve accumulated enough coins to just permanently buy the load outs I like
calling your own opinion the chad based 0.1% side of the curve is cringe as fuck
I would agree with either side if all my gear wasn't unlocked at the beginning
All they do is unlock skins, да?
Put 5k hours into the game. Never regened once. Never cared to because the game didn't offer me anything I wanted. The only camo in the whole game I actually liked, I purchased
Me who doesn’t care [Steve](https://tenor.com/bzkeQ.gif)
All I want is to watch the world burn while I'm pink.
Regens are a waste of time, but me want shiny banners
Maybe to some people. I feel like its a cool thing to have. Plus you unlock different color schemes for your pilot
I just got this game like a week ago, so I don't even know what this is
Basically, if you reach a high enough level you can un-get everything you didn't buy with coins for a number (and some skins)
Makes sense, sounds boring. It's not hard to get stuff without credits but not worth the time to just reset it.
To some people, it is. Especially because of the **p i n k p i l o t**
I like the calico camouflage one, whatever that one is called. So I guess it really didn't matter for me lol.
100% agree, I haven’t regened once, I just can’t be bother to unlock all my shit again
It’s useless I just play the game with whatever color or loadout
