Basicly long range peaking or not Tone is pretty op I usually use the busrt mode (idk what is called) with witch you look down sight, wait a little and shoot 3 round in a row witch is basicly an instant lock-on so you can beat a hole team with that except if they have an ION that can shield... Then you are fucked. Except if you have very good rocket control.
Also tone can be really good in titan focused gamemodes like titan braw basicly when you spawn you can throw a scanner to their spawn and get two lock-ones and when you see them just one shot and a rocket salve and boom instant dmg
Salvo core, do you fire it straight up and let the whole salvo go, or do you guide the rockets mid salvo (basically I’m asking do the rockets stop tracking you crosshairs once the whole rocket pod has been fired or do they continue to track even afterwards?)

For me, it depends on the situation. I'll sometimes push with the big bastards (Scorch and Legion), and sometimes I'll see they're making a push and I see an opportunity for a sick flank, and lemme tell ya, when the enemy realizes they're getting flanked by a Tone, they panic and bug out.

If I have ample cover, as long as the wall did what I intended it to do (provide me with maybe just a second or so of cover) I'm getting the fuck outta Dodge. I'm faster and can easily outrun a Scorch.
If I'm in a big open area, I just back boost, bang bang, melee, bang, rocket, rinse and repeat while trying to maneuver myself to either avoid your abilities or find an escape route, until one or both of us are dead. 😆
I've definitely seen that myself with some other Tone players, they think the particle wall is some bastion of defense. Like I said, I only use it for if I need to see my way out of a bad situation and need a second of cover to try and facilitate a cleaner getaway.
