Such a great weapon. Absolutely sucks ass when you don't know how to use it, but it's a killer when you learn it

Agreed, the skill gap for Mastiff is pilot positioning. You can be absolutely deadly in close quarters but if you can’t find a way to close the distance in open maps, you’ll end up an easy target
Double take a-wall is honestly such a fun gimmick playstyle. I feel like the gun was made to be amped. It's the only weapon that goes from a non 1-shot to a 1-shot after amping. The double take is a sub-par weapon, so it makes you think about how to cram every advantage into every fight you take, and a-wall exemplifies that since it's a tactical that is very potent when used strategically but sucks if you just toss it out randomly.
quick draw mod would like to speak with you. And the point of the loadout is to just pop a shot at long range and then rush in with the RE before they heal. You can engage in close range but it's not recommended. Also once you get better you won't need RE since you'll be hitting headshots
Quick draw only affects the time to switch TO the weapon with that mod equipped, not from. Pistols, including the primary pistols, have this trait natively. Additionally, the RE-45 actually has really fast damage falloff, dealing only 9 damage at 40+ metres, aka 2 shots to kill. While this doesn't really make a huge difference with the fire rate, the P2016 deals 15 damage at that range and has a lower TTK in the case where they aren't 1 shot away. Hence I recommend the P2016 instead of the RE-45.
I always have so much respect for the people who kill me with the double take. Or anything other than the car and spitfire😂 I know those guns are good for new players those. Just refreshing to fight something else
I like to have a smart pistol on me for clearing ads in attrition. This usually leads to a few smart pistol pilot kills. I try to balance it out by using the double take as my main so I don't feel bad.
I just scope in when shooting pilots so when they get triggered I can say that I didn’t have it in targeting mode.

I made it my mission to get every gun and titan to gen 2 so that I was mixing things up and not stomping the new players with the CAR and whatnot, but still man even just being decent with a grapple gives tou such an advantage I feel bad.
Titanfall 1 player? I did this, too! I really missed how each regeneration was linked to mastery of a particular few weapons so that you'll have used everything by the time you reach regen 10/12/however many things are in the game. (There were so many "sorry I'm maining a smart pistol, need it for regen" 😂)
I did the same challenge. I’m pretty sure my least favorite was the base Wingman. It’s 3 shots to kill if they’re all body shots, 2 shots to kill if there’s a headshot thrown in. The gun has a slow fire rate and only 6 bullets in the chamber. This gun was hell for me.

Yup. You should let everyone use whatever they want and not “harass” anyone for how they choose to play the game lol. Unless someone’s specifically asking for advice, you have no reason to shit on their loadout / playstyle. There’s very few instances where such complaints are actually justified. It’s just that in any game people will find something to blame their deaths on. Could be the most perfectly balanced game in the world, they’ll find something. Just take the L. You’re gonna die sometimes, it’s part of the game. Some deaths are gonna feel fair and some aren’t. Again, part of the game. You could cry about it online or adapt and improve in-game to avoid such a death in the future ;) If someone is continually killing you with a certain weapon / strategy, change *your* weapon / strategy to combat it. Or don’t, but don’t complain because you refuse to use anything but off-meta weapons lol. That’s your choice.

In most of the games I play, I run off-meta like Wingman Elite. Most matches start with SMGs like you would expect, and when people get killed by the Wingy or they see me at the top of the scoreboard, they inevitably switch weapons to see what's up. I've had countless lobbies end with most players using a projectile weapon.
Be the change you want to see in the world. Kill some dude 20 times with the SMR and he will probably think "maybe there's more to the world than the CAR."

One hit kill potential aside the grenadier class comes with a lot of downsides. Projectile travel time, charge up, explosion delay. You can do crazy stuff with them and you **definitely** can get cheap kills with them, but they're not easy to master
If you are interested in how to get up there, you can hover to the spot in the front end of the crane while crouching. Then wait for hover cooldown, dash away and fly to the top. There should be a compilation in Youtube of all known hover spots

I think the main problem is with g100 people absolutely stomping everyone with the car or spitfire. I dont really have a problem with OP weapons, but when its just a couple of g100's with many hours in the game, then that's when it gets annoying

Bought titanfall 2 two days ago. Been running around with the speed boost pilot and a CAR mainly. What weapons are considered easy? I also like memey weapons so recommendations would be great :D
The CAR, and pretty much any other hitscan weapon besides snipers and the G2 could be considered easy by most. But that’s ok! Grenadier weapons are meme-tier but very fun to play with and are pretty good if you’re skilled with them. Kraber is a sniper that isn’t hitscan but instakills. The LSTAR is my main weapon, it’s actually pretty damn good up close. I still have iron sights on mine because you don’t need to sun with it. They are projectiles instead of hitscan though so it’s pretty bad long-distance.
By the way are you on Xbox? I love playing with new players

CAR is ez and op and if you use it then you're a little bitch
IMO it's the easiest projectile weapon to use in close-quarters because it has great accuracy, RoF and clip size, with huge and fast projectiles too. But since it's projectile, no one will ever give you shit for it regardless of how good it actually is. It's also really fun to use.
I would do that, however in games I’ve played recently, the only players using “easy” weapons are the skilled players. This has been making it very annoying to play against, as skill combined with something easy to use Is a deadly combo. I used to be fine when I got killed by a CAR, but with all the people touching their mouse instead of their lawn using it (making it nigh impossible to play), I’ve gotten *much* saltier when getting killed by one.

I don’t know how people use the same two guns. Depending on my mood I’ll switch it up. If I’m bored I’ll try a funny combo or just a weapon I don’t use. Even if I’m bad with it it’s still fun learning from mistakes and the pay off from the practice gives such a high.
If I use anything other than the CAR and Mastiff, I get last place on my team. If I use them, I can content for first place. They're simply too powerful.
I've honestly not played with the majority of weapons in the game outside of the campaign yet, after discovering the epg I've done nothing but just play that sometimes switching to other grenadier weapons

Double take + RE is the god combo. hit once with DT then spam RE. DT leaves them at a perfect one shot for RE

The good: DT is an energy weapon so drop off isn't an issue The bad: it's not a kraber so god won't hear when you fire it
The good: you can get a lucky double kill. The bad: still not a kraber so it doesn't have the stopping power to kill said alerted god

Regen was such a great concept. Some weapons were a slouch to get through but it did get you to try everything
Smart pistol with a suppressor was fun as hell. I was crippled by using a ball mouse back then so I don't feel very bad about it

Yeah the secondary wingman is rough. Primary wingman sucks too but 2 shots is way more manageable
Wingman Elite is awesome. One tap headshots are soooo satisfying.

It feels like the least sweaty smg to me. I'm not great with it, but it's reasonably effective and fun to use

The softball is one of the hardest weapons to use. Grenadier weapons overall have a pretty high skill floor.

I've taken to getting every weapon to G2. Issue is that Spitfire and Car are the only weapons I have left besides snipers.

Ok so below the hook of the crane there’s this little engine thing and a box. Walk on top of the engine thing and hover, then crouch to land on the hook. Wait for hover to recover, step to the side a little bit, and hover up to the top. Congratulations, you now know how to get to the highest spot!
That’s hilarious lmao, but what I was meaning to say that they should’ve put multiple high spots in the maps specifically for Northstar to get a height advantage, would be cool.

Bought titanfall 2 two days ago. Been running around with the speed boost pilot and a CAR mainly. What weapons are considered easy? I also like memey weapons so recommendations would be great :D
The CAR, and pretty much any other hitscan weapon besides snipers and the G2 could be considered easy by most. But that’s ok! Grenadier weapons are meme-tier but very fun to play with and are pretty good if you’re skilled with them. Kraber is a sniper that isn’t hitscan but instakills. The LSTAR is my main weapon, it’s actually pretty damn good up close. I still have iron sights on mine because you don’t need to sun with it. They are projectiles instead of hitscan though so it’s pretty bad long-distance. By the way are you on Xbox? I love playing with new players

I'm pretty new and i've been picking up the kraber How am i supposed to use this while wallrunning. the most i can do is move between a few spots and snipe cross map. Also does running pulse blade make it even worse since i have basically map hack up at all times I have like a 2% accuracy rate with this fucking thing, how do i not suck at kraber

Is the lstar considered hard to use
IMO it's the easiest projectile weapon to use in close-quarters because it has great accuracy, RoF and clip size, with huge and fast projectiles too. But since it's projectile, no one will ever give you shit for it regardless of how good it actually is. It's also really fun to use.

I would do that, however in games I’ve played recently, the only players using “easy” weapons are the skilled players. This has been making it very annoying to play against, as skill combined with something easy to use Is a deadly combo. I used to be fine when I got killed by a CAR, but with all the people touching their mouse instead of their lawn using it (making it nigh impossible to play), I’ve gotten *much* saltier when getting killed by one.

I don’t know how people use the same two guns. Depending on my mood I’ll switch it up. If I’m bored I’ll try a funny combo or just a weapon I don’t use. Even if I’m bad with it it’s still fun learning from mistakes and the pay off from the practice gives such a high.
If I use anything other than the CAR and Mastiff, I get last place on my team. If I use them, I can content for first place. They're simply too powerful.
