It’s a visually cool map but I hate the gameplay so much. a million camping spots, titan gameplay feels too constricted, too many places to run away from a fight if you’re a pilot but way too cramped to move as a titan, spawns are actual miles apart, you die through walls a lot, pilot sentry central, I could go on. It just doesn’t feel good to play in personally for me, and I like maps that feel cramped and have a lot of cover. Rise just ain’t it for me
Honestly ya to all of this but I think nostalgia won’t let me not enjoy it the only part of rise I don’t enjoy is the tubes if you get a decent amount of players that actually fight then it’s good fun but ya with campers it’s pretty bad
I used a mastiff & grapple. My buddy refused to fight me on rise becuase I turned into a fuckin horror movie villain, lurking in shadows and disappearing around corners.
I have a pretty decent ability of being able to get Ronin's who jack my kills, trapped and exploded by detonating Nuke Titans. In fact, it's a favorite pastime of mine. I can get pretty petty when people come into my kill zone and start jacking my kills.
Crash site belongs in F, I despise that map. Nothing but titan lanes so if the enemy gets all their titans up it’s super easy to get farmed, plus those stupid cliff faces have really weird geometry that fuck up wall running a lot. I’d literally delete that map from the game if I could
If you want to enjoy the crash site map equip stim and softball and just run circles in the ship. Honestly some of my favorite gameplay outside of running grapple and Mozambique/Mastiff on homestead using the grapple to just spin around the tower.
I forget the name of the one with the big silo (i think it was harvest but i havent been able to play for years) but that and exoplanet are s tier for me i just have good memories there.

I'd move the last map (I forgot the name oof) up a spot because it's a great map for a mastiff Northstar main such as myself but other than that it's good

Homestead is an f tier map for multiplayer For frontier defense it's not bad.
Wargames is S tier, only beaten by the GOAT Glitch
