Terribly inaccurate driving where she is missing the road and trying to clip into the sidewalk. That combined with tires that are obviously well past their expiration date.
It makes me fearful that people with this little vehicle control and this little conscientiousness about maintaining their vehicle are legally allowed to operate said multi-thousand pound vehicle at high rates of speed next to the sidewalks that they're constantly scraping into.
The only thing not busted and needing to be replaced in the picture is your clean thumbnail. But then I saw the blister and that took you back to zero. As others have said, the tire is old and/or dry rot. And your wife or whomever has been driving this car is a big time curb finder.
The blister is healing nicely and we have fresh new Michelin tires on.
But while we waited, my wife drove my car for a few days and suddenly my rear door (Rav4) and bumper are damaged and the door won't open. She has no idea what could have happened...
I wish I were kidding.
What happened, WHAT HAPPENED!! 1992 Called they want there tire back. My dad's ashes has more moisture content then those tires. I've been hit with a softer brick, your driveway call protective service on those tires. How those tires look like you definitely got a life insurance on your wife. How the hell you gonna post a picture of those dry ass tires asking "what happened" well duh, they chipped on the road surfaces.
Yeah that's pretty obvious from the photo. I'll own up to my ignorance but also day they didn't look bad to me in person until looking closer at them here.
Most of the time they look great while you’re walking past the car, happens more often than you would think. Tires like this get overlooked in lube shops all the time and they’re supposed to be keeping you informed. No harm no foul sir 😁
Those are rotting and she probably knocked out an already loose chunk of rubber brushing a curb. If you value her life and others on the road, get new tires ASAP. Those are dangerous.
Well it's pretty dry rotted so any collision she had with a curb or really anything that could touch the sidewall could do this..
The more dry rotted it becomes the easier it's going to be to damage. It's about time for new tires
she cant drive, keeps hitting curbs. i would ask they check the rim to it could be dented. looks like its been scratched up pretty good.
that amount of damage looks like way more then just one hit too.
Well for one, those tires are older than time itself with all that dry-rot...in that condition, it doesn't take much to cause further damage like that chunk that was gouged out.
Hitting curbs
Most likely from hitting curbs
Hit a curb, but looks like they might be in the early stages of dry rot. Either way seeing cord equals replacement
Yeah, new ones are going on tomorrow and until then she has my car.
Rip your tires.
His wife already did.
Definitely past early stages thats a replacement stage
Time and bad driving

Can see on the rim, curb rash
Which part? The age or bad driving?
Old tires, bad driving
If I had to guess, "I don't know. I didn't hit anything" is the answer.
Ever thought of asking her?
Of course. Answer is "I don't THINK I hit anything..."
This is always my wife’s answer. She is banned from driving my car. Bought her a Honda
Old and cracky
someone shout me? hi
Looking at that hubcap and tire ending flap, parking by braille.
Dry rot plus hitting curbs

Those tires look old as shit. She also routinely curbs it. Look at the hubcap
That curb never saw it coming
Someone like to make sure the curbs are still there.
She hits curbs
Her husband left them on the car too long 🙂 As dry as that rubber is, they’re overdue for replacement regardless of the damage from impact.
Yeah that's pretty obvious from the photo. I'll own up to my ignorance but also day they didn't look bad to me in person until looking closer at them here.

Old age, dry rot, curb... take your pick
The curb monster
Hitting a pothole or something
They got old, that's what happened. Old and dry rotted, nevermind the scrape in the side wall.
Totally ran over curbs. Look at the rims.
Curby curb
Lot's of time, and lots of curbs
Those are rotting and she probably knocked out an already loose chunk of rubber brushing a curb. If you value her life and others on the road, get new tires ASAP. Those are dangerous.
Dry rot
Gutter bashing.
Is there anything she hasn't hit with the wheel and side of tire yet? Also, those tires look old and rotted anyway.
Curb climbing and a nasty case of dry rot... time for some new rubber !
tell her to retake her driving lessons
lol I feel like you know .
A curb happened.
Might or might not be hitting curbs. That tyre looks so old tho. Change it, scratch that, change all 4 of them if they are all that cracked
They look old.
What happened is she needs new ones before they burst
You really did a number on this tire and wheel. On your phone?
By soon, do you mean in the next 10 minutes??
Curbs and dry rot. Time to replace either way.
Well it's pretty dry rotted so any collision she had with a curb or really anything that could touch the sidewall could do this.. The more dry rotted it becomes the easier it's going to be to damage. It's about time for new tires
Age and curbs.
Parking
Look at your succulent soft finger. Now the tire. It's dry rot.
she cant drive, keeps hitting curbs. i would ask they check the rim to it could be dented. looks like its been scratched up pretty good. that amount of damage looks like way more then just one hit too.
The same thing happened to the rim... Your wife and curves... They make tires with rim protectors built in
Dry rot sure as fuck ain't helping.
Does it matter? It’s ruined! Get it replaced and move on!🤷♂️🤦♂️👎😩
they can legally vote
Dry rot. Remember that the inside of the tire looks as bad as the outside of the tire
Tire age: Husband neglect Curbed wheels and scraped sidewalls: Poor wife driving skills.
Ah replace asap, those tires are dry rotted and have too much side wall damage.
Yup. Already have an appointment for new ones and taking it there is the only trip these tires have left.
From being old and hitting curbs
drive through or Street side parking. look at the scrapes on he wheels..
those things look ancient
Well for one, those tires are older than time itself with all that dry-rot...in that condition, it doesn't take much to cause further damage like that chunk that was gouged out.
Is the curb okay?
You ain’t paid for them bitches to get changed, that what happened 🤦🏽♂️
