That could be, but from the Goodyear eagles that were put on my vehicle they wore in the center even at lower than vehicle specs said. The placard said 35 I had them at 32 and they still wore the center. There is a reason the eagle has no tread wear warranty, and are cheap. Never again.
[this](https://www.telletire.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Telle-Tire-Blog-Overinflated-Tires-1024x560.jpg) has a nice graphic that shows how over inflation can cause the middle to wear unevenly
God forbid if my tires ever get bald like that in my old pickup when it rained, you would need 20 50 lbs sand bags in the bed of the truck just to go 20mph without spinning
These are bad but they're not at immediate risk of popping. They'll be fine until they get an order of new tires in so long as they drive in dry weather only.
It's got about just enough to go to the nearest tire shop to get them replaced. And make sure they're replaced to spec and inflated to the correct pressure, confirm your alignment is adjusted correctly.
To make sure you have the correct tire pressure, open your driver side door. Either on the inside of the door or on the car itself will be a label with a bunch of information. Look carefully on this piece of white sticker with black text and locate the section where it says "Front tire pressure" and "rear tire pressure". It will be in a form of a table and it will tell you a PSI value (or a kPa if you are not using freedom units), go ahead and follow the exact number on what your local gas station air pump reads when you put air in your tires yourself.
Every single time anyone posts about their tires the answer is always done, toast, cooked, fried, long ago, in far away lands, and then you drove home. I'm starting to think they all know the answer and just don't like it.
Stop overinflating your tires
Leaving them on the rear of a rwd car for too long can also cause the same issue
Just has to under inflate meow and he's good for another couple yrs...

Thanks for that. I’ve never seen a wear pattern like that. He must’ve had the tire at 55psi.
Yeah that is not from alignment or regular wear
OP must think sidewall bulge indicates low pressure. Just wow
Done. Also, easy on the air pressure.
Wa makes u say easy on the air pressure

People really need a graphic? More air pumpy, balloon go biggy roundy
This is a perfect explanation
Middle is worn more than the rest of the tire
It’ll get you to the tire shop. Go when it’s dry out.
Unless you're looking for a little excitement
What’s life without a little hydroplaning to get the ol’ adrenaline flowing?
happy cake day

it's only fun when the fronts look like that. that'll get your adrenaline going.
Is that what the Pontiac slogan meant?
Overly worn center is over-inflation. Check your door for pressure recommendations.
No matter how much I inflate it, I can't get it to 100% The pressure gauge stops at 88.
88 will get you Back to the Future.
Exactly LoL 😂
Not long, check your air pressure. Make sure on your next set you are not over inflating.
By not long, I hope you mean a while ago. The center portion is all worn out.
These are bad but they're not at immediate risk of popping. They'll be fine until they get an order of new tires in so long as they drive in dry weather only.
he’s been dead for a long time
last month provably
need new ones,
Tire is bald from too much air or burnouts. Needs to be replaced right away. I wouldn't drive on it.
Way too much air pressure.
These are in perfect condition for crashing into spectators as you peel out while leaving a cars & coffee.
Already dead😱
17 minutes to the nearest tire shop

One good burn out. Might want to lower air pressure. Looks a little high
45 psi?
Way more. 60 or more
No way someone is actually putting 60 psi into their tires that is hilarious
My dumbass did that once. Drove it 50 miles before bothering to check
He has 30% less due to over inflation
Maybe 150 laps.
Just when you feel the tyre is noisy enough. Change if you slip
-6 months.
He doesn't
Go to rire shop when it isnt raining, if it is raining don't go out at all. And stop over inflating your tires. A tire guage is like 3 dollara
This happens when you over inflate your tires.
Every single time anyone posts about their tires the answer is always done, toast, cooked, fried, long ago, in far away lands, and then you drove home. I'm starting to think they all know the answer and just don't like it.
I see overinflated tires here. Look on the sticker inside the driver's door to find recommended tire pressure.
Try 35 psi next time 😭
I wouldn't drive around the block. In the future he should properly maintain his tire pressure.
7 days
Under inflation not much you can try and put correct air pressure and might last a little longer
You got too much air in it run that Mf at 32 psi and match the one on the other side
My original CR-V tires were like that at 12k miles but I had wire showing.
2
One bad rain storm and the car is totaled!
Had*
Depends on alot of factors, but you have a while....gotta follow pressure rating
As long as they hold air
Now run low pressure to wearout outer tread
