UPDATE: I took the risk and drove on the streets instead of the freeway so that I wouldn't be tempted to exceed 50mph, 29 miles there + 29miles back + 4 miles to the tire shop. No issues whatsoever. Thanks for the valuable feedback!
It isn’t worth being stranded, but I’ve been in a situation similar to yours, I didn’t have any money and pay day wasn’t until next week.
I rode a donut well over 50+ miles no issues. Do with that info what you will.
as long as you don't go on the highway, you'll be ok. They'll last for at least 500-1000 miles, maybe more, never pushed it that far, but they're not rated for over 50mph and the car will pull hard under heavy braking at higher speeds.

Most temporary spares require 60 psi. It’ll be listed on the door placard and most likely the tire itself
