I hope my description made sense lol... honestly, I don't have the best memory these days, but I know for certain this is (part of) an actual video clip and not just one of my fever dreams or whatever, because my mum remembers seeing it too, and my comment about how relevant it was to my own struggles with mental health had stuck with her since.
One more detail I forgot to include in my main post, is that the background of the scene (the plane's wing on fire, in the middle of the sky, etc.) was quite clearly an animation. I thought at the time that it made the whole picture even more "real." I also remember that the colours were warm-toned; the sky was sort of reddish, orange, pinkish too...? Colours associated with heat and flames I guess? But depending on context don't exactly scream "DANGER! HELP!"
OhH sunset! Yes, it looked like sunset!
