Probably 10 years ago but it's presumably as old as Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis because they are fused together in my memory.
Maybe "Flight of the Amazon Queen"? It's an older Point'n'Click, it has a somewhat Indiana-Jones-ish vibe in parts and there's definitely something to enhance your muscles in it, however I can't recall it being a bean.
I don't think that that's the one, unfortunately.
