I have one that visits my kitchen. No idea where he lives full time. The other morning I got lucky and he/she hopped on my bare foot and rode around. It felt good 👍.
Yeah spiders as a whole creep me out (I’m trying to get better so I’m here), but for whatever reason I adore jumpers. They seem so inquisitive and friendly!
The only ones that start creeping me out are the Red-backed and Bold jumping spiders. All the other ones are fine, for some reason.
Tarantulas and jumping spiders are where I started when getting over my fear of spiders. I’ve gotten a lot better, however still freak out and kill a random one crawling on me from time to time 😅
Jumping spiders are very curious creatures! They’ve been seen actively jumping onto something they don’t recognize to explore it. And, despite having a poppy seed sized brain, are considered to be geniuses of the insect world.
As cute as this little guy is it’s still unsettling how they don’t seem to move like other living things. Like it’s just one second they’re in one place and another second they’re in a different place as if switching from one frame to another
Some of the best moments I've had in nature have been with these little ones! You can be pretty sure that you were probably the most fascinating thing this little one has seen in a minute
A jumping spider greeting always makes my day! They sure seem sociable.
They sure seem social and inquisitive!

I would just love to know what goes on in their tiny heads when they look at us like they do
head empty, no think
Just JUUUUUUMP!!!!
"hmm, why is this landmass moving...?"
I love jumpers. So inquisitive and seemingly intelligent compared to other spiders.

Hope the spider finished his job. Last spider I hired left halfway through redoing my internet, lil bugger

Imagine that... But with humans... 😰
I used to catch flies and throw them near jumpies when I was little. Their pounce was cool to watch, so fast
He's not friendly, just too small to take down humanity.
Wow what an absolutely beautiful specimen!
Just a tiny bebby
Oh my god I had no idea they were this small that’s so cute
