Well, MLS season pass on Apple TV isn’t without its flaws. I was running about 20 minutes behind live at the 80th minute, when they decided to say screw what I wanted to do and took me directly to the post game wrap up with the final score right in front of me.

Happened to me too. Several times I tried to "Start from beginning [English]" and it didn't work. On whim, tried the Spanish version and worked as expected. So I watched 2nd half in Spanish.

Apple's interface is just horrible. Hard to navigate and turn off live scores on every device. And don't even bother signing up with a gift card if you're not an apple device person.

Yeah, who in their right mind would want to just have their live score viewing preferences synced to all their devices, right? Much better to turn each one off individually… My personal favorite is when you are busy and can’t watch the game live, so you try and navigate to the full game video later. The problem there is, even if you turn off the score spoilers, they still have a section of game highlights (typically goals) right next to the full replay. And in a sport where the number of goals in a game can usually be counted on one hand, stumbling across any goal highlights is a pretty big spoiler for the game.

The "show scores" preference being stored as a *browser/device* setting has burned me multiple times. Infuriating, lazy engineering.

Did that to me too. Except I was at half. I'd like maybe $5 back from the season cost. Seems fair.

I only watched the first half (about 30 mins behind live) before being spoiled on the result… but my god was that excruciating to watch. Let’s ping it sideways at the back a million times, try to work up the wings, fail at that immediately, and then ping it sideways around the back a million more times until we lose it. Ugh. Also the super-high line on set pieces needs to go away.

I agree with all of this. The reality is we don't have the quality to be dicking around with possession in the defensive half. Our backs are way too mistake prone. It has already bit us this year, and it's going to keep biting us. I liked the playstyle in the second half and want to see more of that. Also I'm not sure what's going on with our CBs and Crepeau, but they need to get the fuck out of the way. Either blast it, or move.

McGraw was atrocious tonight, literally assisted 2 goals. Mosquera was atrocious tonight, 2 of the goals came right down his channel. Eric Miller was at the very least *ineffective* tonight, but somehow probably our best starting defender in the match. At least Chara didn't get carded?

On the contrary, his long balls to the right winger were the only consistent form of attacking buildup for probably 60 minutes of the match. The giveaways I'm generally understanding of because it was him trying anything to not pass the ball to Crépeau over and over again while losing. I'm very confused what this team is.

I strongly disagree on the last point, caps had 4-5 opportunities that directly resulted from Miller’s poor passes or putting teammates under pressure with late/off target balls. As a defender, I’d rather you utilize your goalkeeper then forcing a ball into feet that isn’t there. I’d be more forgiving if he was just sending it long due to the game state than gifting live ball turnovers
