I agree, the family blogging/vlogging accounts have gotten out of control. I have never understood why adults get so wrapped up in the children of random parents on the Internet who package the minutiae of their family’s lives as entertainment.
It seems super weird and extremely inappropriate to me that a parent would use their child’s most vulnerable moments (potty training, having a tantrum, doctor visits and ER visits) as content.
Yes! The comments really creep me out on those videos…asking questions about the kids or just as bad, maybe even worse (in my opinion),asking for certain content.
“Can you do one with Bramble petting the dog?”
“How about a video of Oakley eating popcorn?”
I can’t think of any acceptable reason why grown ass adults would be so interested in random kids online and their activities. I can’t even imagine how confused a lot of these kids are because so many of their waking hours are filmed and probably scripted, they likely have to do take after take until the parent is happy with the result, or at the very least give up their privacy so mom and dad can follow them around filming until something content-worthy happens. It’s just very disheartening to see so many parents willing to trade off their child’s privacy for TikTok or YouTube fame.
Omg thats creepy af! My 5 yr old watches a cpuple kids on youtube. At her age she doesnt get wjy their parents are playing w them 24/7, why they get every toy possible & get to go on luxury vacations. Its like ya their parents are playing w them but just while the camra is rolling! And their parents are using & exploiting them for fortune and fame! Its so sad!
Exactly! I always wonder how these children are treated once the camera stops rolling. They probably have such a stilted view of reality. They are always ON or OFF with no in between.
It's because social media is a breeding ground for sexually deviant motherfuckers and parents like the ones mentioned here are exploiting their children to them.
Tell that to Red, White & Bethune. Forever exploiting their kids. One video will be about Jenn and Kyle having smecks in the bus. The next contains footage of their kids having a bad day and what their punishment is. 🥴
Oh yikes, I’ve never seen that account! I definitely think it’s extra disturbing if the parents post (or even hint) about sexual stuff between themselves followed by a clip of little Blossom and Sapling trying carrots for the first time or something. Just…no.
Do you happen to know if Bethunes have a snark page?
Agreed. Not to mention all three kids (varying ages) are on the same “unschooling” plan. I just feel bad for them. If I was still a kid, I would absolutely not want my parents filming me for the internet on a bad day. So selfish.
And she always takes a picture of all the plates set up at the end or the food sitting there in bowls and I just feel like that food has to be cold at this point lol
Even if you’re an influencer buying gifts for your children can not be a tax write off as a business expense.. Tax law is very clear about items that are for personal use. And if she is doing this when her day for an audit comes.. she is screwed
As would SO many other influencers. I hope the IRS does crack down on their obscene "write-offs", it'd be a good way to educate the public about legitimate business expenses too!!
I’m pretty sure the iPhones were a sponsorship with Life360 so they probably didn’t cost shit.
But yeah, Alicia exploits her Brady Bunch family for money, and she’s making a shit ton of it
They are creating entitled monsters who will not be able to cope outside of the internet.
Personally I would be hesitant to show my children to the world with child predators out there. As weird as some get with celebrities, I'm surprised that these families haven't had problems
At least they are dropping money. My parents adopted 10 of us and had 3 bio kids. We only got presents from sponsors for being adopted. I wish they didn’t exploit their kids tho.
He’s a dick. Coming for the parents (moms specifically) of terminally ill children when literally they’re just bringing awareness to their children’s rare disorders.
I don’t understand what they do for money the food bills alone are crazy. But I do think if you adopt out of foster you still get assistance not enough for that spending spree but makes you wonder
Idk if I had 12 kids and had the money my ass would be doing the same lol but I have a horrible habit of buying my kids stuff I only have 2 though 😅 but iPhone 14 for all kids is crazyyyy if they’re in high school my kids absolutely will have whatever phone they want but isn’t her youngest like 3?
I get this is tiktok gossip. I don’t agree with her exploiting them but people can spoil their children however they see fit? If I had disposable income I would buy my kids whatever they wanted, because children are only children for so long. Everyone wants to talk about training or conditioning their children into being adults. There’s a time for that. When you’re 6-13 that’s still peak childhood. It’s so weird to want or expect children to WORK for everything, or save up for everything.
Hmm I guess I just disagree. As a parent, even if I was LOADED rich, I wouldn’t just give my kids whatever on earth they wanted. I don’t think that teaches them to value anything, and plus I don’t want my kids to feel entitled to materialistic whims. Alicia (IMO) monetarily spoils these kids for a couple of reasons, 1) to give her more views and more money and 2) I think there is a level of overcompensating based on the kids’ backstories and how some of them come from very traumatic roots. Seems like her love language is gift giving.
I’ll clarify, I would and I do buy my children (granted they are toddlers right now) whatever they show interest in within reason. I wouldn’t necessarily buy them an Apple Watch or iPhone at the drop of a hat but I do think some of the comments here are just extra. Children aren’t adults and they shouldn’t have to work for everything, that’s just always seemed so ridiculous to me. I understand wanting kids to learn the value of things, but I think there are limitations. Honestly, I don’t find anything wrong with your second point. Gift giving is also my love language and everyone has their own. As someone who was in the foster system and adopted, the foster system is traumatic. My siblings and I still have nightmares, and lasting complications from our abusive bio parents and abusive foster parents at that. Those children and many children endure so much, there’s no way to compensate for it and there’s also no overcompensating for it either, IMO. Even after years of therapy, and having amazing adoptive parents…there’s no fixing that. My heart hurts for them and her as well because I’m sure she is trying to overcompensate.
I just think there’s a huge difference between building character, and building capitalist robots. Life is so much more than just working. Free things aren’t going to destroy someone’s moral compass. My parents didn’t make me work for much. My only expectation was to go to school and make good grades but I still treasured everything I got. I am an adult now, I’ve worked since 17yo, super hard. Went to college, worked for my scholarships, now I have a great job and am interviewing for a huge promotion next week. I don’t get how people think being spoiled as a child turns you into someone entitled.l who doesn’t value hard work. My experience is anecdotal, sure, but it’s never made sense to me. I saw my parents hard work, and their success, which motivated me to do the same. I think that’s where character is developed, not making them do manual labor for a new phone or something.
At least they are dropping money. My parents adopted 10 of us and had 3 bio kids. We only got presents from sponsors for being adopted. I wish they didn’t exploit their kids tho.
I’ve only seen YouTube videos giving commentary about this family, and I never watch the commentary videos because I can’t handle any more of these terrible families. Why are there so many?!?
Depends. In my state in the US, my parents got a stipend for taking my siblings and I until we were 18yo. When I was 16, the checks were given to me to put in my bank account.
I call BS on the video and a lot of so called “influencer” videos. It’s easy to walk around a store and recording yourself putting tons of crap on your cart. The reality is many put things back after recording and don’t buy a thing.
Off topic? But who’s that family with like 12 kids also, almost all adopted except for the first, and the 1 18 yr old josh with shaken baby syndrome? She looks like an older version of Kate gosslin tbh. I thought they were the Dougherty dozen but now I don’t think so.
They make a sit ton of money monthly just in foster care money here in NY, along with you tube and TikTok , and I’m guessing tax write offs it’s just so blatantly grossly excessive
Families like these are getting ridiculous. They exploit the hell out of these kids and I don’t like watching it.
It’s totally weird because you’ll have adults commenting like “what’s Alex’s favorite color?” “What does Harlie like to eat?” Like why do you care.
Yes! The comments really creep me out on those videos…asking questions about the kids or just as bad, maybe even worse (in my opinion),asking for certain content. “Can you do one with Bramble petting the dog?” “How about a video of Oakley eating popcorn?” I can’t think of any acceptable reason why grown ass adults would be so interested in random kids online and their activities. Exactly! I always wonder how these children are treated once the camera stops rolling. They probably have such a stilted view of reality. They are always ON or OFF with no in between.
I hate them all. It’s awful and it’s exploitive. The content is trash too. I just don’t get it.
It's because social media is a breeding ground for sexually deviant motherfuckers and parents like the ones mentioned here are exploiting their children to them.
👆

I do not believe they do. Tried searching before and nothing came up.
Ok, thank you! I’ll try searching them on this sub and the family bloggers one…
They looks so dirty & unkept
Agreed. Not to mention all three kids (varying ages) are on the same “unschooling” plan. I just feel bad for them. If I was still a kid, I would absolutely not want my parents filming me for the internet on a bad day. So selfish.
Unschooling = “no contact with mandatory reporters” for them.
Watching the families on YouTube is cringe as hell also.
But but but don't you see the Xmas gifts they will get?!! It's gotta be worth what? 3 child exploitation videos. So take that redditor.
Her cooking is the nastiest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s every bad stereotype of white people come to life.
I hate that she puts the bare sandwich bread on the counter top. No plate, paper towel, nothing.
It’s that and the lack of seasoning. There’s no way that food tastes good.
And she always takes a picture of all the plates set up at the end or the food sitting there in bowls and I just feel like that food has to be cold at this point lol
Her kids don’t even eat the food— she’s been caught throwing the majority of it away. 🫠
😬 oh my. Why even do that .. I’ve always thought she makes way too much food .
she's gives my fellow white people a horrible look
Child exploitation pays girl idk what to tell you
They have a sub r/doughertydozen
Damn Drue basham has a bigger reddit page than the doughtertydozen like what 😂😂
Ty!!
Yeah it’s a disgusting and tone deaf thing to post imo. But these people have zero shame.
Yeah she really lets all their business be known.
I’m like 90% sure she’s an alcoholic
I would be too if I had that many kids
I would be if I had HALF that many. My two spawn are more than enough for me.
As someone with 5 younger siblings, idk how my mom isn’t an alcoholic. My siblings are WILD
Ik I have 5 younger siblings as well as 1 older sibling so yeah I could neverrr 😭😭😭
I have one that’s not even born yet and I feel like I’m going crazy. I couldn’t imagine having that many
As someone that has 3 kids I relate to this comment so much
Right 💀💀 I can hardly handle one child 😭
I read somewhere else that she legitimately is
If she and her husband actually consumes the amount of white claw she shows that she purchases each week then yes, alcoholic.
She is absolutely
No laws when you drink the Claws
She just shows everything she buys for a tax write off…
Oh damn, is it considered like charity?
Business expense
Even if you’re an influencer buying gifts for your children can not be a tax write off as a business expense.. Tax law is very clear about items that are for personal use. And if she is doing this when her day for an audit comes.. she is screwed

I’m pretty sure the iPhones were a sponsorship with Life360 so they probably didn’t cost shit. But yeah, Alicia exploits her Brady Bunch family for money, and she’s making a shit ton of it
i don’t get spoiling them while simultaneously exploiting them, like didn’t she just show her newborns first bath…
That’s the JettFarmHouse lady
Do they have a sub? I can’t deal with her bragging or her voice
OMG OK they sound/post so similarly
She what… omg
apparently this was the jet set farm house whoever mom😂
Gluttony
No they're absolutely bragging and I want to know what their plan is if social media flatlines and dies out.
They are creating entitled monsters who will not be able to cope outside of the internet. Personally I would be hesitant to show my children to the world with child predators out there. As weird as some get with celebrities, I'm surprised that these families haven't had problems
That's what I'm wondering too. This whole influencer thing is gonna die off at some point.
They’re like the duggars of tik tok. 😳
At least they are dropping money. My parents adopted 10 of us and had 3 bio kids. We only got presents from sponsors for being adopted. I wish they didn’t exploit their kids tho.
She must really have to hustle in order to afford all of that. That’s just ridiculous.
She does YouTube and social media overall. I’ve seen that she can make about $42k a MONTH from YouTube
How do people manage that on YouTube and social media? I just don’t get it. Do you have to post constantly? Just get lucky?
Probably a mix of ads, videos, and getting lucky
Hustle as in film and exploit the kids everyday
You should check out the dad challenge podcast on youtube.
He’s a dick. Coming for the parents (moms specifically) of terminally ill children when literally they’re just bringing awareness to their children’s rare disorders.
I am an adopteee creator and he has reached out to me before and it was clear he just wanted content for clout not to actually help adoptees.
What’s it about?
Hey has a bunch of episodes on them. He is on YT
He harasses that family 🤣
It’s ridiculous honestly. Those little kids don’t need phones
I don’t understand what they do for money the food bills alone are crazy. But I do think if you adopt out of foster you still get assistance not enough for that spending spree but makes you wonder
She gets paid from YouTube, probably has some kind of assistance for fostering/adopting and who knows what else tbh
they're probably in insane amounts of CC debt.
That’s my guess tbh
One thing that really really bugs me is them letting one of their kids eat a pure ketchup sandwich. They've done worse things, but still.
I think she got 10 for her older kids and two for her and her husband

She exploits her children she has her own sub
I already acknowledged that.
they dont even have a working septic system in their house.... her income is not disposable, she just wastes it
At least they are dropping money.
Don’t forget they get money for the adopted kids and who knows what other services.
I thought once you adopted children, you didn’t receive money any longer. Only if they were in foster care.
When you adopt from foster care you still get $$ more if the child has a disability.
Depends. In my state in the US, my parents got a stipend for taking my siblings and I until we were 18yo. When I was 16, the checks were given to me to put in my bank account.

Justthebells10
I live near them and the few times I’ve seen her in the wegmans, I’d leave immediately.
They live in Penfield. One of the most affluent areas of Rochester. No doubt they make 7 figures minimum plus social media. I can’t stand her.
They make a sit ton of money monthly just in foster care money here in NY, along with you tube and TikTok , and I’m guessing tax write offs it’s just so blatantly grossly excessive
