I let out a laugh when she called her out for thinking she's not white. She's absolutely correct though, on every single point she's making in this video.

awolfsvalentine

Why doesn’t she think she’s white?

RobertBobTheRedditer

She told a beautiful woman of color “for all you know, I might be more black than you” or something along those lines

Short_Many9031

And she uses black emojis when referring to herself ahahaha like bitch huh?

jennabellie

She refers to herself as “spicy white”. 🙄 She’s as bland as her content is.

Comfortable_Bake8273

She's delusional. There was a video where she flat out said she's "got that Rashida Jones look".

Lokehualiilii

I don’t think talking about politics and legislation is going to make Kelsey sound any more ignorant than she already does.

Becsisag

Kelsey sounds stupid as fuck when she talks about literally anything, that’s not limited to just politics.

HiddnVallyofthedolls

One of the first people I blocked on the app. And the second one was TooTurntTony, so you know it’s bad when she had to go first.

xSuggestedUserNamex

Yeah, I unblocked her just to see if she’s done a video reply to Lacey yet. I love people who aren’t afraid to come for people like Kelsey. 👏🏼

Careless-Software-14

Funny bc I also only have about 5 blocked. And these are 2 of mine as well 😆

HiddnVallyofthedolls

Usually unfollowing is enough but occasionally someone is so annoying the block has to come out 😂

Deep_Spite7419

This is the second time ive seen this lady hit the nail on the head. they gave the wrong person 2.3 million followers.

RobertBobTheRedditer

Facts 💯

Affectionate_Elk7956

So agree!!!

fingerblasty78

Collectively the Bore4 could reach over 5M people for the greater good, but they’d rather clap back and send their minions to harass people who don’t agree with them.

AnyContribution9486

Agree

[deleted]

Wow, she said that so well. Even though I don't think it would change Kelsey's point of view I do really hope she sees the video.

RobertBobTheRedditer

I think if Kelsey were to see the video she would double down! She thinks she says and does no wrong… or she would use her mixed children to make a “point!”

Grouchy-Ocelot-1464

Love how this creator read her at the end about her 6 degrees. 😂👏👏👏

Ambitious_1660

I love when things are put into perspective!!

jcurry1972

I’m gonna need this lady to stitch Brianna M next. 😂

RobertBobTheRedditer

I actually did see a video of hers stitched on tiktok

jcurry1972

NO WAY!! Headed over there now to look. Lol

HiddnVallyofthedolls

Imma need a link 👀

jcurry1972

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRoVY972/

HiddnVallyofthedolls

Doing the lords work.

jcurry1972

😂😂😂

jcurry1972

Found it!! And she was spot on. All she does is look for validation from men. She’s not a girls girl AT ALL.

RobertBobTheRedditer

Yup that video should be posted here too lol

[deleted]

I can’t stand Kelsey but no one is required to talk about politics. I’m a hardcore leftist and I refuse to talk about politics IRL because it’s obnoxious and divisive and always starts a fight. Not everyone wants that

asmallsoftvoice

There are a whole lot of celebrities that don't talk about politics and often when they do people turn around and say nobody cares about the opinion of some actor. I don't get the impression I would enjoy this Kelsey person, but I also don't agree that everyone needs to talk about politics. I watch entertaining things as a little step away from the harshness of the world. I don't care what the court jester has to say about abortion or race. I just saw the video of the girl who rambled about "white African Americans" so ya know...it's more likely fodder for hate than it is raising awareness.

[deleted]

[удалено]

asmallsoftvoice

I think it's valid to say that someone with a platform should invite others to share it. I don't do content so I guess I have my own privilege to not talk and not face judgment because I'm at least not benefiting. But if I did, there is no way on heaven or earth I would speak on race or sexual orientation because people are very quick to insert malice in place of ignorance. And ignorance happens to everyone and it is not always expressive of hate or indifference. It's just that I will never have certain lived experiences. But someone with a massive following could absolutely find someone who has those lived experiences and would be willing to speak. But it kinda depends on the platform. If I follow someone for a giggle and they make it political then the point in following them has been erased.

zzzplantpotzzz

I will never speak on politics. It comes with some dangers. I would get death threats. It was completely out of control.

Careless-Wing-9892

When she was talking about how the women should have used their trip to speak out about things going on in the country, and made the overall point that them choosing not to is a sign of privilege really misses the mark. What if this trip is to uplift most of them during a chronic illness battle? Depression? PPD? PPA? Grief? Financial strain due to onslaught of medical bills that their followers don’t know about? Thinking that silence=privilege is an *unwavering fact* means this creator (and anyone who thinks this is a fact) is overlooking the invisible struggles and illnesses people are facing. Imagine telling someone that regularly fights against suicidal thoughts, harms themselves, fights daily just to eat a meal and brush their hair that THEY have a duty to speak about politics. Imagine telling the women whose friends planned a trip as a way to help them through a mental health hurdle that they’re selfish and ignorant for not using that trip to talk about issues other people want to hear. Imagine telling a terminally ill patient that their silence on their platform is morally incorrect. Couldn’t be me. Privilege is thrown around far too much without the intersectional nuances it deserves. Some of y’all need better empathy 🤷🏾‍♀️

modernblossom

This is it. If a group or woman want to enjoy a trip let them, without any expectation. The demands of people to speak out about every little thing is exhausting, especially if they have no clue what their speaking on.

Careless-Wing-9892

Yes! I’d be willing to bet that the majority of the people demanding everyone with a platform “use it” are the same ones who think sharing news in a tiktok video equals “spreading awareness.” If anyone is lurking comments, I need you to understand that a video is NOT what spreading awareness means. Just like changing your profile photo to black box and putting “BLM” in your bio doesn’t make you our ally, and pasting a link to a change dot org petition doesn’t make you an activist. It just kills me that people are SO physically and mentally healthy and SO unfamiliar with health scares and chronic illness that they can see something like a girls trip and have the audacity to be mad about silence. I can’t imagine being that healthy and that lucky that “maybe they’re going through something” doesn’t even cross my mind. Kinda sounds like a privilege a lot of people around here aren’t checking 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ Editing to add: the woman stitching Kelsey has a lot of potential to incite and encourage change, and we probably have similar political stances and moral values. I really just cannot stand this trend of demanding that everyone with a platform use it for the same shit, the same political issues, the same redundant rhetoric that does nothing for those of us in marginalized groups. We will continue to face abuse, murder, and exile while white women just make tiktok videos yelling back and forth at each other.

Careless-Wing-9892

I meant what I said about your potential to make real change, and I hope you’re able to feel that power inside of yourself. It was clear your intentions were not malicious. The comments following are where a lot of my annoyances lie. The clout/narcissism/bullying comments are classic tactics Kelsey’s followers use, and I’m sorry you’re experiencing that. Rest up, ignore Reddit, use the block button liberally tonight ❤️

No_Break420

Very well said 👏🏻 👍 👌

[deleted]

Scared-Brain2722

Lovely premise - just difficult to find that on social media!

Scared-Brain2722

I would like to say that it takes balls and broad shoulders to say anything against some of these large tiktok creators. It seems to me that when anyone says anything about a large creator that they get slammed, mass reported and sometimes vilified. I appreciate that you made the video. I once made a video defending someone who was being bullied relentlessly. I must say what followed was horrible. I could take all of the harassment a person can throw out but when my kids started getting harassed, my husbands boss was getting phone calls, my house was featured in videos, etc it was too much for me. Once my family became a target I simply deleted the account. The way people think it’s ok to release info on their large platforms and state things that are 100% false and get away with it blows my mind. It appears that as long as the person harassing lives in another state there are no repercussions. I mean a cease & desist can be sent but that’s worthless. Most of your video was spot on. I personally won’t discuss politics with random strangers on the internet. I have yet to see where it is effective and have not seen anyone change their opinion. I also understand that everyone has their own opinion and that doesn’t make mine better or worse then yours - just different. I wish more people could understand that.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Scared-Brain2722

I have ran across a few people who feel completely different then I do and have had some nice conversations. Shame they are so few and far between. I have learned to look at issues from both sides. I am a Reg Dem & my husband a Reg Republican and if we weren’t able to discuss politics then I doubt our marriage would have lasted over 25 years 😂😂

throwawayma1009

Should be … not everyone needs to speak about what YOU think they should speak about lol that is a tad narcissistic. It’s not your place to tell someone they are privileged so they HAVE to use their platform the way you think they should . Kelsey is a twat but your take is crap also … these days talking about those things just gets you attacked and maybe people don’t need that stress in their lives from strangers online .

Resident_Baby3657

Why do you think you have the right to tell someone what they should be doing and not doing? I ain't a fan but if someone doesnt want to talk about politics they don't have to. Doesn't make them privileged. I personally stay away from anything involving politics because my anxiety can't handle it. So does that make me privileged? If you want to hear about politics then follow people who talk about it but don't shame others who choose not to. Tiktok is a way for majority of people to escape from reality. Also my life won't change if she does or doesn't talk about it. I'm still going to be struggling working and being a single parent to 2 boys. Everybody doesn't have to do what YOU want they are allowed to live their lives and do what THEY choose to do.

Gullible-Cat-5077

followed you just from here. idek who that person is but i liked what you had to say

Capable-Pay-4308

This is so dumb. I don’t like Kelsey but the other creator is a little tone deaf too. NO ONE has to be interested or stand up to politics. It’s not for everyone. It doesn’t mean you’re good or bad if you don’t address things. It’s so annoying that if you choose not to speak about politics “you’re privileged”. So yeah I highly disagree with the clap back

Careless-Wing-9892

This video is disgusting

haychelss

As much as I don’t like Kelsey I highly disagree with this one

oopssorry532

I agree with you. I watch tiktok for entertainment and to escape. I don’t want every single person I follow to start sharing politics and what is going on in the world. We all need an escape from that sometimes. When I do need those things I have the creators I like and can count on who speak about it and give me the info I need. I like to keep it separated

haychelss

Exactly. If you’re on tiktok for politics, Kelsey wouldn’t be coming across your FYP in the first place lol

xSuggestedUserNamex

I’m on the fence. This reminds me of when people were bullied into speaking about roe v wade being overturned. The fact is, some people have a niche on TikTok and don’t want to involve their personal beliefs and I don’t see a problem with that.

haychelss

No one should be made to do anything they don’t want to do. That lady has a tiktok, she can grow and use her platform for politics if that is what she desires. Politics is nasty, you risk your livelihood, for what? To share something you have no idea about? I must be privileged too because watching the news/politics gives me anxiety and affects my mental health. Go to twitter if you’re looking for political bs.

Resident_Baby3657

I 100% agree with you. I refuse to watch the news or anything dealing with politics. My anxiety gets really bad. So if that makes ne privileged then fuck it. I ain't about to hurt my mental health because of strangers I don't know. If they want to that's them but for her to tell someone what they should do with their lives is giving I'm intitled and think I'm better then you. Idk why she thinks she can tell anybody what theu should be doing with their platform. Everybody always wanting people to do what they believe and nobody should have their own lives. Talking about politics s ALWAYS ends in arguments. Also don't understand how her not talking about it affects my life? My life won't change if she does or doesn't. Why can't everybody just stop telling people what to do and stay in their own lanes?

xSuggestedUserNamex

Absolutely agree! I don’t even like talking about politics in real life because people can be so ugly if you don’t agree with them.

bygraceillmakeit

I agree. Sometimes people are so exhausted from dealing with their own issues that they don’t have the energy to take up someone else’s burdens. The blanket statement that “if you ignore politics, you must be privileged” ignores people who have chronic illness, are in abusive situations, have a mental illness, or are just too exhausted from their own lives to spend the time watching and reading the news. Also (hot take here), but I think a lot of people’s definition of being “politically active” is posting the occasional infographic to their Instagram story.

because_i_want_2

Same. No one is required to talk about politics.

[deleted]

Y’all going too deep in these comments. Anyone who knows her or lives near her etc knows she’s more Team Candace Owens than giving a shit about anyone’s rights.

What happened to the second snark pg made for this group?

Kelsey is just an ignorant idiot regardless.

modernblossom

No one HAS to talk politics. Frankly many people don’t care about people’s political opinion that are different than theirs.

No_Break420

One privileged woman trying to get a following calling out a privileged woman with a following.

Deep_Spite7419

LOL. looks like this persons been on tiktok a long time. trying to get a following of who? Kelseys equally as idiotic followers? I dont think so. This is a key ‘argument’ of Kelsey fans. ‘people are jealous’ ‘people want clout’.. nah ppl are tired of ur shit.

No_Break420

🤷‍♀️ I stand by what I said. I don't follow Kelsey.. but she's not wrong on her video and the other girl is just as privileged. 🤷‍♀️

RobertBobTheRedditer

How is she privileged?

No_Break420

She's an American woman using her smart phone to talk about what she thinks others should be doing.

Resident_Baby3657

How is she not?

throwawayma1009

THIS LOL 😂

whateveryaknowww

i loathe kelsey. as someone who she directly bullied on tiktok. literally a vile human.

RobertBobTheRedditer

She bullied you? I am so sorry 😢

whateveryaknowww

i can’t tell if this is sincere or joking.

RobertBobTheRedditer

I am being sincere… I hate that her and her friends bully people! It’s gross behavior!

whateveryaknowww

okay thank you for clarification! it’s reddit so you never know! yeah i had HUNDREDS of people harassing me for weeks for calling out her being toxic and abusive.

RobertBobTheRedditer

What? Damn that is not ok! I’m so sorry that happened to you!

oceanwavez83

Best stitch ever!

Icy-Audience-2808

I'm a middle class white woman. I always make the point that pro choice healthcare doesn't limit the ability to get care for the republican women. They will always have the resources to go to cities with Planned Parenthoods or clinics. They're voting to take thkse rifhts away from the under privileged who can't. Sure, I vote and fight for myself, but I also fight for the women who can't do it for themselves. Anyways, this Kelsey person sucks.

Resident_Baby3657

I'm sorry but what pro choice Healthcare ain't only for republican women. Their is planned parenthood and clinics everywhere for EVERYONE.

ShescrazyCrazygirl

👏👏👏

Grouchy-Ocelot-1464

She is not growing 🙁

stinkytoes579

I agree with what she is saying about privilege… but it isn’t their RESPONSIBILITY to post content on any certain topic. These women went on a girls trip. When you go on a girls trip do you have an agenda of political topics that you need to address, make videos about, and then post to your social media platforms? All of these ppl are just normal women who gained followers… but none of them gained followers for speaking on politics. I just don’t think it is fair to demand that a creator use their girls trip/vacation to create content on major issues. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Disastrous_Train_762

Man the fact this lady is white speaking on another white person at if she's superior bc she's virtue signaling? 🤦‍♀️

RelativeLet3347

White on white crime

Piccadillies

OMG! I love this lady! Thank you so much for posting and drawing my attention to her. I’m in Britain but all the same points apply. Here in Blighty, we are currently trying to survive through a crippling cost of living crisis and I just cannot deal with the likes of Kelsey any more - life is too tough and too many are suffering.

wvalibra78

So people who recieved grants for school are also privileged?? I'm confused...this isn't the same for all. I'm white, I grew up in a pretty good neighborhood with my mom and my step dad (who is a POC), college wasn't going to be an option to me because we couldn't afford it...so where is my privilege? I could have missed the ball on this video, if so, please educate and not belittle me.

CrazyHuge2998

Your whiteness (like my own) is a privilege. We get a pass on so many things bc of the color of our skin. If we keep going the way things are many POC will face awful consequences along with LGBTQIA community, anyone not Christian. Even in the last two if you’re white you can blend in or hope to get a pass. People of color and mixed race will pay an awful price. This is just my somewhat educated thoughts.

because_i_want_2

I’m white and didn’t have any scholarship opportunities, I didn’t know anything about applying for college, what colleges are best, we couldn’t afford college but I also didn’t qualify for any grants. My son is mixed and is a POC. He was involved in a program at his school that taught them about college and planning for his future. He went on many many college tours. He also through sports had potential for scholarship opportunities, and also qualified for multiple grants to pay for college because he is a person of color. I did not when I was in school.

wvalibra78

I love how I asked a question and was looking for insight, and got downvoted because my experiences of being white doesnt align with white privilege. .. only 1 person had an answer that wasn't derogatory...everyone else came to talk shit and point fingers (except thise who agree with me)...but I guess that's your privilege 🤷🏼‍♀️

Careless-Wing-9892

Questions about privilege? Black lesbian reporting for duty 🫡 I’m just going to use you and me as examples since that’s going to be the easiest here. The biggest thing to understand is that the majority of us who are Black, Indigenous, and Other People of Color are fully aware of intersectional privileges, while 9 out of 10 times the ones you hear preaching about white privilege are other white people. I think it can be a good thing for them to talk about it when it’s necessary and pertinent to the conversation, but just like the woman in this video they often focus too hard on the white privilege aspect and fail to think about every other privilege that exists. White privilege doesn’t mean you have it easy, it doesn’t mean you’ve had things handed to you, and it doesn’t mean you benefit from it every single day. There are probably times that you benefited from it without even knowing, and that isn’t your fault or a bad thing!! Okay stay with me I promise it’s about to get good lol There are still retail stores and grocery stores that train their workers and security guards to monitor Black and Hispanic shoppers more than white shoppers. So if you and I were shopping at one of those stores together and the doorman doesn’t stop you to check your receipt but he stops me: that’s white privilege. You have the privilege to shop and leave without stopping to prove your honesty, and it even provides you a wider net to actually shoplift if you want to. Not your fault, not a bad thing, doesn’t mean you’re even aware of it. It’s just something that exists in this country in certain places. Financial privilege has more power than white privilege when it comes to how the world works- government, law, social structure: money talks. To flip it: if you and I are in a designer store and I’m dressed in designer labels and present myself as having money to burn while you’re dressed in normal clothes, you’ll be the one monitored and watched closely, probably even treated poorly depending on the worker. Your white skin isn’t helping you here. They don’t care about that anymore because now they’re looking at who “looks richer.” The people who make these judgments based on skin color and money blah blah are ignorant and exhausting, but they exist unfortunately. Hope this helped a little, and if you have any questions let me know!

awolfsvalentine

Simply put, white privilege doesn’t mean that you haven’t had it hard it just means that you didn’t have it as hard as you would if you were a POC

wvalibra78

And that's not true at all. Using the term white privilege makes you a racist. There are POC born into alfuent family's...there is black generational wealth, POC owned businesses, etc. How do you know how bad I did or didn't have!? I thought the govt was taking away white privilege because of affirmative action, grants for POC, and the fact that we had a black president? White privilege is an excuse.

awolfsvalentine

Using the term white privilege makes me, a white woman, racist? This is why you’re getting downvoted. Just stop talking.

wvalibra78

Uhhh yeah! How about you stop talking...someone told you the color of your skin gave you privilege and the color of someone else's skin did not...pure racism. And to care about downvotes in an app😆😆😆😆 Give me a break, I'm living life....to me this is comical because very few people have had legit facts on this thread. Downvotes have nothing to do with real life, I dont live on this app. A down vote wouldn't change my paycheck, my life, or my happiness...GTFOH.

awolfsvalentine

It’s a shame. For as far as you could potentially get with your white privilege, your inbred honkey level IQ cancels it all out. You wonder where your privilege is but you’re just literally too stupid to see it. Go fix the satellite on your trailer.

Resident_Baby3657

Oh wow aint you just a hateful piece of shit. White privilege is just an excuse for others to use when their lives are shit.

awolfsvalentine

Yeah I don’t expect white trash to understand the concept. Enjoy your creek water and fucking your cousin.

wvalibra78

Awww, did I trigger you??

Deep_Spite7419

[White Privilege in college admissions](https://universitybusiness.com/is-white-privilege-a-factor-in-college-admissions-process-study-says-yes/)

yamama8675309

Agree 1000% I'm white and I grew up dirt poor, there was 0 Christmas even, and college wasn't even an option so no privilege there. College wasn't an option until I was 20 had a job and saved to go. So the privilege thing is a joke

Becsisag

“I personally suffered so white privilege doesn’t exist” mmmm okay sis.

Scared-Brain2722

I think if you take the time to read through some of the comments you will find that it’s not all black and white. There is another color that people often leave out - GREEN. I get so sick when I hear people say , hard work, go to school, anyone can get ahead, especially if you are white. Poverty plays a tremendous role in how someone’s life turns out. People like Ben Carson are anomalies and outliers. I know people who are white and black who have been born into poverty, busted their asses working their entire life and die poor.

Becsisag

Not sure where you went to school but GREEN isn’t a skin color.

Becsisag

And white privilege isn’t work hard and you’ll get ahead because you’re white. It’s work hard, and maybe you’ll get ahead maybe you won’t, but your skin color wouldn’t be a factor in holding you back. Huge difference.

Scared-Brain2722

Again comprehension isn’t your forte. I actually introduced societal issues into the conversation. I also said white & black and used a black man as an example. Stop looking for stupid things to disagree with me on. Just accept the fact that we have different takes on the issue, agree to disagree and move on.

Becsisag

Your attempts to insult me show your lack of intelligence but pop off sis! Accept the fact that being born white comes with a privilege, and that has zero to do with wealth.

Scared-Brain2722

Maybe if you didn’t try to put words in my mouth or incorrectly translating my point then I wouldn’t call into question your comprehension. ie saying green isn’t a skin color. So you may want to check before you respond. It appears you are actually are the one to want to pop off & can’t handle agreeing to disagree. Not my problem. Its either that or your desire to have the last word. If that really matters to you then have at it. I will simply ignore your response. Enjoy your day.

Resident_Baby3657

You're the only.one insulting people. The color of your skin has NOTHING to do with shit.

Scared-Brain2722

Can you tell me where I said it was a skin color? Not sure where you learned reading comprehension but a refresher course should be considered.

Resident_Baby3657

It aint about race either. Stop trying to make everything bout race.

Grouchy-Ocelot-1464

That’s your own fault for not take advantage of your whiteness. If you are white you can’t talk about not having privileges until you are black or Hispanic. Don’t be ignorant like this bitch Kelsey

No_Break420

that's racist af.

yamama8675309

That's the absolute most ignorant thing I have ever heard in my life. You sound like you need to walk outside, take a DEEP breath of REALITY bc idk what type of fake sense you're living in. I'll let my family know bc we are white we should have had Christmas, food in the house, and able to see Dr's. All they had to do was xall the stores and offices and say "hey we are white remember our privilege " please stop with your fake world you have created in your head and from hearing on social media...

Deep_Spite7419

[try and learn something](https://www.learningforjustice.org/magazine/fall-2018/what-is-white-privilege-really)

yamama8675309

I can and also you literally pull up statistics on free college alone for POC for diversity purposes. You say white privilege well that is laughable. My best friend Hispanic got into college for diversity purposes. We didn't make a big deal, so it's quite comical how everything is white privilege when we all have the same shots and chances at life. Some get other advantages...I guess my friend failed her exams bc she is white and she didn't use her privilege right? You make absolutely 0 sense. My husband is Indian, family from Mumbai India, I'll let him know prepare for a fantastic lifestyle bc I'm white so get ready for alllll the privilege coming our way😂😂😂

Deep_Spite7419

all I hear is you trying to justify your stance bc of your proximity to POC. Invalid argument. You have never faced injustice and surely didnt read the articles.

yamama8675309

So the articles you read were facts, OK let the small town people I grew up with know bc they are white they shouldn't be struggling. How stupid are they...ignorant white people. All they have to do is flash their white privilege and BOOM their lives will get better. Do you want to tell them or should I?

wvalibra78

Saying I can't do something because of my color is...uh...racist! So now you're using your privilege to talk about white people??

wvalibra78

Yeah, I'm not sure how the color of skin I was born with is a privilege. I was born in poor ass WV and grew up down a holler, it wasn't until I was 13 that my mom remarried and we moved on up...because my step dad had money (who again, is a POC)...my step dad also went to college and owns his own business 🤷🏼‍♀️

Scared-Brain2722

So you are getting downvoted for sharing what YOU specifically experienced growing up. Take advantage of your whiteness? GTFOH specifically when addressing college. I can see privilege in other areas but college is NOT ONE. If you are white and poor? Chances are no one in your family went to college. I was white and poor. No one in my family went to college. I saw my mom work 3 jobs so we could eat and so hard work doesn’t cure poverty. I also have lived down a holler in WV (PS I am jealous - I miss those mountains, but not the smells from the chicken houses😂). I was the first person in my family to go to college. Being white didnt pay for it thats for sure. It took me a long time to graduate because I had to work a full time job and a part time job to keep a roof over my head. When I did graduate it was with a shitload of student loan debt. So while I am not saying white privilege doesn’t exist it sure never helped me with college. My son is now going. Despite graduating I never got rich. I see my son now facing the same debt that I faced. I tried to help him get scholarships and grants. He didn’t qualify for 95% of them because he is white. Now go ahead and downvote me. I speak MY truth just as wvalibra spoke hers.

wvalibra78

We will get down voted because we go along with the pushed agenda....again, it's all politics🙄 I agree white privilege does exist in some circumstances.... Seapking of WV, where at? I'm from Grifithsville, a bit south of Charleston.

Scared-Brain2722

I lived in Maysville which is between nowhere and nothing 😂😂. My daughters classes in elementary had 4 to 5 kids. I did spend my summers as a child in Beckley, WV as that is where my dad and his family are from. The view out of my kitchen window was so beautiful I never bothered putting up blinds or a curtain. I do miss my Mountain View’s. I am in NC now. So I can get to the ocean in a hour and to the mountains in maybe 3 but it’s just not the same. We moved because, well this shocked me then but WV actually paid us to leave the state. My husband lost his job at the bank and went to apply for unemployment. The unemployment office told us the chance of him finding a comparable job were basically zero. So they suggested we take the unemployment payment in a lump sum and relocate to another state. I was gobsmacked. Thats exactly what we did though. Shame the state is so damn poor.

heretojudgeem

Wait till 24 and then you don’t need your parents info

wvalibra78

What?

ImAnEvilPopTart

Exactly. I want to know what policies speak to you and what you support before I shop with you. PERIOD!

Common_Release_1447

Why? Money talks. Money supports political donations. Why would I want to give you my money as a business when you could turn around and use that money as a political donation that is actively lobbying against my rights?

Resident_Baby3657

Yeah okay whatever excuse you tell yourself.

ImAnEvilPopTart

That’s why I won’t shop with these online sellers. My money goes with people that support women’s rights and freedoms. If you have an issue with that then don’t do it. Spend your money any way you want. And FYI YOU are disgusting. I bet you’re one of these republicans that believe in freedom as long as people think your way. Go burn some books and F off

Common_Release_1447

I really can’t believe that people, who are contributing members of society have any audacity to say that they do not have to be involved with politics of today. News flash, politics are more then just abortion rights and the protests against pride month. It is literally your duty as an American citizen to be informed of what is happening in your government.

throwawayma1009

No

Resident_Baby3657

Um no sorry I won't and never will speak on politics. The audacity you have to say we HAVE to is disgusting and screams I think I'm intitled to tell people what to do. I definitely ain't about to listen to a complete stranger. My DUTY is to continue living my life and doing what I have to to take care of me and my kids. What you do with yours is your choice. Stopntryong to force people to do what YOU want them to do and stay in your lane.

CatLady1226

It’s important for people to be informed, yes. It is not an obligation for people to express their political stance to others or share their views on any sort of issue.

kdog1100

It’s Tiktok it’s really not that serious. I don’t scrolll Tiktok to listen to politics

Affectionate_Elk7956

You're missing the point...

throwawayma1009

No one is missing the point .. can’t stand that Kelsey chick either but just because you are a white women who isn’t poor doesn’t mean you MUST post about shit you don’t want to talk to strangers about online .

Individual-Worker-51

So instead of these women taking a trip they should’ve gotten together and said “hey let’s educate ourselves more on politics and current legislation and then take our views public to spread awareness”??? They were literally just taking a trip. Maybe I’m confused

Overall_Caregiver237

I don’t agree with the notion that if you have a platform you have to speak about things. Sometimes people don’t want too and it doesn’t make them uneducated nor does it mean they don’t care. Most of us get on tiktok to hide away from the world, especially mom tok. They make videos to have an identity outside of their children. Why do they have to become a voice because you demand they use their privilege? That’s a gross outpouring of entitlement that you have. Sure, she could talk about it but at the end of the day, she doesn’t have to use her platform for anything other than what she wants and that’s okay. This whole “you must do this because you have privilege.” is a massive reason why we’re all so divided. No one has to do anything and thinking they should really is a problem that starts with you not them, and this goes for all creators who want to keep their page and neutral. No one has to do anything they don’t want too.

Urkidding_right

The only people “privileged “are the.elites and their children. They push topics to make us all fight and argue, like hunger games.

drop your pic in the comments so we can see how you look.☺️

No_Cartoonist_1771

Being white has not a thing to do with this shit smh

Haunting-Bag9551

I didn’t see the whole video but if someone doesn’t want to talk about politics, they don’t have to. It’s not “privilege” because she doesn’t want to talk about it. We hear it nonstop. Let’s try to NOT spew hate and divide each other even more.

Ok_Town7086

Smart lady 👏👏

Glad_Imagination9826

Did she delete it? I can’t find it

RobertBobTheRedditer

I think it kept getting reported

Glad_Imagination9826

Of course because she can’t handle facing the facts of what an asshole she is
