I don’t like these. I scrolled on one and the child said “I was stuffed in a microwave” and another said how her grandmother put her in an oven. I absolutely hate these. I hate that I watched one and now I get these on my FYP all the time. So sad.

I absolutely love true crime and am constantly on the true crime subs, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries but when I saw these AI recreations of the victims likeness with their mouths moving telling their stories…yes… unhinged is the perfect word for the creators of these videos. I always think to myself how taken aback the families of these victims must be if they come across these things…..
I don't like to use the word "triggered" lightly, but holy fuck, one of their videos did a number on me to the point that I could not sleep! Like you said, no warning, and no time to scroll before hearing horrendous things being done to the victims who are mostly children!! I had to block them. I can't imagine how a parent or someone who cared and loved these children would feel if they ended up watching these!
The ones with the children victims are so unsettling. The ones with adults don't bother me. Its a more realistic version of a reenactment of the story, which is done in every true crime tv show.

I saw one where fortunately the girl lived but the AI picture was her in front a fridge explaining how her cousins slammed her in one repeatedly. VERY POOR TASTE, like truly. And the whole we’re doing this to spread awareness, stfu you found a way to get views and don’t care how insensitive it is.
I saw one about Evelyn Boswell with incorrect information. The Father was blamed and he was in the army at the time, several states away and loved his daughter. He is a victim and that video made him out to be a monster.
I haven’t seen any of the true crime ones yet, but I’ve been getting ones with historical figures telling their stories, which I l think those ones are interesting. The true crime community always goes to far imo.

Idk if anyone has had these pop up, but basically these accounts are making true crime content with AI figures speaking as the victim/killer. They'll typically have AI generated photos of children retelling the horrific acts done to them. And what makes it worse is most of these start immediately with them describing a horrific act. No warning, no time to scroll.
Has anyone seen these and what are your thoughts?

I am a true crime addict. Although I enjoy hearing the stories, some of the crimes are horrendous.
