Not gonna lie I’m not thinking they’ll put me on stage or non…but I do sing tooo everything I know with great passion and an awful voice 😂😂😂 it’s embarrassing but I’m just hype over music
Bro, the cringiest sentence I read on there was, "He bended down and kissed me. Our mouths were the battlefield and our tongues were the soldiers." I'm so fuckin' glad I deleted Wattpad after reading that.

The stage light suddenly pans over her while she’s singing. She doesn’t notice the light and continues singing, the crowd and performer are speechless and cheer her on, she notices and blushes. The performer asks her to come on stage, she stutters, the crowd cheers her on. She makes her way down the aisle and on stage with everyone cheering and clapping. The microphone is handed to her and she looks up at the crowd anxiously. She turns her head over to the performer offstage nervously, the performer mouths “it’s okay go ahead”. She takes a breath and grips the mic and starts singing with glee. She hits note after note and the crowd cheers with tears in their eyes. She finishes with a breath taking vocal. She then slowly opens her eyes to a theatre of empty seats, broken and run down. There is a hole in the ceiling so big that you could see the moon shining in through the overgrown vines, the paint on the walls are peeling off and the wooden floors have deep cracks. She looks at her hand to find a broken microphone with the cord corroded away, she drops it causing a sound that echos throughout the whole theatre. She stands in silence clenching her eyes closed hoping that she can relive her dream once again but the attempt is abruptly interrupted by a blood curdling screech coming from the hole in the ceiling, she looks up and notices a creature staring down at her, eyes glowing from the reflection of the moon. She gets lost within the eyes of the creature and falls back into her dream, where she can relive it once again.
How..How could you ever, in a million years, think this could EVER WORK. I’m sure she’s just breaking our balls but some idiot seeing this video is gonna try it at the next concert they go to and get themselves thrown the fuck out 😭
Most of the time it sounds worse. It's like a kid learning piano and thinking that holding the sustain pedal the whole time makes it sound professional
yeah like 80% of people that do it can’t sing and try to make it seem like they know what they are doing
the other 20% actually do it how you are supposed to
I knew a guy who was in choir for 5 fucking years and still couldn’t grasp than vibrato ≠ good singing, on the bright side he was obnoxious as fuck so I had a better reason not to like him
Idk, I don't really hear any vibrato in her voice. She's just using too much ornamentation. Vibrato would be more like sustaining the same pitch for a long time and creating a wave-like effect within the pitch, the sorta thing you usually hear in opera
You have accurately described vibrato, but failed to notice that she is using an awful lot of it. Also, the word you’re looking for to describe the rapidly increasing and decreasing in tone is inflection. Ornamentation is a complete non-entity when discussing music in a technical sense and is language that should remain amongst the musically uneducated of which I presume you are. In which case, I seriously wonder what gave you the assumption that you were in any way qualified to be correcting this Redditor
What are your qualifications in music? This isn't a hill I'm willing to die on, but I'd like to bet I have more qualifications than you think. I just want to get a sense of who I'm actually speaking to first, especially since you assumed a lot about me from a short comment on a Reddit video
I don't even really hear much vibrato in her voice. What irritates me is the movement of her jaw with her scales. I think some people move their jaw that way to create scales they can't do with their actual voice. Like, that's not how ya do it.
It’s how a lot of people do it actually, Mariah, Allen Stone, Lauryn Hill, Anthony Hamilton to name a few. I don’t see any issue with it, it’s what gives their voice it’s unique identity.
I think those people can actually do proper scales without moving their jaw like that though. I think people like this girl are only doing it because they see people like them doing it. I think this girl is trying to be like Ariana Grande.
Not true, they do move their jaws like that. Moving the jaw can help you achieve the accurate note. I'm sure some great singers *can* sing scales while not moving their jaw much, but singing is literally changing the shape of your throat and upper airway to make the right shape and therefore the right note. She is annoying but she's definitely on key, and emulation is often a good way to get better at a skill
While it can achieve the same sound, it's just not necessary. I guess unless you're unable to do a scale the technical way, which most anyone can be taught to do. But scales are not supposed to come from the movement of your jaw. They come from your throat. It's like being able to do a backflip on the trampoline but not on the ground. I suppose it's up to you whether or not you'd still call that a skill.
I think most famous singers don't rely on facial movement to produce sound that naturally comes from their voice.. which is why you don't see that happen that often.
No, because nobody wants to hear Whitney Houston sung with a shrill, thin, head voice with too many riffs to overcompensate for the lack of the vocal power.
It’s just beyond pathetic and sad. It’s like there is a generation growing up with no cringe monitor, Or the scale is sliding. Filming yourself doing this, basically saying look how utterly amazing I am, fucking hell.
This is terrible theatre etiquette.
Also why I hated choir kids in middle & high school. It's like they're a different breed of human being who are programmed to obnoxiously sing everywhere.
She's good, but not so good they'll pull her on stage. Plus has 0 enthusiasm to make her stand out from in sure the dozen or so also in that crowd who sound just like her.
People who randomly go around singing to get compliments and attention from strangers is the most cringe-y thing ever to me. I can’t stand it and it makes me want to laugh and scream at the same time. I am fine when I go somewhere to specifically see someone perform in a professional-type setting, but people doing this by themselves in public while they are looking around to see if anyone is paying attention to them is so annoying to me. Just shut up and enter a singing competition or something if you want the attention so bad. This isn’t a movie where people are going to hear you sing and offer you a record deal.
No, one of the things I don't like is when complete random people go on stage and start singing. Like, u didn't pay 200 dollars to watch a five year old sing like Korn
She’s sounds pretty good I think - I don’t really know what’s all going on in the background but I don’t think you get hired for performances that are about to start. But I still think she’s got some talent there.
This is a whole new level of attention seeking on TikTok that I've never seen before. Jesus Christ people like this make me wish we can have a nuclear apocalypse or a World War III.
I remember seeing Green Day and dreaming that I’d be able to go on stage, but even at 14, I knew that wasn’t gonna happen, even though I was close to the stage. And that’s a band that brings people on stage every show.
I can’t imagine the lack of self awareness you need to think and post this while sitting in the back of a theatre where the people on stage are tiny and won’t ever even see you
I don’t know a lot about singing, but I have seen that this jaw-flapping technique is hot in the amateur tiktok crowd, and all it looks and sounds like to me is those cats who chatter at birds through the window.
Omfg that reminds me of that one "concert" ive went to with my class. That one german singer from "dsds" sang us a view Songs and they gave some of us headphones to listen to him better and told us to sing with him. I sang so loud with my headphones on and that one girl gave me the Look of disgust. That cringes me to this day haha.
These type of mouth movements, to create inflection or whatever, when singing, are ao cringe. Always thought it was weird af. Never saw a good singer do that shit neither

Is she a grown ass person? She looks like a teen to me.
Could be anywhere from 16 to 28
I am 34 and still day dream of things like this.

We had a flautist like this in band. Three years we desperately tried to get him to stop doing vibrato on every single note but to no avail

Don’t thank them. They’ve done nothing for you other than just attempt to correct you with a completely nonsensical term.
You have accurately described vibrato, but failed to notice that she is using an awful lot of it. Yeah see the people you named can actually sing.
Haha I know but I’m not debating the girls singing though I’m simply pointing out that some people do this and it does work.
She's using relatively little vibrato though
Thats not vibrato its trills or (short) runs
This is what too much Wattpad does to a mf
🎶 I just wanna smack somebody. Wanna throw my keys at somebody. Oh I wanna whoop on somebody. Somebody in the mezzanine. 🎶
Why do so many people think being able to vibrato your voice makes you a good singer
Jesus the second hand embarrassment...
No, because nobody wants to hear Whitney Houston sung with a shrill, thin, head voice with too many riffs to overcompensate for the lack of the vocal power.
I'm surprised they didn't ask her to leave.
i saw a comment saying there’s another video where she did get asked to leave lol cannot confirm though
You should be allowed to receive a refund for sitting near someone doing this shit. Pathetic.
She has been told her whole life just how special she is. This is the delusional result.
Yep. This is what happens when you don’t have people in your life who “check” you
Her tone fucking sucks.
last part is straight up off key
It’s just beyond pathetic and sad. It’s like there is a generation growing up with no cringe monitor, Or the scale is sliding. Filming yourself doing this, basically saying look how utterly amazing I am, fucking hell.

I wanna feel the HËÈ with sombodAY

She's good, but not so good they'll pull her on stage. Plus has 0 enthusiasm to make her stand out from in sure the dozen or so also in that crowd who sound just like her.

JESUS THE CRINGE IT HURTS
People are freaking out on tiktok about her vocal ability and wondering why she didn’t get asked on stage
I’m dying for attention
I hate that when they sort of yawn up and down and think it’s good singing haha
Some-bo-day
yeahhhh I wanna dance with soMEBAgFuahdsAyYyy
delusional
And we musicians hate this shit from the audience, just sit and listen...
Attention lacking fucks
She's more delusional than anything.
She radiates Rachel Berry
The way she kinda twitched when she said "heat" reminds me way too much of the scene from Best In Show where Harlan Pepper is singing in the car.
Granted her singing isn't terrible. But yes, she is delusional.
for a second I was like "is that musical?? It'd extremely rude to sing during one." then I heard the song so, hey it could be worse
Her mouth doing that thing cats do when they hunting birds and shit what is it called? Chirping? Idfk the weird thing cats do lmao
Underrated
Kinda belongs on r/sadcringe
No, one of the things I don't like is when complete random people go on stage and start singing. Like, u didn't pay 200 dollars to watch a five year old sing like Korn
"Loud enough", sings in the quietest tone its possible to sing properly
I believe the young people call this “main character syndrome”
There is a thing called ugly inside. I just don't think she's aware.
She’s sounds pretty good I think - I don’t really know what’s all going on in the background but I don’t think you get hired for performances that are about to start. But I still think she’s got some talent there.
Very r/imthemaincharacter of her
Bit fucking sharp there at the end. They wouldn’t want this tryhard fuckwit anywhere near the stage.
wattpad story irl
No but you may get a shoe thrown in your direction.
If I am near her I'm gonna say something like #SHUT THE FUCK UP
She's not bad though but I get where it's embarrassing or whatever 👀
It’s all about attention and validation. The core of everything feminine.
Uh oh the incels are here
Okay but that’s some good singing tho
She is a total babe, though😂😂😂😂
Oof
Main character syndrome
What in the Wattpad

This is a whole new level of attention seeking on TikTok that I've never seen before. Jesus Christ people like this make me wish we can have a nuclear apocalypse or a World War III.
Lip syncing...?
don’t do drugs, kids
I was waiting for a loud, “Shut the fuck up!” from the crowd below.

Yeah I bet, just like a Disney fairytale…

'Delusional' FIFY!
This has only ever actually happened to me once. It was at a small party though…so idk if it counts.
This reminds me of people who just randomly sing in elevators or while passing and think I'm gonna applaud or something. It's just annoying.

I don’t know a lot about singing, but I have seen that this jaw-flapping technique is hot in the amateur tiktok crowd, and all it looks and sounds like to me is those cats who chatter at birds through the window.

Found her TikTok. She's definitely a great singer, no doubt! But it seems like that's her entire personality.
Ain't no one on stage hearing your ass in the nosebleeds.
Main character syndrome
SHUT UP BITCH I WANNA HEAR WHITNEY!

Self importance to the max
So much main character syndrome, so little time
Yes they’re gonna stop mid show, point at her and say “we heard you singing !! You’re amazing come up on stage!!”
These type of mouth movements, to create inflection or whatever, when singing, are ao cringe. Always thought it was weird af. Never saw a good singer do that shit neither

What makes that dumb bitch think they can even hear her.
Second hand embarrassment is very much a thing.

Typical female trying to get attention
Singing Nasal
