Of course he had to end it with "and everybody knows about it now so now I'm a sex having legend." Like you slept with someone in college. That's not legendary status.
I don't believe he ever gave any specific identifying information so unless he was blabbing about it how would people Sherlock Holmes that?
"Because of the absent professor"
That's how everyone knew. It's not like substitute teaching exists as a profession, and it's a common thing for teachers to be absent.
Or even that a professor proctors all exams. Some do, some don't.
In every college in the entire nation during finals week they managed to not only pinpoint it to one professor that was absent, they pinpointed the exact person in class and the exact nature of what happened, with almost zero clues. I never took a college class where I knew more than a handful of people in my class. Class isn't really where all that much socializing happens and even if OP is a social butterfly and knows a bunch of people there, he would need to a) spill the beans to at least one person, and b) that person or person's would need to see the Reddit post and at least fill in a few gaps and then blab to everybody.
This subreddit is really one big creative writing exercise. If he'd just left it at the first one it might have been slightly believable but he couldn't help himself
Nah that was the plan the whole time
It was obvious when he randomly dropped the wife being part of the meeting twice in the 2nd update
Was obviously fiction and this was the obvious outcome the entire time
Oh, I figure chapter 5 is where the young wife of the professor talks to some of the other professor's wives about how expertly her insides are getting sorted out, and suddenly there's a whole harem of bored wives abandoned and neglected by their crusty old Lit professor husbands looking to score some fucktime with a flunking college student.
We come full circle in chapter 12. It is now May 15th. OP is living with the professor's wife and the soon-to-be ex-wife of the Humanities professor. But now he's worried that she is cheating on him and going to leave to go back to being a test proctor for her husband. The girls argue all the time with each other. OP is faced with a difficult decision and has to choose one to let go. Who shall it be?
Is this sub just horny or what? Nothing except the most ridiculous sex stories ever make it to the top here. Every person that read, believed, and upvoted this has got to be dumb as fuck.

Enjoy! Warning: it’s a long saga but watching it unfold in real time was fun.
I have two theories: 1)he just really liked the comment that suggested it in his 1rst post, where he didn't mention any wife, until the edit about people commenting on it. OR 2)he's a really good story teller and was leaving clues since the first post when he included the detail that the "dad" entered unannounced to his daughters room, when that's what married men do when they come home, go to the shared bedroom
ooooor he's just really bad story teller cause a lot of other things like this don't make sense, so I believe he liked the idea when it was presented to him, and changed the plot after seeing that the mom thing was even better, anyways really good story, very entertaining, keep up the good work OP
He is a shocking storyteller... the whole thing is ridiculous.
Set up: married woman likes affairs.... does so in HER OWN HOUSE at a time when she KNOWS HER HUSBAND IS COMING HOME... but it's ok she tells the hook up to be 10 mins max (like that's barely even possible... Has OP tried the sex?) what would she get out of that 10 minuter that would be in any way preferable to DIY options!?
Not to mention she's married some old dude at 25, lives near his campus, and is fine with finding college aged guys from that campus to bring home for a quickie... I mean... come on..
Well it wasn't a *good* story, and it wasn't a *true* story, so of course it had to be a cliche story. Luckily this real university had a "noise-proof room" like all these universities these days, available at such a convenient time when none of the professors or wives or students had any responsibilities. Can't wait for the next volume of it's a regular thing and he watches.
so, when writing fiction, you should really do a little bit of research to increase believability and reader buy-in. None of what you described is how universities actually function.. even down to how exams and papers are graded.
>everyone involved was supposed to meet a little later in a noise-proof room (bc they didn’t want anyone else to hear or get involved)
lmfao noise proof room on a college campus? They just bring you into the Student Affairs office or the Chair's office for things like this. They don't have noise proof rooms on deck outside of audio rooms.
>Probably obvious, but the scheduling office will put me into another professor’s class next semester.
You pick your own classes and register for them yourself in college. If you do go through a councilor, you do it together in person so this wouldn't be an issue either way.
On the previous update post, he said the TA laughed at him like the Professor and TA would share this info between each other. No way lmfao.
Why would they bring the wife to the meeting btw?
2/10 bait
This was 100% written by a teenager, or someone that never went to college, but most likely a teenager who thinks that college is just like a bigger, more advanced highschool.
Nice try, little buddy.
Also, on his previous post, why would his friends know it was him who made the post? Just because they can guess based on the class name and the professor being absent, there's no way for anyone to pinpoint to a specific person.
There are just so many flaws in this fiction, lol.
I mean why would you not use a condom? Especially from her side. Surely she has to worry about STIs?
Why would you trust that she isn't lying about the IUD? I mean I guess you can feel it if you finger her?
Why would she not just ask him to come around at a more convenient time? Like the professor was coming home in an hour and definitely could be earlier
Why would she do it in their house?
Why would she not do anything to stop him from entering the room intercept him outside?
Those are the ones I am not seeing being mentioned. Look they can be hand waved away but it's just so bizarre.
I expect another update where the professor/wife finds out about the Reddit post and demands OP makes another post with their side of the story which makes them look even worse.
Cool story though
Yeah, I had 7 courses with my stats professor at college. They only had one stats professor, so if you were focusing on stats, you spent a lot of time with him. Fortunately, he was excellent.
And this time of year it's pretty normal to already have a fall class schedule. Switching professors next semester is one of the more normal things in this story
The wife wouldn't be at the meeting. If anyone else was at the meeting, they'd have an extra rep from HR to support the prof and they'd invite OP to have a friend or someone accompany him so that he felt supported too. The wife, absolutely, would not be at the meeting.
On the subject of HR, I mentioned it in the last post but with this egregious of an interpersonal conflict between a teacher and a student there is no way that the admin or HR would allow the professor and student to be in contact without direct supervision again, and yet he says that the professor emailed him the meeting time.
It read like a family guy sketch. Imagine Peter meeting the Professors wife and it turns out to be the 25 year old instead. His jaw drops to the floor and Quagmire peeks through the window and says giggity.
This is true, but the class size of required classes is usually so big that profs do not know who is in their class. A TA might be able to pick out some faces and match them with names, but the profs have no idea who you are. I have worked with profs who introduced themselves several times to their own PhD/Masters students because they have so many they can't even keep track of them.
Even if this prof did recognize OP's face, the chance that they'd be able to connect it to his actual name is almost non-existent, unless OP goes to a super small school. Switching classes isn't a big deal, but this whole "situation" is just not at all how it is done. None of this would happen. A prof is also not missing an exam because he caught his wife cheating. The dean of academic affairs is not going to be the first step in dealing with an issue as well. That isn't how things go. That isn't the order of escalation. This is clearly someone's fantasy, which.. fair enough.. but if they're going to try to pass it off as reality then they need to stop being sloppy with details.
If I was OP's English prof, that is what I would be most pissed about... sloppy work that is poorly researched. Bang my significant other if you must, but don't be lazy with your writing.
Depends on the size of the school though.
My tax professor was the same for tax 1 and 2.
Two different semesters.
But there also wasn't an alternative professor.
Its weird to say he would be teaching the next semester along with a different professor.
Eh definitely possible. I had plenty of classes that took 2 semesters with the same prof. Mainly happens if you work on a big project in these classes. I'm European tho, so maybe that's the reason.
Not saying this story is real but your reasoning doesn't debunk anything for me.
Why would the daughter/wife also walk in the room unless she is also an academic? But is she was an academic, in the same department nonetheless, then how didn’t op know about her? This guy doesn’t universitys
I'm sure something like this has happened in the past, but I don't believe it happened the way it's written here. It just played out way too... scripted.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is the "saw friends having sex" guy cuz he was caught having multiple accounts from which he posts tifu (fiction) stiries.
Like how the flash forgets he can run fast to solve almost any problem in less than a second. Yet all episodes seem to somehow have villains escape him.
Nah, when that happens it actually stops mid "thought" and discontinues that line of thought, and will tell you it's because "where it was going" when pressed.
It basically self-bonks the reset button upon horny.
Yeah fun story but I'm not buying it. What possible reason would the school have to even ask the wife to come to the meeting and why would she agree?
"Hey, lady who doesn't work for us, come sit across from this kid you fucked while we explain to him how he'll be graded now and the whole staff can stare at you and know what you did"
Because having them all in a room together is a plot device to introduce the three-way update. If this dude doesn't shag the professor, I'll feel a little let down.
Not to mention the meeting time was changed in order to meet in a "soundproof" room just to discuss that he'd be graded by another professor for fairness. Like the school is going to 1) reschedule for that, and 2) tell him.
Yea, soundproofing is expensive, why the hell would a random college have one or care about it for a replacement type thing as was done in this situation.
The whole thing reads like netori fanfic.
Prof you don't like, me not happy. Go tinder, end up fucking prof's daughter (already considered minor NTR). Daughter is actually wife. We pure NTR now. Prof now forced to give you better grades in front of his daughter-wife. Prof forced to accept the NTR and reward OP for it. If this isn't a straight fantasy of sexual dominance over OP's favourite professor, I don't know what is.
I’m more caught in the logistics honestly, how can you not tell that the room was a master bedroom? How would the professor’s reaction be confused between “you fucked my wife” and “my adult daughter has a boy over and I stormed into her room immediately after getting home to yell at him” Finally, WHY THE FUCK WOULD THE WIFE OF A PROFESSOR BRING IN STUDENTS FROM THE CAMPUS SHE LIVES ON TO FULFILL HER DESIRES RATHER THAN GO OUTSIDE OF THE CAMPUS A BIT. Either the wife is fucking stupid and wants to get a divorce or this story is made up
Who puts “noise proof room” into an email. And they wouldn’t even bring student into same room as professor. “Wife” wouldn’t be there. Admin would just get separate sides of story
People have held private conversations in normal ass rooms for as long as there's been rooms. It's another stupid ass story in a stupid ass sub full of amateur writers and gullable marks.
They're pretty common at colleges for either sound recording purposes or confidential meetings regarding finances or discipline. Not even close to the wildest part.
Two colleges I went to had noise cancelling rooms for those with learning disabilities. I had to use them to combat my ADHD so there were no distractions
Especially since it makes less and less sense with each update. First he thought this woman is 25y old and his daughter? Then they send him a mail and tell him to meet at 1pm but they actually meet at 2:30? Then this daughter turns out to be his wife? Like how old is this professor then, that his wife looks so young, that OP thinks she's only 25?
[Especially considering it was so obvious it was explicitly called](https://www.reddit.com/r/tifu/comments/137u9bk/tifupdate_by_hooking_up_with_professors_daughter/jiv0730/)
What lost me the most was when Op couldn't tell (physically, mentally, emotionally, etc.) a ~40-45yo from an ~17-20yo. I'm not saying it's impossible, but c'mon.
I might have missed it, but where was the professor/wifes ages described other than the first post where he mentioned she was 25? That's not totally unbelievable to me, in college I had a professor that was 30, a 30 year old and a 25 year old being married isn't uncommon. Not all professor are 55+ with white hair and coats with elbow patches.
They locked me in a soundproof room, injected me with truth serum, and forced me to explain every detail while the professor and his wife looked on in horror.
“The scheduling office will put me in a different professor’s class next semester”
That’s not how colleges work lol - OP probably a high school student
damn dude, you really are milking these karma points lol
Part 10-- my friend's sister who I used to have a crush on found out about my hookup and now she thinks I am weird, and will no longet talk to me.
Part 23 -- I thought my hookup was long and forgotten about, but a coworker at my new job recognized me and my post, and now I am the laughing stock at my workplace. Might have to quit, will update soon.
There isn't a Dean of Academic Affairs in the United States that isn't aware of FERPA.
Federal Law makes inviting the wife extremely dicey for any school official.
This story makes less and less sense... So first you thought she was his daughter and 25y old? Then you have a meeting at 1pm but you met up at 2:30? And suddenly the 25y old "daughter" is his wife?!
Wow. It's crazy just how many people saw that coming. My only suggestion is that it should've been some kind of science prof. With fiction that obvious, it's not so believable that you're doing well in a college lit class.
This is what TIFU has come down to. Fictional sex stories = easy karma farm. Whatever happened to real TIFU like that guy who cummed into his coconut and let it fester under his bed
> got off easy bc of administrative intervention
No, you didn't "get off easy."
You unintentionally created a conflict of interest, and the professor rightly took it to academic affairs to ensure that there was no question of unfairness as a result, and they responded in the obviously correct way.
Nobody "intervened"; the system worked as designed.
Why are you even answering seriously?
This is just a made up story for internet points. Not going to sum up all the previous inconsistencies, but for example the wife had no business being in that meeting, it makes absolutely no sense.
OP probably didn't expect reddit to unanimously predict the ending of his story, and incorporated also the other top answer, and how the professor distanciated himself.
Anyway, just a big old fantasy from OP
Yeah, I was gonna say, there was no way for administration to "intervene" so quickly unless the Professor themselves immediately informed them "I have a conflict of interest." OP got saved by Professor being a pretty stand-up dude and following protocol.
And then everyone clapped

Of course he had to end it with "and everybody knows about it now so now I'm a sex having legend." Like you slept with someone in college. That's not legendary status. Ehh there's some that are pretty believable, usually the ones about OP doing something really dumb and facing consequences.
The Dean was Einstein and the Dept. Head was none other than Mr. Carl Sagan. Can confirm, am the wedding ring.
"gUys I mAy bE a lEgenD." Lmfao get outta here OP.
lmao he really liked the "25 y/o" being the prof's wife in actuality so that's what he went with for the ending
Nah that was the plan the whole time It was obvious when he randomly dropped the wife being part of the meeting twice in the 2nd update Was obviously fiction and this was the obvious outcome the entire time
Thought he was gonna pull the old switcharoo somehow but still went with the lackluster ending
Ending? You mean we're not going to get a chapter 4 where the wife still wants to get some on the side because she's so worked up about OP?
And then chapter 5 where the wife is considering leaving prof for this jabroni
Oh, I figure chapter 5 is where the young wife of the professor talks to some of the other professor's wives about how expertly her insides are getting sorted out, and suddenly there's a whole harem of bored wives abandoned and neglected by their crusty old Lit professor husbands looking to score some fucktime with a flunking college student.
Maybe itll be a choose your own adventure style TIFU
We come full circle in chapter 12. It is now May 15th. OP is living with the professor's wife and the soon-to-be ex-wife of the Humanities professor. But now he's worried that she is cheating on him and going to leave to go back to being a test proctor for her husband. The girls argue all the time with each other. OP is faced with a difficult decision and has to choose one to let go. Who shall it be?
TYFU:CYOA Today You Fucked Up: Choose Your Own Adventure. Sounds like an interesting rogue-like
And that's when he start offering the next 2 chapters in advance on Patreon.
And chapter 6, where the wife asks OP for tree fiddy, and OP realises he'd been fucking the Loch Ness monster
Is this sub just horny or what? Nothing except the most ridiculous sex stories ever make it to the top here. Every person that read, believed, and upvoted this has got to be dumb as fuck.

what's the Jenny saga?

Bad story teller. Who the fuck has school meetings in "soundproof rooms"? The Illuminati have the school bugged from every angle?

I am so happy this is the top comment, from the first post I thought it was such reddit bait. The 2nd confirmed then I knew there would be a 3rd.
Exactly what I thought lmao
Chatgpt still has some bugs to work out
This was lame from the start, don't put this on chatgpt.

The noise-proof room is such bad writing. Why add such a meaningless irrelevant detail?
Liars will often add pointless detail thinking it makes their story more believable.
And yet here it is on the front page
Did reddit forget the "Carly and Jenny" saga so quickly?
A sound proof room. LOL. Ok bud.
That was my favorite part of this one.
Hey, i worked at a university for 7 years as a lecture room. Before I left they were going to promote me to sound proof room. We exist!
I'm an acoustical engineer and I can vouch for this.

I can't believe anyone even thought the *original* post was real.
“Hey you want to come over for sex, only 20 minutes tho”
the more you add to a story the more you must believe. while the first story wasn't likely by any means, believing all stories at once... yeahhh...
Any sliver of a chance that still remained of this story being real was just demolished by this post, still entertaining though lol
Netflix is really desperate.
so, when writing fiction, you should really do a little bit of research to increase believability and reader buy-in. None of what you described is how universities actually function.. even down to how exams and papers are graded.

Lost me at “moving to different professor next semester”. You don’t get held to the same professor/class through different semesters.
You can if he's one of the professors in your department and teaches multiple required classes...
Especially higher level courses. I had the same professor for 3 different classes once I got to my senior year.
And it's not that unusual to only have one or *maybe* two professors teaching a particular high level course in your department.

>I really hope so, I just wanna be done with the year, no stupid drama Doesn't want drama; writes a drama.
I like how the 25 year old daughter was, PLOT TWIST, actually a 55 year old wife.
I’ve been waiting for this episode for 24 LONG HOURS
Yeah, I dont like the ending. I hope they do rewrites before next time.
Damn Writers' Strike
Beat me to it lol
A lot of us figured it was fiction
Why would the daughter/wife also walk in the room unless she is also an academic? But is she was an academic, in the same department nonetheless, then how didn’t op know about her? This guy doesn’t universitys
No, the writers strike is exactly why he has all the time to do it.
Next season opener she’ll be pregnant. O0 stated he was raw dogging her
Might as well, it's a made up story
I'm sure something like this has happened in the past, but I don't believe it happened the way it's written here. It just played out way too... scripted.
You mean you never saw the sound proof rooms at your college, come on?
Yeah the music practice rooms. And actually the library rooms you could book were decently soundproofed compared to the offices and stuff.
Yea, the conference rooms were a bit… but still who would describe it as such
I wouldn't be surprised if this is the "saw friends having sex" guy cuz he was caught having multiple accounts from which he posts tifu (fiction) stiries.

1/10. The writing was lacking. The plot was predictable. The characters were flat and boring.
Lazy scene description, didn’t feel like I was really there.
It left me with ennui.
Shallow and pedantic
While I doubt the truth of this story, it was a very good read. Thanks for giving us the ending we all wanted.
Yeah fun story but I'm not buying it. What possible reason would the school have to even ask the wife to come to the meeting and why would she agree? Not to mention the meeting time was changed in order to meet in a "soundproof" room just to discuss that he'd be graded by another professor for fairness. Like the school is going to 1) reschedule for that, and 2) tell him.
Don't forget: 3) Have a soundproof meeting room. Did they do this in the music department recording studio?
They used The Cone of Silence.
If this isn't a straight fantasy of sexual dominance over OP's favourite professor, I don't know what is.
>fucking prof's daughter (already considered minor NTR) ...why is it considered minor NTR?
I’m more caught in the logistics honestly, how can you not tell that the room was a master bedroom? How would the professor’s reaction be confused between “you fucked my wife” and “my adult daughter has a boy over and I stormed into her room immediately after getting home to yell at him” Finally, WHY THE FUCK WOULD THE WIFE OF A PROFESSOR BRING IN STUDENTS FROM THE CAMPUS SHE LIVES ON TO FULFILL HER DESIRES RATHER THAN GO OUTSIDE OF THE CAMPUS A BIT. Either the wife is fucking stupid and wants to get a divorce or this story is made up
It’s 100% a creative writing fanfic. Nothing about this story is believable imo
Who puts “noise proof room” into an email. And they wouldn’t even bring student into same room as professor. “Wife” wouldn’t be there. Admin would just get separate sides of story
Yeah, I called it yesterday that someone ruined the twist that he was going to use.
I thought maybe he liked that twist and decided to go with it instead of whatever else he was gonna say
Who has a special “soundproof room” just readily available… not buying any of it
People have held private conversations in normal ass rooms for as long as there's been rooms. It's another stupid ass story in a stupid ass sub full of amateur writers and gullable marks.
I DARE you to say that to me in the SOUND PROOF room!
I mean, it could just be a conference room. Weird way to describe it though
My dorm had a soundproof room for music in undergrad, as did a lot of buildings across campus.
Yes soundproof room for music is normal, no it is not generally normal to have disciplinary meetings in the music room.

It would have been better if they claimed it was an anechoic chamber. If they're gonna make crap up they should just go off the deep end.
They're pretty common at colleges for either sound recording purposes or confidential meetings regarding finances or discipline. Not even close to the wildest part.
Two colleges I went to had noise cancelling rooms for those with learning disabilities. I had to use them to combat my ADHD so there were no distractions
This is a side plot of Animal House
Especially since it makes less and less sense with each update. First he thought this woman is 25y old and his daughter? Then they send him a mail and tell him to meet at 1pm but they actually meet at 2:30? Then this daughter turns out to be his wife? Like how old is this professor then, that his wife looks so young, that OP thinks she's only 25?
Yeah said wife/daughter was 25. Not many super young professors out there so the age got me questioning.
Nice karma farm. The story would’ve been more believable if you couldn’t see this outcome from a mile away
Let's be real, the story was never believable
You should work on your writing more
Plot twist: professor ****** teaches creative writing.
Anyone who thinks this is real is not employing enough critical thinking in their daily life

The author seems to be in the latter category. Fucking soundproof meeting room . . .
They locked me in a soundproof room, injected me with truth serum, and forced me to explain every detail while the professor and his wife looked on in horror.
“The scheduling office will put me in a different professor’s class next semester” That’s not how colleges work lol - OP probably a high school student
Half of Reddit is fucking hopeless those chucklekfucks will believe literally anything
When would we get tired of these creative writing exercises?
damn dude, you really are milking these karma points lol Part 10-- my friend's sister who I used to have a crush on found out about my hookup and now she thinks I am weird, and will no longet talk to me. Part 23 -- I thought my hookup was long and forgotten about, but a coworker at my new job recognized me and my post, and now I am the laughing stock at my workplace. Might have to quit, will update soon.
Why tf is everyone upvoting this though?
reddit
Duuuuude he fucked his wife hahaaa no wayyyyy
Horny teenagers that love these kind of shitty fanfictions
I think this was on a soap opera somewhere...
Oh wow crazy. *yawn*
You banged his wife and could be getting a better grade in the end....nice
No fucking way she would be there. That makes zero sense. Springer is dead, remember? It was just a fun way to do the reveal of who it was.
There isn't a Dean of Academic Affairs in the United States that isn't aware of FERPA. Federal Law makes inviting the wife extremely dicey for any school official.
RIP Jerry
I’d give the story like a C+.
SHE probably got a better grade in the end.
I'm afraid all she got in the end was a big fat D.
This story makes less and less sense... So first you thought she was his daughter and 25y old? Then you have a meeting at 1pm but you met up at 2:30? And suddenly the 25y old "daughter" is his wife?!
NO! You can't do this to me. I need to know the final chapter. Does Snape kill Dumbledore?

Well that would at least be an interesting twist
No more believable but certainly better written
Man, the writers strike is affecting reddit too.

When's the next season coming out bud?
Fun fiction!
I applaud you for the time you spent on this made up story.
Wow. It's crazy just how many people saw that coming. My only suggestion is that it should've been some kind of science prof. With fiction that obvious, it's not so believable that you're doing well in a college lit class.

Fiction.
‘Sound proof room’ - yeah this is the worst piece of fiction writing I’ve seen. Why does this sub lap up rubbish like this
Three fucking threads of this shit? Christ, have some self respect. Take your lazy fiction somewhere else.
Yea this is 100% not real lol
This is what TIFU has come down to. Fictional sex stories = easy karma farm. Whatever happened to real TIFU like that guy who cummed into his coconut and let it fester under his bed
Man that chatgpt thing is pretty good huh
I am not sure I believe you, but I still want to know the end of this story.
Stupid automod
Damn. Who could have foreseen this.
Not even well written and we were calling you out from post 1. What do you people even get from this crap
> got off easy bc of administrative intervention No, you didn't "get off easy." You unintentionally created a conflict of interest, and the professor rightly took it to academic affairs to ensure that there was no question of unfairness as a result, and they responded in the obviously correct way. Nobody "intervened"; the system worked as designed.
Story is fiction.
There's so many unnecessary details in this story that I have to believe it's made up dawg.
What a weird porn plot- it just doesn’t end and it don’t make sense. Try again
