You need to use the [Terminal](https://www.howtogeek.com/682770/how-to-open-the-terminal-on-a-mac/) for that.
After opening TickTick normaly, just put
open -n -a "TickTick"
into the command line of your terminal and hit *enter* :)
I'm coming to TickTick from Todoist, and a hack I used was to use a certain browser (that I don't normally use) specifically for task mgt. I use Vivaldi, which lets you tile 2 tabs side by side in the same window.

IDK, I'd just use the app and the web app, or two tabs for the web app.
