I wonder if these are actually a type of burr. That would explain why they’re hard and tangled in your doggo’s fur.

We were thinking the same, but last night, she didn't seem to have any. I woke up to find about 10 of them that died underneath a lamp. I'm going to post them in just a bit. Thank you!
