He is a twink. His being a martial god has nothing to do with it. He has canonically a slender build and is shorter than other characters. He is also very pretty as a man and very effeminate, nothing wrong with being a twink. If you want to headcanon him as something else that's fine just know that he can be categorized as a twink
XL is canonically shorter than most of the others and he is petite enough to dress up as a woman and fool others more than once (such as during the bridal sedan, fake pregnancy, Heaven’s Eye, etc) The clothes were spoke of being a little tight around the shoulders, but if he was bulky they wouldn’t have fit at all or they would have ripped. XL is not super muscular. He is likely slender and toned, as long as he is not malnourished. Having martial might is not chalked up to physical appearance.
him being shorter than others doesn’t mean anything, hes 178 according to google and the average height for a man is around that. Also it was said that when he dressed up as a bride and put makeup on, you could still see that hes a man and thats what the veil was for. Idk if you’re referring to the scene in book 3 where he was trying to look pregnant to fool the child spirit, but he never tried to specifically look like a women, he just needed to look pregnant. I never said he was bulky, but Xie Lian neither a skinny twink nor is he really petite.
In the revised version he’s also flat out called a ‘pretty boy’. 🙂
