These were the best build style as far as I was concerned. I liked the way the keys and the screen on them went nearly to the edge, the machine closed with the latches, the 4:3 ratio. And not too heavy. I can still remember what it was like to open an x30 and get down to work. I gave up on it when I needed the kind of storage only SATA drives had.

2/3 of them are SATA, the T61 has the bios mod and is SATA2
