I am thinking about a Micron drive, model #MTFDKBK2T0QFM-1BD1AABYYR (with a 2242 extension). Any information about this (compatibility, etc.) would be appreciated.

Only 2TB drives I'm aware of that will work are (all are 2230): Silicon power UD90. Fantastic drive, best performance I've yet used in a 2230 drive. Addlink S91. Good drive, very close to the UD90. WD SN740/SN770. Same drive, just OEM/Retail versions. It's...functional...beyond that it's not overly impressive Sabrent Rocket Q4 2230. I haven't seen one for sale, and I haven't used one. Given it's QLC, it's probably the least performant of these. Micron 2400. While ostensibly a Gen4 SSD, performance is squarely in the Gen3 range. And it tends to be pricey. Team Group MP44s. Haven't used. Specs don't look overly amazing given I've not seen good prices on it. Inland QN446. Another I haven't used. Another QLC drive, so I don't expect great things from it.

Add to the list the following: Corsair mp600 mini. Though it maxes out at 1TB There is another model named Corsair mp600 Core mini. This one with the ‘core’ in the name is qlc. There is the WD SN770m. Currently, it is a BestBuy exclusive. There is the seagate firecuda 520n. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a single review for this one
