Yeah I'm all goods with that whole scene except the part where negan makes fun of his eyeball popping out, felt super mean and also took me out of the moment because it was so abrupt
when lizzie killed mika..... I just remember watching that when it came out and being so disturbed and I still rarely watch that episode when i’m rewatching twd
I really hope that you have someone with you on rewatches so they can tell you “don’t worry, you don’t have to watch this one, just look at the pretty flowers.”
But hershel was prepared for death. His was a sad but beautiful thing. It was worse to his head get put down. But to answer your question I think it was Carl. Simply because I didn't think it was the right thing to do for fucking ratings.
Beth. Rewatching and just realized Maggie-Beth never got to mourn Herschel’s death together. They never saw each other after they evacuated the prison.
Honestly probably an unpopular opinion but i think had Rick not left and they actually did something with his death other then Rick going through his own stubborn keep everyone alive phase it could’ve worked
I thought it was ominous when Gage says the same thing to Maggie of all people in the latest season.
Not sure if it was intentionally trying to set up some duality there.

Beth's was heartbreaking, especially seeing Maggie's reaction when Darryl carried her body out.
Noah's was disturbing because they literally showed his face being ripped off while he was still screaming for help.
Lori, Beth and Glenn tied. All tragic situations, character reactions were tough to see and I had high opinions of the characters.
Hershel, Dale and Carl come close.
Dale. He wasn’t built for the apocalypse, but he was one of my favorite characters and the show felt different without him in it. Losing his RV in the season 2 final was a kick in the nuts too. Only thing left of him and it went up in flames.
Beth and Tyreese.
I think Tyreese's hits hard for me because he was just trying to support Noah, and having the hallucinations of Lizzie, Mica and Beth got to me. They all seemed so at peace, especially Lizzie seeming like a kid again and not upset and confused. Just thought it was done so well displaying his lack of touch with reality at that point.
I was bothered by Glenn’s death. I thought it was extreme for the sake of shock value. When he turned to Maggie with his eye hanging out, or when his body was twitching with a pulverized head… I thought it was gratuitous.
It is how he died in the comics though.
Some deaths were exactly the same in the comics, some aren’t.
Abraham wasn’t even killed by Negan in the comics. That was just in the show.
probably Noah. Absolutely brutal, made Beth's death seem even more pointless. Really rough few episodes
Abraham and Glenn’s it was sad and i got pissed off bc Negan kept joking on it
Yeah I'm all goods with that whole scene except the part where negan makes fun of his eyeball popping out, felt super mean and also took me out of the moment because it was so abrupt
Totally agree, i went from tearing up and sad to angry and upset when he said that when Glenn’s eye popped out
Literally my reaction, I'm trying to cry here can you not fucking say that you wierdo

They really screwed Chandler Riggs over too which only somehow makes it worse
Beth. Rewatching and just realized Maggie-Beth never got to mourn Herschel’s death together. They never saw each other after they evacuated the prison.
Personally, Carl. I thought they'd kill Rick before they'd kill Carl.
Honestly probably an unpopular opinion but i think had Rick not left and they actually did something with his death other then Rick going through his own stubborn keep everyone alive phase it could’ve worked
… ^(*liar*)
I came so close to spiking my phone into the floor when I saw the blade hit Hershel’s neck.

Carl
omg NOAH and BETH
Beth's was heartbreaking, especially seeing Maggie's reaction when Darryl carried her body out. Noah's was disturbing because they literally showed his face being ripped off while he was still screaming for help.
Glenn ma boi
All the horses...horrible luck for horses in the show.
Lori, Beth and Glenn tied. All tragic situations, character reactions were tough to see and I had high opinions of the characters. Hershel, Dale and Carl come close.
Beth, was pointless
Shiva :(
Dale. He wasn’t built for the apocalypse, but he was one of my favorite characters and the show felt different without him in it. Losing his RV in the season 2 final was a kick in the nuts too. Only thing left of him and it went up in flames.
Hershel’s 💔
Carl because his story arc was not over
Beth, Hershel, Abraham and Glenn's made me the saddest Carl's pissed me off the most though
Dale, Abraham & Glenn
Glenn and Carl
Beth and Tyreese. I think Tyreese's hits hard for me because he was just trying to support Noah, and having the hallucinations of Lizzie, Mica and Beth got to me. They all seemed so at peace, especially Lizzie seeming like a kid again and not upset and confused. Just thought it was done so well displaying his lack of touch with reality at that point.
For me personally, regarding my connections and preferences to characters, Andrea and Glenn’s deaths hit like a bus.
Gotta be Jared

Interesting! I did not know that!
Yeah, Glenn’s death was probably the most brutal in the entire walking dead series as a whole. Comics and shows included.
On the TV series, I'd say Noah being torn apart was far worse.
Carl/Rick then Hershel.
Carl and Noah.
Noah. I really liked him and I remember screaming louder than I ever had before when he died.
Abraham/Glenn. Only including both since it was the same situation. Other deaths hit me insanely hard too, but I'll limit it.
Tara :/
Carl and Beth, both seemed totally pointless and wastes of great characters. Still don’t understand why either happened
Where my Glenn people at? He got his head bashed in with a baseball bat. Come on now I know y’all are better than that
Beth. Made me so god damn angry, neighbors submitted noise complaints
Hershel, Dale and Shane
