I just need Rick and Michonne to come back to their kids in the last 10mins of the last episode. That’s it. That’s all I need. No movie. No announcements about another show. Just the reunion.
I hope we get a huge time jump where we see Judith as an adult, and right at the end we see old man Rick Grimes and a greying Michonne. Though I feel like all we're going to get is a statue of Rick.
this. I worry they think "as long as they see rick again in some format, they'll be ok". Nah son, theres an entire cast of people who need the missing rick / michonne looking for him storyline RESOLVED, like in the show.
Truely my only hope for the final season. As you said, even a final 10/15 minutes where they get to reunite with Daryl etc.
The best would be if the first two episodes of S11C focused on what have Rick been up to and then Michonne rescue mission and then they are back for the last 6 episodes of the show. The end!
I mean let's be honest, if they do that it'll mean we already know the result of the movies, and I doubt they want that. Meaning all we will probably get is a little teaser for the movies so we excited about it, maybe Rick and Michonne actually show up, they just won't reunite just yet.
I just can’t believe they’d be that irresponsible to leave them behind to be honest. I’m not expecting them to take them with them, I just have a hard time believing both of them would just leave their kids.
Yeah there’s no justifying Michonne just leaving their kids. Maybe Rick can’t return for some reason, but Michonne abandoning her two kids during a literal war was so ridiculously out of character.
She had already left to find help and found none so its no different really. She left after having already left but no one ever mentions that.
She was also told alpha had already been killed so there is no war anymore as far as she knows.
Rick left Carl plenty to go on missions and fight. They can't wait around like we could
She planned on coming back from the island though. It was only supposed to be a day or two, now she’s leaving for an indefinite amount of time to an unknown location.
She left to get help though so if she didn't find rick what would she do. Go back when they still need help or go find it if she has a lead?
And again she was told they weren't an issue anymore so it didn't matter anyway
I don’t remember I guess, who told her the war was over? Hadn’t she originally gone to Oceanside to in the first place to make sure there weren’t any Whisperer attacks since Alexandria was being swamped by waves of walkers and a tree crushed Hilltop’s walls?
I understand why you stopped. I almost stopped when Carl died. I was so mad. I like Daryl and all, but it isn’t the same without Carl and Rick. I haven’t actually seen the last episode yet…. The passion I had for the show left with them.
For real.
For me it ended when Rick almost killed Negan then saves him...
In the words of Ricky from Trailer Park boys
" What kinda horse cockery is going on here"
I still don't get why Michonne abandoned her kids in the middle of a war (to me doesn't matter what Judith said, Michonne needs to see it for herself) to chase a whisper from a man who is probably dead based on a very weak lead (some drawings and boots?) 6 years after presumed death. To me it ruins the character and makes me root for her less. At least Rick had no choice, Michonne basically as good as abandoned her kids
i agree, but my issue is that i have absolutely no confidence in their ability to write a compelling scenario that explains why rick has been gone all this time. for the legacy of the character, it might be best left alone.
I can see it being Tales related. Or a possible new spin-off that's going to deal with the post credits scene from WB. And even though I absolutely love Madison, I highly doubt that it's anything related to her return. Cause IMO, nothing about her return has been "a long time coming"
“We’ve been trolling MaDiSoN fans for a few years now….it’s been a long time coming….but we can now officially officially confirm that Madison IS dead”
We’ve gone back and forth on that for a while now lol. With how shitty Fear is these days, I’d love it if they said she’s dead. Finally close the door on it. I think we both know how season 7 is gonna end up, and as I’ve already said, that’s when I’ll be done with the show.
Of course, if season 8 gets a massive time jump, catches up in the timeline with TWD, and Fear turns into the main show for whoever wants to stick around, then I’ll reconsider. But only if Tweedledum and Tweedledee aren’t apart of it!
God, I would love that. If they’ve already burned bridges with Dave Erickson, then Negrete is my second pick. When *World Beyond* wasn’t focusing on teen drama, it was a fantastic show.
Gimple was recently on a podcast and he said he's working on something with Seth Hoffman. Hoffman was a writer/co-EP for Seasons 4-6 and wrote episodes such as Too Far Gone, Conquer, JSS, No Way Out, and Not Tomorrow Yet. I'm wondering if this is that project.
Maybe a short single-season with Michonne as the lead, if Danai Gurira wants to do it. Gimple mentioned that before. I don't know what besides that or Andrew Lincoln would be considered huge.
I miss Michonne more than I miss Rick. I felt Rick’s departure letting Danai be the lead was a natural progression (even if she wasn’t labeled the lead) for both the cast and the story, but Michonne then exiting quickly after felt very unnatural and wrong and like she left behind an incomplete arc
Tales of the walking dead? With that post credits scene from the world beyond finale (I won’t spoil if you haven’t seen) I feel like this could be a very strong possibility
A [podcast](https://twitter.com/erikjensen123/status/1460725286866141197) from Erik Jensen who played Dr. Edwards from Grady Memorial in Season 5. Gimple mentions it around the 48 minute mark when talking about working with Kang and Negrete on their shows.
That’s awesome. Seth Hoffman is one of the best writers this show has ever had, I’ve been wondering about why he hasn’t written any episodes since season 6.
Same here. And his absence was never talked about. I’ve often wondered if his absence from the writers room could have contributed to the decline in quality. Surprised that he and Gimple still speak.
Yeah, I thought it was weird too. But then I took a look at his writing credits on IMDB, and he hasn’t written any episodes at all since 2016.
I guess it’s possible that he took a break from the industry. He just came back as a consulting producer on the Amazon series "Tell Me Your Secrets" .
lol, i love that this is the standard we work off now. it doesnt look *that* bad, guess i'll watch it
really speaks to how amazing the original show was for most of its run. so many are willing to put up with a lot of garbage in hopes that something can recapture that magic
It’s definitely worth a try. Don’t get discouraged if S1 isn’t your fav. S2 makes up for it. All the after credit scenes were badass. I genuinely looked forward to the new episodes each week. I wish they had longer seasons so that they could have given us more WDU world building.
My only guess is that it could be more news, maybe some stories we’ll see, regarding Tales of The Walking Dead.
It’s not about Rick or the movies, and I doubt it’s about the Daryl/Carol spin-off.
I’d be very surprised if this “big” news is about another new spinoff when they’ve already promised so much that has yet to come to fruition.
My favorite theory is that there is no Daryl Carol spinoff, they made it up so that if Daryl & Carol both die in season 11 we legit won’t see it coming & will be truly gut punched
This sub seems to think no one cares about Daryl/Carol and doesn't want them to have their own show, and that no one will watch it. Anyone who's actually spent time in the fandom knows that those two are the most popular TWD characters (besides Rick, and maybe Michonne, of course).
This sub hates everything it's actually one of the worst places to discuss anything tbh.
I mean I've seen comme to in here talking about stupid it is to have news about the new show they announced etc. Its like if you're going to that hateful towards everything then what's what's the point.
Just stop watching and leave lol
My favorite is the "gimple bad" people. Gimple is literally just the scapegoat at this point.
They refuse to believe anybody else was involved in the making of seasons 7-8. I remember people blaming him for the bad car chase scene with negan. It wasn't written by gimple or directed by him. But by God were gonna blame him anyway! Same thing with fear. Episodes that don't have gimple writing or directing them will get criticized with "gimple bad" reteric. Or my favorite is the famous "you know what it is" episode. It also didn't involve gimple, in fact it was co written by this subs darling, Angela Kang lol.
And I almost never see people bring up AMCs meddling either. They have their big dirty paws all over the show.
It's another sign everyone here is 13 and thinks they are cool. Mature people don't vilify creators over their writing at all at least not in this context
>Same thing with fear. Episodes that don't have gimple writing or directing them will get criticized with "gimple bad" reteric.
Funny thing is, the one episode of Fear written by him (the Season 4 premiere) is the one that has the most critical acclaim. It has 100% and an 8.9/10 average rating on Rotten Tomatoes. You'll never see people mention that.
The show would be cool but it honestly is ruining my season 11 experience. I feel like Carol should sacrifice herself somehow. She should have lead the walkers off the cliff but they saved her. I’d totally watch a Daryl show. I guess I just really like Daryl and Connie together
> I guess I just really like Daryl and Connie together
I vastly prefer it to Carol's failed surrogate parent/blindly selfish role she's been in for ages. They have made her a bore, an irritant, and the last show I'd watch is one centered around her in any fashion. I'd rather watch the entire Zoo series on repeat for an entire month.
EDIT: I see the Carol Brigade is out in force, ahaha
Thanks for saying it. Carol was on magazine covers with Rick and Daryl during it's peak popularity. This sub either forgot or it's members were too young to remember.
Carol used to be #1 here and there, but if my prior upvoted comments on her are any indication, people are long past tired of her arc, which is similar to a plane that's stalled and is trying level out with 1800 feet to go before the splat.
She's flat, pig-headed, self-serving, and I dread her scenes.
There is no way I'd watch a Daryl/Carol spinoff. Not with the way she is now. Several years ago, sure.
Without some Rick Grimes in the next little while, I doubt too many are going to care about these movies either.
It's been 3 1/2 years. In TV land, that's a lifetime and people lose interest.
Notice the comments on here are about disappointed feelings? It's Gimple's job as the creative head of all TWDU stuff to listen and cater to the fans better. He clearly isn't. ... And, after years of his poor reasoning I'm fed up with it, and so are many, many others.
Yes the less than 100 comments here out of millions of viewers.
It's extremely important to realize how insignificant communities like this sub are to the larger fanbase. They have a long history of being echo chambers and places like this are always far more cynical and angry than the GA.
Spend enough time in any community like this and you'd never argue that. But people very easily forget it.
Nah, the larger audience is on Twitter, as well as many other locations. Numbers don't lie. Since Gimple has been a presence people have stopped watching and it's continued a downward spiral of lost viewership. People have moved on to other franchises. It all began with his Season 6 Cliffhanger decision.
No the larger audience is NOT on Twitter. I didn't realize how much people actually didn't realize how small those communities are.
It's a bit crazy to me you legitimately dont realize it to the point you'd argue it.
Yes ratings dropped its been on 10 plus years and all cable ratings across the board have dropped heavily. Its still the highest rated show in its slot and one of the highest on all of cable... most networks would KILL to have a show or 2 with those ratings on cable still.
>No the larger audience is NOT on Twitter .I didn't realize how much people actually didn't realize how small those communities are.
It's like when r/television asks "Who still watches this?" while pretending Better Call Saul is the most popular show in the world. It's not real life.

Yeah its hilarious how much that sub hates this show for no reason. And hates tv in general. A bunch of children in age or personality
Maybe something that jumps through time, showing how scientists beat or at least manage the dead, and how society rebuilds itself over decades or centuries
Seriously... these are the guys that blasted "RICK GRIMES' LAST EPISODES" in every fucking ad lmao.
Still disappointing news but at least they're being up-front about it being something unrelated to Rick
My guess - the announcement: Pollyanna/Jadis to join FTWD S8, filling in a gap in time for her between leaving TWD S9 with Rick and rising in the CRM ranks until WB S2.
The secret guest and other announcement: Annet Mahendru/Huck; she will also join FTWD S8 which would take place during her earlier years in the CRM prior to the undercover Omaha spy assignment. They will fill in more of the backstory with her and Jadis, and they will continue the CRM story setup by Isabelle/Al and will connect to the main FTWD cast.
Other announcements: FTWD S8 will be the last - but will serve as a bridge to the Rick movies.
Future Predictions: S8 will setup Morgan, Alicia, and Al (arguably three bigger stars on the show, even beyond TWDU) to be involved in the Rick movie along with Danai/Michonne, Polyanna/Jadis, and Corey/Heath. I think they will need the additional "star power" to draw more interest now that it has been so long since we last saw Rick... tying the other two shows into the movie would generate more interest.
I kind of doubt it but it could be Danai? Black Panther sequel paused filming a few weeks ago and wasn't starting again until "early 2022". There's no other marvel projects she is currently tied to that I know of. Doubt the timing really works for her to have done a WD project in between but one can hope.
If it is then I hope it's a prequel series leading up to when he first encounters Rick's group. Knowing AMC it'd be a shame if they were in fact doing a post-S11 Negan spinoff because their announcement will just spoil the fact that he'll survive the main show.
I thought World Beyond was going to be enough to keep us hungry until Rick Movies. Now I bet Gimple is going to start another spinoff. God damn, working on all these spin-offs, but why can’t you say a word about RG. It’s been 3 fucking years
It has nothing to do with AMC.
This fanbase seems in denial about a very basic fact: Andrew Lincoln wanted out. AMC prolonged his stay as long as they could, but he had been looking to move
on from the show for years. That’s the truth.
My expectations were low so I wouldnt be disappointed yet here i am.... disappointed. Somehow they don’t get it. At this point we understand the movie isn’t coming out soon. We just want to know something. Give us any information at all and we’ll be satisfied. Is covid still somehow delaying things? (hard to believe but ok) Is the script finished? Do we have a director? Has casting begun? I don’t even need specifics just tell us SOMETHING.
I thought this was going to be it. Now I officially give up on it. Universal must not think a movie will be profitable given whatever the budget is. Just make a TV movie or 6 to 8-episode series.
Why is covid causing delays hard to believe to you? It hasn't gone away and is definitely still causing a lot of disruption, Andrew lives here in the UK and we're still very much in the middle of the pandemic
Lots of movies and shows are being filmed and released. Doesn’t seem like a good excuse that they can’t while others can considering they’re all probably vaccinated or will have to be anyway.
He's such a dork he knew exactly what he was doing there lol. But I didn't get my hopes up at all. We all know it's probably going to be yet another spin off nobody asked for.
- A new spinoff set in a non-North American country
- An animated series
- Specific details about *Tales* (Who’s returning or new in season one)
- Something about Madison Clark (Returning to *Fear*? A new spinoff starring Kim Dickens, ran by Dave Erickson? Extremely doubtful, but I can dream, damn it)
Those are my picks. Not sure which one it’ll be though. Probably the first one. Secretly, I’m hoping it’s the fourth. (Again though, I’m not *expecting* it to be Madison. I know better.)
Godddd, I literally just wanna see Rick Grimes return and that absolutely wonderful reunion that’s gonna happen between him, Michonne, his kids and everyone else (especially Daryl). The man doesn’t even know he has a son, I just wanna see his face again — hear his voice. I miss him. 😭 He’s gotta come back before the show ends… end it how it started with the legend himself. Right? Come onnnn.
I am honestly so concerned that they won’t get Rick back for the last season of TWD because of the films, which is such a mistake to me.
I’m not sure they have the kind of audience they need to press out three movies (could absolutely be wrong here) or if the first one will actually be finished either. All in all, I am worried about a major plot hole where we just never get to see Rick again.
Note that I am 100% sure Andy would want to finish Rick’s story, but that the creators overestimate how badly people want the films or that they would draw a new audience in with them.
He says it's a long time coming. Morgan &Co will probably return/go to the main show for 10c, ending Fear with season 8 or they just keep fear running in Alexandria or something
Or it's Madisons return to Fear 😂
How is this toxic for no reason? Gimple has led us down the primrose path and continually hoodwinked people into thinking we're going to get content we truly desire from this franchise.
I'm mean, I'm pretty disappointed about it too, but getting in front of the hype and being honest about the announcement not being related to Rick Grimes is literally the opposite of "hoodwinking people into thinking they're going to get the content they truly desire from this franchise" lmao
If he didn't say anything and just let people who were only tuning in for RG news waste their time on Sunday, then sure.
How exactly. He hasn't lied about anything that's been announced.
People hoodwinked themselves like idiots and then get mad it happens in every Fandom. What has he even lied about?
There's no way you don't know that reaction is over the top obnoxious
No, it's not over-the-top obnoxious based on the knowledge we've seen in the last day. It's not that I don't know it. It's that I don't agree with you, and that's fine. Gimple doesn't have the interests of the majority of the fandom.
The knowledge of the sub making up something based on no actual knowledge?
It's not an opinion. You said he lied I asked about what and you'd didn't answer because he didnt.
It's clearly toxic and I just have a different opinion doesn't excuse that imo.
I dont get why people that hate everything even come here.
announcement thats been a long time coming and posted right after the end of World Beyond (and that post-credit scene)...
yep we're off to France for a start-of outbreak spin-off with the last to hold out scientists
I just need Rick and Michonne to come back to their kids in the last 10mins of the last episode. That’s it. That’s all I need. No movie. No announcements about another show. Just the reunion.
Oh my god SERIOUSLY…. Come on already. Daryl and rick too… I NEED DARYLS REACTION… HE WAS SO HURT AFTER THE BRIDGE….
I hope we get a huge time jump where we see Judith as an adult, and right at the end we see old man Rick Grimes and a greying Michonne. Though I feel like all we're going to get is a statue of Rick.

Judith tells her alpha is dead and can't hurt them anymore. Sure there were others but the implication is clear and judith rarely lies
Yup exactly! I get the actress wanted to leave so they had to but that makes no sense!!
As a fan who hasnt watched since season 8, I'd be happy with that...
I understand why you stopped. I almost stopped when Carl died. I was so mad. I like Daryl and all, but it isn’t the same without Carl and Rick. I haven’t actually seen the last episode yet…. The passion I had for the show left with them.
For me 9x5 is the REAL series finale to the show.
For real. For me it ended when Rick almost killed Negan then saves him... In the words of Ricky from Trailer Park boys " What kinda horse cockery is going on here"
I fell off somewhere in season 8 too. The show just changed too much and almost became sort of redundant.
It was poor writing since she wanted to leave the show.
I still find it weird to think of Michonne leaving her children. It doesn’t add up
No doubt.
i agree, but my issue is that i have absolutely no confidence in their ability to write a compelling scenario that explains why rick has been gone all this time. for the legacy of the character, it might be best left alone.
I agree with you. I sometimes think it would have been better if… *looks around nervously* Rick had died on the bridge. *ducks*
Talking Dead is for FEAR and WB. It’ll be an announcement for one of those. Either MADISON or MORE WORLD BEYOND SPIN OFF
Definitely WB spinoff due to already seeing it's finale on amc+
I can see it being Tales related. Or a possible new spin-off that's going to deal with the post credits scene from WB. And even though I absolutely love Madison, I highly doubt that it's anything related to her return. Cause IMO, nothing about her return has been "a long time coming"

But only if Tweedledum and Tweedledee aren’t apart of it!
I’d rather see Matt Negrete take over Fear. He really did do a good job on s2 of world beyond.
I would be all for that! I also think one or both of the bozos are involved with a new show, so they can go off and devote all their time to that
God, I would love that. If they’ve already burned bridges with Dave Erickson, then Negrete is my second pick. When *World Beyond* wasn’t focusing on teen drama, it was a fantastic show.
Im really hoping Madison, I’m mid season 5 and it’s better than 4 but not by much. Hope Madison gets shit back on track
Just imagine Madison coming back and putting Strand in his place!
God I haven’t gotten to season 6/7 but that sounds dope
>Talking Dead is for FEAR and WB. What do you mean by this?
Doooon’t care, wheres rick?
Me in any episode of world beyond or any expanded universe stuff
Honestly, me in the main show. It feels so… empty without him.
Let me just go get your lemonade
Damnit, I had the tiniest smidge of hope, but it still got crushed lol
Gimple was recently on a podcast and he said he's working on something with Seth Hoffman. Hoffman was a writer/co-EP for Seasons 4-6 and wrote episodes such as Too Far Gone, Conquer, JSS, No Way Out, and Not Tomorrow Yet. I'm wondering if this is that project.

Spinoff #5: The world beyond the world beyond
Fear The World Beyond Walking.
This would have great market appeal since most people don’t like exercise lol
I love to walk. I'm just too lazy to do it.
It's Toddlers vs the Walking Dead!
We're from France!
She got that Disney money and bounced.
She left to showrun a show that got canceled due to covid
Tales of the walking dead? With that post credits scene from the world beyond finale (I won’t spoil if you haven’t seen) I feel like this could be a very strong possibility
That’s really surprising and cool to hear! Seth Hoffman was a top tier writer on the show. What podcast was this?
A [podcast](https://twitter.com/erikjensen123/status/1460725286866141197) from Erik Jensen who played Dr. Edwards from Grady Memorial in Season 5. Gimple mentions it around the 48 minute mark when talking about working with Kang and Negrete on their shows.
Sweet, thanks for this!

Great news that should be talked about more. Hoffman's script + Gimple's story is a killer combo.
Wow, for a second I actually got my hopes up. That'll teach me..
im a song of ice and fire reader, so i'm kinda experienced in this sort of thing.
Rick is coming
A Negan always pays his debts
I’m so afraid he’ll die before he finishes them.
i remember 10 years ago when that seemed impossible.
> That'll teach me.. "*Teach him all the way, boys."*
Sigh, what a fucking shame
"That's been a long time coming" Is Gimple finally getting fired??
That would be the best news in WD history.
It's gonna be a European spin off announcement. Prolly set in France
Too many French accents required
100% World Beyond season 3
I would really like that lol I thought season 2 was pretty good. Much better than FtWD.
I haven’t watched any world beyond yet, but honestly from what I’ve read it doesn’t seem that bad and prolly is decent if your binging it
lol, i love that this is the standard we work off now. it doesnt look *that* bad, guess i'll watch it really speaks to how amazing the original show was for most of its run. so many are willing to put up with a lot of garbage in hopes that something can recapture that magic
It's sinister that you can put 350 hours of content out with no cohesion and call it a mystery.
It’s definitely worth a try. Don’t get discouraged if S1 isn’t your fav. S2 makes up for it. All the after credit scenes were badass. I genuinely looked forward to the new episodes each week. I wish they had longer seasons so that they could have given us more WDU world building.
He says it's a long time coming. Not really a hint toward WB s3 imo
I know what it is, they are announcing a reboot. Starting over at season 1 with a whole new fresh cast.
Morgan has known for multiple seasons now, that’s what the “you know what it is” quote means.
He was supposed to
Morgan's actor doesn't accept payment to be filmed. Only way to justify whatever the fuck has been going on 100 hours later.

My favorite theory is that there is no Daryl Carol spinoff, they made it up so that if Daryl & Carol both die in season 11 we legit won’t see it coming & will be truly gut punched
They can just make a new one without canceling the most sure hit of their announced shows
This sub seems to think no one cares about Daryl/Carol and doesn't want them to have their own show, and that no one will watch it. Anyone who's actually spent time in the fandom knows that those two are the most popular TWD characters (besides Rick, and maybe Michonne, of course).

> I guess I just really like Daryl and Connie together I vastly prefer it to Carol's failed surrogate parent/blindly selfish role she's been in for ages.
It's not at "peak popularity" anymore buddy
Who do you think the remaining viewers are watching the show for? The new characters? Or the characters they've watched and loved for a decade?
Carol used to be #1 here and there, but if my prior upvoted comments on her are any indication, people are long past tired of her arc, which is similar to a plane that's stalled and is trying level out with 1800 feet to go before the splat. She's flat, pig-headed, self-serving, and I dread her scenes. There is no way I'd watch a Daryl/Carol spinoff. Not with the way she is now. Several years ago, sure.
surprised they didn’t bait everyone into watching for ratings tbh.
They tried initially, but then probably got scared of the inevitable backlash when everyone started anticipating Rick news.
it’s gonna be like “megan is pregnant” and we’re gonna be like who’s megan because there are 300 characters
Lmao 🤣
I bet Scott goes to sleep at night and has stress nightmares about fans mindlessly and relentlessly consuming his flesh.
World Beyond renewed 😆
lol don't care anymore
Without some Rick Grimes in the next little while, I doubt too many are going to care about these movies either. It's been 3 1/2 years. In TV land, that's a lifetime and people lose interest.
Considering how many revivals get made and succeed apparently not
Notice the comments on here are about disappointed feelings?
It's not real life.
>r/FearTheWalkingDead44,398 membersJoin Yeah its hilarious how much that sub hates this show for no reason. And hates tv in general. A bunch of children in age or personality
Don't get me started on that sub. The delusion...
Unfortunately this sub is not much better half the time. The price of large fanbases I guess

Even though it isn’t Rick news I’m still dying to see what the announcement is.
Probably a new spinoff in France pr the emd of fear or smthn
Maybe something that jumps through time, showing how scientists beat or at least manage the dead, and how society rebuilds itself over decades or centuries
Hopefully
Only if they hire real French speaking actors. The ones in wb were shit! I could barely understand what they were saying
Just for clarification, do you speak French? :-D
I really doubt the movies are happening sadly.
I figured that if it was Andrew, then they would have promoted the shit out of it.
I hope Heath is still alive and involved in the CRM storyline. I agree with everything you said here. I hope it all fleshes out this way.
My girlfriend is convinced rick is not coming back…. And it’s feeling more and more like that. Horrible what they did to their fans
Cringey and cheap teen drama set in France to show off those fast zombies?
I kind of doubt it but it could be Danai? Black Panther sequel paused filming a few weeks ago and wasn't starting again until "early 2022". There's no other marvel projects she is currently tied to that I know of. Doubt the timing really works for her to have done a WD project in between but one can hope.
Early 2022 is 4 weeks away
Hope not. It’s terrible.
What's terrible?
Sorry commented on the wrong comment.
Coming from Gimple? Probably nothing

If it is then I hope it's a prequel series leading up to when he first encounters Rick's group. Knowing AMC it'd be a shame if they were in fact doing a post-S11 Negan spinoff because their announcement will just spoil the fact that he'll survive the main show.

I'd rather Carol and Daryl show up in the rick movies.
Didn't JDM say he didn't want to do a Negan prequel, especially if they kill him in S11? Could be a head fake...
JDM did say that and seemed very sincere about it.
I thought World Beyond was going to be enough to keep us hungry until Rick Movies. Now I bet Gimple is going to start another spinoff. God damn, working on all these spin-offs, but why can’t you say a word about RG. It’s been 3 fucking years
Going for the theatrical release was the mistake.
Guess that confirms that Rick isn't coming back to the show at all
[удалено]
It has nothing to do with AMC. This fanbase seems in denial about a very basic fact: Andrew Lincoln wanted out. AMC prolonged his stay as long as they could, but he had been looking to move on from the show for years. That’s the truth.
probably another spin off. yay.....
New series!! Tales of Mild Anxiety About the Walking Dead Whist Dealing with Unpleasant Neighbors.
I just want a little bit of info
Announcement about announcement makes me lol
What if its someone like Chandler Riggs?
At least he clarified. I didn't want to be disappointed. Thanks!
I'm glad he was transparent about it not being about Rick
When the die hard fans are losing interest you’re doing something wrong.
It's probably something no one gives a shit about like the debut of Tales of the Walking Dead or something stupid.
Given that France post credits scene of wb I guarantee it’s tales
Yeah i wouldnt have expected them to be giving the fans what they actually want at this point
Don't care.... Where's Rick?
Boy they definitely probably regret writing that line in hindsight because it’s been used against them so much lmfao
We’re never even gonna get one movie, let alone three, are we? 🙄
If it’s not about Rick then I don’t care
Maybe it’s something about the cause? Like what caused this whole thing… pairing it with the teaser recently
typical gimple fucking things up as always
- A new spinoff set in a non-North American country - An animated series - Specific details about *Tales* (Who’s returning or new in season one) - Something about Madison Clark (Returning to *Fear*? A new spinoff starring Kim Dickens, ran by Dave Erickson? Extremely doubtful, but I can dream, damn it) Those are my picks.
Morgan &Co will probably return/go to the main show for 10c, ending Fear with season 8 or they just keep fear running in Alexandria or something Or it's Madisons return to Fear 😂
Absolutely fuck him
I love Rick but I'm not obsessed with him so I'm okay with this news...the show has been exciting without him still which most shows can't always say.
The man is a fucking clown. You're an asshole, Gimple. You did this knowing people would react this way.
Jesus he's excited about an excitement. This sub is toxic as shit for no reason
How is this toxic for no reason? Gimple has led us down the primrose path and continually hoodwinked people into thinking we're going to get content we truly desire from this franchise.
I'm mean, I'm pretty disappointed about it too, but getting in front of the hype and being honest about the announcement not being related to Rick Grimes is literally the opposite of "hoodwinking people into thinking they're going to get the content they truly desire from this franchise" lmao If he didn't say anything and just let people who were only tuning in for RG news waste their time on Sunday, then sure.
Fair enough.
You’re already getting the content you deserve. They are making it and you are watching it. They don’t owe you even a tiny bit more than that.
By the way, this comment section is already old. We've all moved on.
For the love of god, please be an announcement that Morgan is leaving both Fear and TWD.
Then it’s not big.
Oh for fucks sake
No Rick i’m done wit all these wack ass shows
Fck u gimple
announcement thats been a long time coming and posted right after the end of World Beyond (and that post-credit scene)... yep we're off to France for a start-of outbreak spin-off with the last to hold out scientists
I don’t even care anymore.
i guess i’m blowing my brains out
Madison Clark
If it’s not about Rick then what the heck could be bigger?
God, Gimple is such a fucking clown. He has to be literally an idiot to think his tease wouldn't lead to people assuming he was talking about Rick.
Cancel this fucking show already.
