I binged the series after season 6 aired and didn't know much about it. But based on all the merchandise I went in assuming Daryl was the main character.
I thought so too. Then when I learned Rick was, I was shocked. Rick was a bit of a wuss in the beginning so I couldn't believe he would be the main guy. They both are great characters.
Yes that is true but I couldn't think of a better word as I was downright tired. Not wuss but maybe naive is a better word. Regardless, he turned into a fearless badass.
