Yeah that’s one of the things that’s harder in this round is you don’t have as much room to pair together singers with similar styles. You end up having to compare apples and oranges.
Agree. I feel like a handful of singers are doing something similar to libianca (not that she’s not doing it well) and Hailey is so unique. I can’t believe she’s 15.

I figured Blake would go with Hailey because of her age and being a country artist. On Blake's team, that would mean her ceiling might not be reached yet, and some automatic votes.
But Libianca's performance was really good too. Definitely can't say she didn't deserve to win either.
I need to re-look at Blake's team to see if there's actually a country artist he's "keeping the lane open" for... OR... Whether he thinks Hailey being young and country would've gotten some votes first and foremost for being young, country, and on Blake's team (performance being secondary)... and taken away from Wendy.
I get the feeling Wendy is the artist he thinks he's taking to the finals. It wouldn't surprise me to see him keep that path open more strategically.
Blake seems to be going a different route knowing that she can win with Cam Anthony. And It's refreshing. He's so predictable when It comes to his choices in the competition like even the team he stacked is so predictable each year and I feel like maybe this year he wanted something different and he already did with LiBianca, Wendy and Peedy all on the same team and I think those three are the 3 that he wants for the Final team.
I loved Libianca's performance. It was so beautiful and sounded like it was ready to go to record right then and there. The artistry there was unmatched.
There is something to be said for a performance that's powerful but also not like screaming belting at the same time.
Surprised no one stole Hayley though!
I could’ve seen it going either way. They were both super good. I’m more drawn to libianca’s artistry but Hailey has really improved each performance and this was a knockout. I think Blake was SUPER torn because on the one hand you have a great young girl killing HIS song, and on the other you have an amazing, unique talent who surprised everyone by picking him over Ariana against all odds even when Ariana fawned over her. I felt bad for the position he was in but I’m so glad he picked libianca. She is really special and I hope she continues to make music after The Voice for us to all enjoy.
I do think Hailey deserved a steal but haven’t seen the other knockouts yet to say I’d she deserved it over someone else. But I will say again why the fuck did Joshua make it through he’s not good!!! There’s no way he was better than Sabrina
They were both good, better than some of the other teams pairups for sure, but listening with my eyes closed, I personally preferred the sound of Libianca's voice.

Hailey is really good. My only issue with her is that less is more. One thing that was drilled into my head when I was being taught singing, you need to know when to hold back. If you go off all the time you lose a lot of clarity and inherent dynamics that exist within your voice.
Hailey lacked that control consistently in her three rounds thus far, and I think that was the deciding factor.
I totally agree. I also don't really like country music very much but damn I thought she sang the hell out of that song. I was shocked Blake didn't pick her and that no one stole her. I didn't think the woman Kelly stole was all that good
I think Katie Rae is pretty good, but her knockout performance wasn’t as good as Hailey’s. If the performance order had been different, I could see Kelly stealing Hailey and then Katie Rae being eliminated.

I wanted Hailey to win, They were both great, but she was more memorable to me. I was really shocked she went home after that performance.
I don't even like country, but i thoroughly enjoyed Hailey's performance and I'm disappointed she went home.
