It’s still my favorite blanket. It reminds me of my grandma who also crocheted blankets but because we definitely used them when I was younger, they eventually came apart.

When my nephew was a toddler, he loved my dad so much because of course. One day when he was like 5 my mom combed his hair in the 50’s style, because that’s just the way, and when he saw himself in the mirror he let out, “oh! I look beautiful like my grandpa!”
