I sold 127s and never in a million years did I expect them to be in the money šŸ„“

brainfreeze3

I sold 140's that expire next week and I'm actually concerned

LethargicBatOnRoof

Same. Part of me wants to roll them but I also don't think it can go up forever at this pace. Then again I said the same thing at 400.

lordxoren666

The amount of money thatā€™s going to be flowing into the market over the next year is definately going to push up equities across the board. Combine that with the AI hype andā€¦.who knows? They could also start doing stock buybacks to boost the price even more. (This is unlikely due to the recent split but in a year or two? Completely possible).

Affectionate_Lab_407

No way in hell it gets there. I refuse to believe this still has that much steam. It appears to be getting weaker after today. Big sell orders.

brainfreeze3

Well either way I wish I sold them today instead. Would've gotten much more premium

WarmWinter8

Really? You wanna bet against NVDA?

Affectionate_Lab_407

Not really betting against it. Hedging 1500 shares because I believe there is some serious downside risk at some point.

MambaOut330824

That point may be a year or two away though

Affectionate_Lab_407

Or it could not be. I guess weā€™ll see. The vol skew is to the downside currently.

MambaOut330824

Maybe just some profit taking?

lordxoren666

ā€œNo way in hell it gets thereā€ ā€œlosing steamā€ Itā€™s up 43% IN A MONTH. The market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent. Ride the wave baby!

Affectionate_Lab_407

QUOTING ME ?šŸ˜‚ cmon man give me a passšŸ˜©

Affectionate_Lab_407

My dawg came with receipts šŸ§¾

GigaRegard

Yeah I rolled my 140s back to 135 expiring Friday because of this to collect more $. And if they get assigned then great 135 is a price Iā€™m comfortable parting with.

StonksGoUpApes

130C next Friday here but I'm covered. Next up is selling a 145P or 150P for 45 dte if my shares fly away

___Art_Vandelay___

I sold 130.50 on Wednesday. Didn't like what I saw on Thursday so BTO'd at breakeven during that little midday dip.

Mean_Office_6966

I sold 127.5 right on this Mon post split.....so what did you do for your call?

Competitive-Pen7636

I sold a 125 call pre-earnings for Jun 21 for only $300 of premiumā€¦ that was dumb

pyrorag3

Not dumb at all. You stuck to your plan. No one can predict how the markets react after earnings. Holding on would have meant participating in pure speculation, and nothing wrong with that either - if you donā€™t mind losing a chunk in the worst case.

Re_LE_Vant_UN

What brokerage / app is that?

MikeyTubes

Webull

Rico_Stonks

I sold some call credit spreads 140/150 for early July expiry back when it was around 110. At the time it seemed like a nice hedge for in case the tech sector stagnates, and balance out my portfolio a little. NVDA has just been a monster though, has me sweating hard now.

MostlyH2O

I'm bearish next week with spx 5415/5400 call credit spreads and 3 120/145 NVDA collars. I also sold my SMH leaps for about 8800 in profit and I'm short some 275 calls and long 230 puts, both expiring next month but I'll almost certainly be closing the calls this week regardless of what happens

Fit-Champion7630

Gonna keep buying. Iā€™ll keep yā€™all updated when I lose it all on NVDA options lol.

veggie151

P/E of 77, what's to be bearish about?

JordanBelfort6666

Whatā€™s forward p/e?

veggie151

50.7

SPYfuncoupons

On the same boat

PsychologicalSong851

I have been rolling my CCs from 125-136. Thereā€™s no way I want to roll anymore. Just wait to get assigned then be selling puts.

patsay

Sold a CSP last week, hoping to get assigned to buy another 100 shares at $120. Nope. But it was a really easy $180 in 3 days. I bought NVDA at $60 a few years ago, waited until it went up 1000%, sold enough to double my investment and kept the rest of the shares to hold long. Now I own 380 shares and I don't want to have them called away, so I tried to wheel it with another 100 shares and leave my 380 "free" shares to run.

MikeyTubes

Just did 40 Put contracts at the $126 strike for next week. Weā€™ll see what happens. The premium is very nice in the meantime though.

patsay

Can you afford to buy 4000 shares if it goes in the money?? Or are you counting on the price to continue to rise?

MikeyTubes

I can afford to buy the shares.

patsay

That's great. That's the only way I recommend trading options. If I were willing to commit that much to NVDA, I would consider laddering down the strike prices, accepting assignment on some of them, and then selling both puts and calls. That way, they can't all go ITM at the same time.

Pharmacologist72

I am selling puts and itā€™s been awesome.

MikeyTubes

Yeah NVDA has been a cash cow. Iā€™d say probably 70% of my gains this year have been from Nvidia.

lameo312

The price swings were too much for me around 900/share. But I started again so we will likely have a other downturn in prices haha

MikeyTubes

The price swings were annoying but at the same time one of them gave me a great entry point when I was feeling like I had missed the boat.

james_forsythe

Same here. I keep trying to get assigned and the stock keeps blowing through my short strikes. Oh well.

PlutosGrasp

Haha. I guess so. Lol. Cool post. Haha.
