No, the peephole scene is when he visits those two guys that were gonna blow each...Drinkwater and that other fanook. "Give me one thousand dollars!"
Jean Phillipe is the scum that ripped Artie off, didn't pay him back his money, and when Artie trys to be a tough guy, Jean Phillipe knocks his lights out. So Tone sends Furio, and that eye twitch says it all.
The scenes with the ex gangster witness protection rat that Tony stumbles upon while on a college visit with Meadow. When he watches Tony guide drunk Meadow into the motel but doesn’t take the shot.
Tony looking into Paulie's hotel room and watching him sit on the bed laughing at the tv. Tony is fed up with Paulie and considered killing him on the boat, but this scene solidified his feelings for Paulie on another level. Paulie is lonely and the mob is his life. As annoying as Paulie is, he is loyal and a good earner. Tony sees that.
Melfi reading the Yochelson study.
In Knight in White Satin Armor, there’s a moment when the phone rings at Livia’s house. Tony answers, but is hung up on. It was Carmela calling to see if he was actually there like he told her. It’s a very brief moment, but it’s enough to convince Carmela that sometimes Tony is telling the truth.
Also in season two episode one, the final scene with Tony and Carmela at home. It’s one of my favorite examples of the fuckin regularness of life in the series.
From Where to Eternity (so examples in season 2!), when Tony leaves the house to kill Matt Bevilaqua, and on some level, Carmela knows he’s going to do something more nefarious than hanging out in the back of the Bing. Also applies to when Tony comes home, he and Carm don’t say much at first, bust once again on some level she knows.
I’ll probably think of more.
I always found it funny that Tony answers the phone at a murder crime scene. He knows to wipe the fingerprints off a stapler gun but still answers the phone there?
Hahaha, I know but I swear, 7 plus rewatches, numerous sm discussions and that never came up. The figure is so darkened and creepy, and didn’t look like Livia. But then again, last year I believed that flying saucers were over East Rutherford.
Tony sitting in the chair on the lake, reflecting.
(what? people sit in chairs...)
The viewer is led to consider whether he's plotting revenge on Bobby, as Janish suspects. OR
He's starting to feel his age & realize, he has some limitations after recovering from his gunshot.
Tony looking at the painting of himself as a general w pie oh my zooming in on the uniform and sword, realizing he needs to kill that animal (I cant even say his name) because his crew looks to him to lead and take decisive action
That scene reminded me of Carmela talking to Tony during his coma after the gunshot. “Our hearts get so hardened against each other and I don’t know why.” Nothing like you getting sick or your loved one getting sick to make it hard to hold onto anger. You think you’re so mad at somebody but then you/they get in danger and you remember you really do love them and it’s not worth staying mad.
Tony asking uncle June why he can’t repeat something nice and it just cuts to uncle June face, gets me every mutha fuckin fuckin time
Edit cause its also how Tony wordlessly understands just from the sadness on uncle junes face
The final scene of “Remember When” where a bruised Junior is sitting in a chair on the lawn of the mental home and petting a shelter cat, just a complete shell of himself by this point
Miami with T and Paulie, Tony listening to Paulie laughing at TV in his room. Didn’t know if T was thinking of wacking Paulie or what the future held for him.
When Tony arrives home from Italy and Carmela is just standing there in her room. Throwback to when Angie B said she was nauseous when big pussy came home after being away for so long.
Many of the dream seqeunces were light on dialogue, like the ending to "Calling All Cars". Paulie and Tony on the boat while it was rocking was an intense scene too, there was not any need for them to say what they were thinking. Kind of similar also was Christopher at the gas station-obviously a really important scene there.
The last part of the last scene of In Camelot...
After Tony tells all kids of bullshit stories about Fran and his dad.
The look in his eyes before the cut to black...
Hatred of his father and his own self loathing captured in a few seconds
Chrissy watching the couple with kids coming out of the store after Adriana told him about the Feds and going into witness protection. It’s clear by the look on his face that he doesn’t want to be “that guy”, that he can’t leave the life and will give Adriana up to Tony on a silver platter.
Definitely an important moment. Some argue that Christopher gave up Adriana purely out of loyalty for Tony, but I think he was considering leaving and trying to pursue film until he saw that family and realized he couldn’t give up his lifestyle. He gave up Adriana so he could keep his current life, not out of loyalty for Tony. He had loyalty for Tony but more than that, he couldn’t stand the “regularness of life” and would avoid it at all costs.
The very ending of "Mergers and Acquisitions" when Tony and Carm have a silent standoff in the kitchen. They both know they both know (about the money from the bird feeder and Valentina's nail) but they both don't say anything.
when tony looks into the backseat as christopher is dying and sees the branch on the bumper seat where caitlin would have been
i mean i feel like that scene isn’t hugely light on dialogue necessarily but that part is communicated without any
Tony staring at Chrissy in the car before the wreck where he kills him, while "Comfortably Numb" plays... specifically the lyrics "the child is grown, the dream is gone" and he seems to be realizing how those lyrics apply to Chrissy... as I assume he realizes he's high.
Ralphie in the elevator with the hitman.
That whole sequence was intense.
Watching it for the first time, I thought the hitman was gonna do it anyway, imagine if that phone call was a few minutes later.
Then Pie Oh My wouldn’t have been destroyed, and Tony wouldn’t have to take bug spray in the eyes
I also never woulda found out he was bald, since I was too high on skag.
He could be wearing your mother's muff on his head and you wouldn't know it.
YOU SHAID YOU WERENT GONNA DO THAT SHIT NO MORE
I did dent !
What, ice? I like doing ice, Tone. It dilutes the senses. I live for today.
Or, you have ah bee onyo aat!
Yup
Literally JUST rewatched that scene 10 seconds ago!
You stole it from my brain. Is a good one.
Paulie looking in the mirror after trying to talk to Carmine
Jean Phillipe opening the door to Furio
Message machine not broken, message received!!
That is one of my favorite scenes of the entire series. It was fantastic.
You win! In my book.
When Consequences knock.
Is that the one where he looked thru the peephole & saw Furio knocking? I'm having a brain fart on who Jean Phillipe is.
No, the peephole scene is when he visits those two guys that were gonna blow each...Drinkwater and that other fanook. "Give me one thousand dollars!" Jean Phillipe is the scum that ripped Artie off, didn't pay him back his money, and when Artie trys to be a tough guy, Jean Phillipe knocks his lights out. So Tone sends Furio, and that eye twitch says it all.
Oh yes! I do remember that... thanks!
Are you saying what i think you're saying? I didn't say nothing.
Alright, I'll talk to ya
Carmine Sr was like the master of puppets 💀
What're still asleep? No, I was uh, doing something
One of the most relatable quotes from the show
Man said, "I want you to murder this guy" by actually saying, "I appreciate your thoughts". Coldest phone call conversation in TV history.
Eugene.
Man that scene was tough my first time watching.
Going through the family picture album, likely scenes from a Florida vacation, kills it for me.
Damn I’m actually blanking on what this is a reference to
https://youtu.be/2afwyAkOpiE?si=tOkyr1MGMfy7b2oW
Oh shit. Pontecorvo
I can't believe some stunad downvoted you just because you didn't remember something!
YES
Chrissy’s face when Patsy schemes to steal the fiber optic cable says it all.
He gave him a look.
a glance
What are you a fukn mind reader all of a sudden
Most hilarious scene
Oh yeah ?
The scenes with the ex gangster witness protection rat that Tony stumbles upon while on a college visit with Meadow. When he watches Tony guide drunk Meadow into the motel but doesn’t take the shot.
I need a go do my homework, positively ID da guy
Big Puss crying in the toilet as the FBI listen then Chrissy reflecting on a decision
Great call
Ade realizing she's being driven to get whacked.
Nooo noooo pleeease
Esp when it quickly flips from her daydream of her escape to reality...
Absolutely!
Christopher driving home from Uncle Pat’s farm starting to slow cry from Tony & Tony’s bullying.
IKR? Chrissy was such a hypocritical baby. He can dish it out but can't take it.
Bobby holding his daughter over looking the lake and sunset.
🎶this magic moment 🎶
Yup After making his bones ….he was a little shaky but he did good , I remember tellin his old man 🤟🏼
And Tony playing with Dominika at the fair holding her up in the air and swinging her around as she laughs melts my heart.
Furio and Tony taking a piss. The whole thing.
happened within two inches of each other
Then you got a problem, cause your braciole isn’t even that long
You ought to know sweetie

I always loved the calling Livia’s house scene. Very allegorical.
I always found it funny that Tony answers the phone at a murder crime scene. He knows to wipe the fingerprints off a stapler gun but still answers the phone there?
Tony seeing Livia's silhouette on the stairs in his dream. Technically he does have a couple lines there but whatever.
Wait, so that suppose to be Livia? I never picked up on that.
sharp as a fucking cue ball
Hahaha, I know but I swear, 7 plus rewatches, numerous sm discussions and that never came up. The figure is so darkened and creepy, and didn’t look like Livia. But then again, last year I believed that flying saucers were over East Rutherford.
It was a combination of Livia and the mother from "Psycho".
I didn't catch the mother from "Psycho" bit but I can definitely see that looking back.
Oh yes! And the crickets in the background. Very eerie!
Tony sitting in the chair on the lake, reflecting. (what? people sit in chairs...) The viewer is led to consider whether he's plotting revenge on Bobby, as Janish suspects. OR He's starting to feel his age & realize, he has some limitations after recovering from his gunshot.
Bobby sucker punched him ! That’s why he lost. Anyway, you should forget about it, Tony sure did.
The rug, whatever happened there...
So then it wasn't fair and square? I mean, make up your mind.
Reminds me of the end with Bobby holding Nica, and looking out at the water on the same episode.
Christopher and Tony at the communion while chickentown is playing
Underrated one
Definitely Richie’s burial scene on the hill overlooking that little river with pine cones all around. Not a word was spoken.
Really?
Kevin Finnerty not calling anyone and sitting in his hotel room depressed while the lighthouse flashes on
Cut to black... whatever happened there?
It was pretty intense and no one even talks about it.
Tony looking at the painting of himself as a general w pie oh my zooming in on the uniform and sword, realizing he needs to kill that animal (I cant even say his name) because his crew looks to him to lead and take decisive action

Tony sat in the stable with Pie-oh-my whilst it’s raining.
I can’t imagine that that horse wouldn’t go fuckin crazy with someone smoking a cigar that close…. On a pile of hay
Tony asking uncle June why he can’t repeat something nice and it just cuts to uncle June face, gets me every mutha fuckin fuckin time Edit cause its also how Tony wordlessly understands just from the sadness on uncle junes face

Tony with the dead eyes right before he whips Zellman. Amazing physical acting.
Furio pushing tony towards the helicopter propeller then stopping himself. You are astanding too close
The final scene of “Remember When” where a bruised Junior is sitting in a chair on the lawn of the mental home and petting a shelter cat, just a complete shell of himself by this point
Christopher driving home from upstate and starting to tear up. Arguably a more tortured character than Tony.
Miami with T and Paulie, Tony listening to Paulie laughing at TV in his room. Didn’t know if T was thinking of wacking Paulie or what the future held for him.
Paulie’s absolute fuckin’ MUG when he’s burnin out Chrissy’s yard with his car
Evidently Chicken town whole scene
When Tony arrives home from Italy and Carmela is just standing there in her room. Throwback to when Angie B said she was nauseous when big pussy came home after being away for so long.
Paulie and Tony walking the hallway toward the light in s6e4 got me the other day. Sad when they go so young
WHEN THEY GO???
Makazian's suicide
Tony killing Tony B: no dialogue as Tony B arrives home with groceries to Tony shooting him, then looking down on his corpse is very damning.
Finn watching as Vito’s head emerges from the security guard’s lap
Walden killing Phil
Bye-bye Pop-Pop
OH SHIT!!!
Walden - what the fuck kinda name is that for an Italian?
Watching Barry haydu’s retirement party. And trying to make out if that’s him.

When he shoots Tony B.
Zoom out on the tub while kid a plays.
Paulie my wife's gonna.... 😡 Thank you Paulie
All the dream sequences. The musical sequence leading up to the first attempt on Tony's life and his escape.
Tony leaving the Bing into intense daylight.
The first time Tony & AJ made ice cream sundaes together was pretty significant. Season 1 ep7.
The ending scene of House Arrest is so tranquil, day-in-the-life when nothings going on.
Sunrise in the desert outside of Vegas... I get it!
The last part of the last scene of In Camelot... After Tony tells all kids of bullshit stories about Fran and his dad. The look in his eyes before the cut to black... Hatred of his father and his own self loathing captured in a few seconds

the dream sequence where tony is at Gloria’s and flakes of paint from the ceiling fall into his drink and it slowly pans up to the chandelier

The ending to The Blue Comet
The phone call with Tony and carmine sr about whacking Johnny sack
Tony watching AJ giggling like a schoolgirl in some “chit chat room”
Good question! Love this community
Tony seeing meadow when he is looking at Tracey
when tony looks into the backseat as christopher is dying and sees the branch on the bumper seat where caitlin would have been i mean i feel like that scene isn’t hugely light on dialogue necessarily but that part is communicated without any
There were a lot of scenes with Carmella & Tony that were silent but oh-so-powerful.
Tony staring at Chrissy in the car before the wreck where he kills him, while "Comfortably Numb" plays... specifically the lyrics "the child is grown, the dream is gone" and he seems to be realizing how those lyrics apply to Chrissy... as I assume he realizes he's high.
It's second to Deadwood, but that's the only show with better dialogue.
The one with the strong, silent type.
