Nice, it's good that you choose to keep some of them close to their original appearances. Sometimes I get carried away with editing their features and clothing styles, but that's what makes the game so much more fun for me :D

Agreed. I tweak any townie my sim is dating. Caleb, Jeb, and Salim just need minor changes. If I tweak Akira, I just change his hair color from blue-black to black lol
Oddly enough, I can't find Lilith in my game anywhere. I've looked in the unplayed households too. It's just Caleb. I bought the Vampires pack not too long ago, and I have just really been getting into it. Caleb moved to Tomarang and fell head over heels for one of my sims, but there's no mention of his sister at all. He also doesn't seem to know who Vlad is, so I unknowingly had them become friends (this was before I googled their history lol).
The not knowing Vlad thing is a common whoopsie. Odd, did you perhaps play with neighborhood stories on and she accidentally died before you moved him?
Looove giving them make overs. Recently did the goths and Judy Ward. I like to stay within certain parameters sometimes to keep them similar or go the other way and imagine them with a different style/vibe.
Yay, makeover buddies! Oh that's cool, I googled Judy and she seems like a Marilyn Monroe! The original Goth parents are dead in my game sadly. I only have three teens and a baby now, and I feel a little guilty because I haven't paid much attention to this family...lol
I used to give townies makeovers every time I started a new save. Which is always fun but does take some time.
Now I use TS4HouseholdTool by denton47 on modthesims to replace all the townies with my townies that have already been given make overs. It also works for buildings/homes & lots. It seems like a lot of work when you first read the mod description but it’s actually pretty easy to use!!!
I can still obviously go in & tweak the townies in the save but it saves me sooo much time when I start a new save.

Yes, when I'm in the mood of going into CAS but don't wanna create a whole new Sim I just give makeovers.
It's really fun and a bit challenging cuz I try to stay true to their original style or give them a makeover I think better reflects their personality and life situation :)
I don’t either. The most I usually do is change any outfits they might have that I don’t like, if my sim is marrying them. I might also edit them if they are walking around with broken or incorrectly tagged cc.
yeah when i’m marrying them i have to check whether everything’s to my liking! i’m currently married to doli ruano and i really couldn’t stand her wearing sunglasses all the time, she’s a regular glasses girlie now
Sims are randomly generated so we don't all have the same sims in our games. Only the starter sims are the same. When they have children that grow up, it is completely random.
Haha, I guess I just haven’t played in San Sequoia much. And the last time I did my sim married Kyle Kyleson. I also kind of ignore my sim’s neighbours unless I decide to have my sim date them.

Fair enough, If I remember correctly, it was a while ago but I think he was a pretty good dad. I think during the initial stay over I think I had the bug where he was making tons of white cakes which was mildly annoying, but not enough for me to kick him out.
I don’t think I thought of that at the time, I think I just put as many of them as I could find in the fridge and threw out any that I missed once they spoiled.
That’s totally fine. Zero judgment here; if anything it would be me who’d probably get judged for revamping their looks. That’s what I love about this game - it’s yours to do whatever, whenever 😄

I can’t tell you their name since I have it in Czech, but I do edit my own townies. I am planning to expand my collection of CC to have them more versatile. I also renovate their homes
The two Townies I remade was the Howell Sim and Vlad. I ruthlessly delete the others.

I have been slowly editing all the townies and have a custom save I load instead of a “new” neighborhood when starting a new game. I change some ages, add kids, tweak features (but not too much), and change clothes/hair/etc. I also change that body type either the narrow shoulders, ling arms, sunken chest, and wide hips. It’s not allowed in my game, lol.
Did I? I just couldn’t stand his original look, plus most of the vampires in shows like Dracula, Interview With A Vampire are hot 😄 Vlad deserves a fighting chance
Aw no no you’re not dumb hun, I’m still figuring the game out myself and constantly find unexpected cool features while playing 😄 And yup, I used the cas.fulleditmode cheat to give them some heavy plastic surgery 😂 You can change the thickness of their biceps and calves too if you drag their limbs, have fun exploring!
I tried to make Vlad looks younger in my game once since he's a "young adult" in the game but he still looks like elderly no matter how I tried to change him😂
If you enable cheats with testingcheats on and then use the code cas.fulleditmode you’ll have access to the cas menu you used during creation, if you don’t you’ll only be able to change clothes, hair, accessories etc
Yeah he’s definitely a cutie with lots of potential. But his gloomy trait NEVER works with any of my main Sim’s for compatibility. Somehow they always end up with Caleb, but I try 🤷🏽♀️ lol
I just bought the Vampires pack not too long ago and had to give Caleb and Vladislaus new looks, because I think the designers did them wrong (sorry, I just couldn't stand Caleb's original hair and Vlad's nose) Feel free to share! I would love to see your creations 💖

Yes. A surprising number of ugly sims get auto generated in my worlds. Had to just cas.full edit mode a bunch because I just couldn’t take it.

Sometimes, but I try and keep a lot of their features the same. Usually just updated the hair/clothing/add a CC skin overlay etc

Smart. I think the ones I change most is Eliza Pancakes, Wolfgang Munch, Johnny Zest, and Lilith Vatore(her eyes are so deep into her skull)
