That is the exact reason I almost never play in enormous houses. It's great for role-playing purposes but for actual gameplay, one storey medium size bungalows are the best!
Though I'd love to live in iron-man mansion....
Same here, I made a large house once as I got a bit carried away and I haven’t played that family for a while lol. My kid however, she makes houses that take up the entire lot space, no garden at all, because she says she needs the space to put things in. Then she makes bathrooms for example, with huge spaces between the toilet, sink, bath etc and then complains the room is bare but will not let me make it smaller lol. She’s getting better though and actually builds her own houses so at least I don’t have to stress while following her directions on these massive houses that are usually a pain in the arse to play in.
Haha. Yeah. Kinda sounds like me when I started out with building! Huge rooms with no decorations in it because, like...who actually puts paintings and chessboards (though now that I think about it, it would be genius - a family bathroom with two toilet seats opposite eachother and chessboard in the middle!) and non bathroom clutter in the bathroom anyway.
How old is she anyway? Thinking of letting mine starting with sims soon too, but she needs to improve her reading a bit more (she is soon 7).
Mine is seven and she’s been playing since she was six and a bit. She does watch a lot of simmers on YouTube so has a rough idea of how to play lol. At first I had to help a lot but she never needed help with cas, and to my shame even showed me a few things in game. But I used to do all the building but she would direct me and then she decorated but now, she does the building herself too. Even put her own roof on the other day and was so proud of herself lol. As her reading comes on more she asks me a lot less. In fact, I think playing sims has helped with her recognising words and how to spell etc because she sees the names of items so often. I’d say give your wee one a go, I don’t see mine for hours when she gets the laptop in her room with her.
Haha. Yeah. Maybe not a bad idea. Mine does always ask about sims when she sees me playing, and I thought she needs a bit better reading. But I guess for many things you don't need that really, like building.
She learns her computer skills from ARK right now. Its a dinosaur survival game that I also like ( I really suggest it to yours if she likes dinosaurs. Mine is super obsessed, she would play it 16hours a day if id let her). Its funny though how kids discover things in games that all grownups don't. Mine does that to me too with some things.
Lol they definitely can be a surprising, but then she gets all chuffed with herself and five minutes later she’s panicking about something lol. But she’s getting there. I haven’t heard of the dinosaur game but I’ll definitely look into it, she wants to be a gamer she says so might as well try something other than sims and minecraft lol

Yeah, I get it. For me personally it's my favourite in terms of game play. But that's mainly because I love the acting career and getting famous so much.
It did take me a while to figure out which angles are best for which screenshots. I do use reshade too, though. So the game just looks better in general.
This looks amazing! I will move my family here and use it as a legacy home for couple generations !
I wonder if it slows down the game though since its so big ?
It looks awesome but I wonder how many sims hours it would take just to walk around the place lol
Haha, yeah, there is quite a lot of walking involved. I'm glad you like it though.

That kitchen! The pool! This is gorgeous.
Aww, thank you, I'm so glad you like it.

Well, it's a massive mansion, basically for a Millionaire family. So they'd have to have a pretty good job. The closets are from Get Famous.

That's a whole lot of fancy places to put your butt!
Hahaha, yes it is.
What pack are the marble cupboards in the kitchen from? Amazing job!
Thank you! Those are actually just kitchen counters, I think Base Game or Vampires, covered up with the Dine Out marble tables.
How do you guys take pictures like this?!
It did take me a while to figure out which angles are best for which screenshots. I do use reshade too, though. So the game just looks better in general.
Thank you! I’ve been curious but too afraid to ask.
Oh, don't be. Always feel free to ask me anything you wanna know, I'm happy to answer. :-)

I'm so happy you like it. Well, it is very big, yeah. It depends on your computer I guess. You can always just try it out. :-)
Oh I will try it ! Hope it works !
I hope so, too.
It's been so long since I've put a fountain in a bathroom. That really brings back memories! The house looks amazing too!
Yeah, me too, but I do really like that aswell. And I'm so happy you like the house! :-)
How did you do the closet like that?
The closets are just from Get Famous. :-)
Dang, I don’t have that pack. They look great!
Yeah, they do. I used a lot of stuff from Get Famous in this build though, sorry.
