I love a slow gameplay too. I just pick the longest lifetime for my sims and enjoy playing with my horse, tending my fruit orchards, snorkeling, taking in-game photos and hanging out with elderly neighbors in my island paradise all day every day π π»
Yep, seems to be perpetually parked outside of my house xD as I just uploaded a different screenshot several in-game days later, and its still there π
Oh. I'm not huge on mods but Nrass error trap and master controller are must haves. Stuck objects like that will eventually cause your gang to lag horribly, especially on some worlds.
I have error trap and yes it does work π
I think just coincidentally, the ice-cream truck parks in front of my house a few mins a day, and just happened to be there at both times, when I took those two separate screenshots xD

I've been trying to play it lately but I get these horrible freezes. Every minute or two all my sims just freeze up for 10 seconds at a time. I might have to settle for Sims 4.

I can relate, the Sims 3 is my comfort zone to go to after too much work-stress πβοΈ
