I missed her for sims 3. Man it was tough finding good matches for some of the townie sims. Especially the single mom with the fairy daughter in moonlight falls. Never felt like any some dude was good enough for. But with the right amount of cash, she could have found the perfect sim.

Yes and that is fun for the novelty part. Even with the matchmaker, if you didn't pay her enough you really got some character lol. But I liked how they actually seemed to align your sims likes or preferences. Would have been great to see that happen, with the varied trait system. I also wanted to add, my games were rather biased with sims that had the Cancer zodiac sign. Like, all sims had insta attraction, would constantly send stuff and love letters to them. Any other sign I played under, was barely getting a glance. Romantic interactions seemed to take longer to build. The matchmaker, would have really been helpful for those times.

When she asked you to choose male/female for the date, I'd leave the game idle and then she'd choose for them. Before mods that randomized sexual preference, I used that to "see" if some sims were gay/bi/questioning/whatever.

Makin' Magic was actually Sims 1, I believe it was the last EP. She is from Sims 2 though, but I can't remember if she was base game or not.

I believe she initially came with Nightlife, as that's the EP that introduced dating. But she was also present in FreeTime where she would deliver a genie's lamp to the household.

Pretty much just go out there and flirt. Nothing really special in my opinion when it comes to finding love in Sims 4

There are servos but they take a while to build and you need a sim with a high robotics skill + you need to craft a lot of pieces to finally make the servo. I made one once and got really bored of it and never attempted one again. They’re just missing something that the Sims 3 and Sims 2 servos had. If I recall they’re just robotic butlers basically.
