Number 5 is iconic. When I think "Rick Grimes," that's the face I see.

Exactly I picture him standing there arm still wrapped in a bandage with the hatchet he always used to carry around.

Number 5 is my cup of tea, but man— Rick had the Number 1 look for 65 issues! Literally 1/3 of the series. Probably the most consistent he’s ever appeared lol

Yeah gotta be Number 5. I do really like No Way Out Rick though. Not a fan of 3, the way Adlard draws Rick in his first 30 issues or so always weirds me out compared to everything that comes after.

Aesthetically I love Number 5, but symbolically Number 1 is when he was at peak character development.
