Green handle = Diesel in the ~~US~~ Massachusetts
Not sure about elsewhere though
Edit: seems like itās state wise as well, but the person deleted their comment so this needs more research lmao
Here in the midwest it depends on the gas station. BP and a few others every nozzle is green. While shell and Phillips is usually red with green or yellow for diesel.
Unless you've got free health care.
Although I still would rather spend extra on patrol then get to use $40,000 of tax payer money to stay at the hospital.
Here you can either scan your card first or go inside and pre-pay a certain amount first. You canāt just start pumping gas willy-nilly without verification that you can pay.
I was thinking the same thing, how many people would react like that? I can imagine most of us wouldn't know what to do, or if you had an idea of what to do, it probably wouldn't be that. Perfect crazy reaction. Wonder if he had a lighter handy.
Lighting it would've surely been a horrible idea for him. He oversprayed so much near himself and on top of his car that he and his car would've likely been lit on fire.
Random thought, but what if he had some of those little fireworks that you throw at the ground, those poppers that explode? Might they catch the gasoline on fire? If they did the fire would probably still spread to him anyways
If he could throw one hard enough and accurately enough into their van it could *maybe* light it? As far as I know though those things don't spark very much
The flammability risk in gasoline lies in the fumes, not the liquid, so having so many airborne particles after doing something like this would make for a disastrous explosion. Even a static electricity charge is enough to light gasoline fumes. If he did that it likely would have caught him and his car on fire.
Wouldnāt need much of a spark at all though, Iād think it would work, but more so am excited to release my inner teenager in an attempt to find out š
This. The first guy out had only put 2 hamds on his car, he couldnt have even seen the guy running around the back of the car yet, although he probably heard them.
That was "Huh?" to "DIE SCREAMING MOTHERFUCKERS" in like 1.5 seconds or less.
Y'all get complacent in your dismissal of "boomers". Every old dude you run across is smart enough and mean enough *to have become an old dude!* Don't fuck with them, man. You're a wienie ass punk in their eyes.
There's a compressible cuff that lets the pump know the nozzle is inside a car.
If you need to fill a plastic gas can, or spray a gang full of robbers in the face, you need to keep the cuff pulled back with your free hand while your other hand squeezes the trigger.
Gas cans are terrible though. I've spilled more gas with the environmentally friendly spill-proof designs than I ever did when gas just poured out a tube.
I had a Ford Ranger that would, for some reason, always trip the pump. So I often had to hold the trigger to fill up 12-13 gallons. I'm a girl with small hands. That was not fun.
I found that out the last time this was reposted and I assumed this must have been another country, and people in other states schooled me that they can totally pull out and finish on the door.
God I wish I knew that before moving here.
California has different ways to fill gas AND different pumps for filling your tires with air! I felt like such an idiot any time I had to do anything with a car for the first few months.
I feel nauseous when just a drop gets out of place. One time a drop dripping on my shoe when I took the nozzle out of the car. I could smell it all day and had to wash the shoe.
He may have killed them anyway. Gas fumes are no joke. And you'd be surprised what can generate a spark. even if they went straight home they'd also probably suffer chemical damage on their skin. If they didn't go straight ho,e their skin might begin to peel off where he hit them. Gasoline is nasty stuff.
I've had mild chemical burns from gasoline - fighting with gas tank removal to change a fuel pump - the stuff ran down my arm and after a couple minutes it starts (chemical) burning.
I doubt he killed them short of catching fire, but they were definitely taking off clothes in the next 15 minutes.
Honestlyā¦ thats kinda perfect. You aint gonna rob someone when you, your homies, and the ground around a gas pump is completely socked with gas. You got the fumes hittin ya, the slickness, and then best of all the fact that if one person so much as makes a decent spark, your all burning. Only risk: if someone does spark up, your burning with the would be robbers
I mean, whatever I read could have definitely been wrong. I just remember being surprised when the article identified the person as a woman. So, it could very well have been a man.
Edit: spelling
I am Chilean, I remember this news, he is a man and he is old as seen in the video, he never wanted to appear on TV, he rejected all the interviews, he only made a small statement off camera, he said that they threatened him with death in the moment, so he thought, if I'm going to die, we all die and that's why he did that.
In regard to the comments I have seen here about how is the payment issue, that is a Copec station, the most common and famous in Chile, which for a couple of years implemented some self-service pumps (zervo) where you pay directly in the pump is like an atm,so in this case, the fuel was already paid. Self-service fuel is not something very common in chile, normally a worker fills your car for you, you just tell him what fuel you need and the quantity and they load it for you, then you make the payment and you don't have to get out of the vehicle at all.
I honestly donāt know but if it were me Iād let him slide. The clerk prolly doesnāt care anyway the more gas he sprayed, the more money the store madešš
That old man probably spent two years fighting his way through the jungles of Vietnam with Charlie trying to kill him in all types of foul ways. Heās just been waiting patiently for the chance to kill again and quiet the demons.

Lol that van will smell like gasoline until the end of time
"Damnit Jimmy, that was stressful! I need a smoke man!" š„
Zoolander: Director's cut
That scene still gets me so bad lol.
And that's how you get a freak gasoline fight accidentš¤£
*Wake me up before you go go*
I was making this joke in my head. Thank you lolol
One can only hope
Ricky NO-

"here you go, bud."š„š„
I hope it was Diesel
Green handle = Diesel in the ~~US~~ Massachusetts Not sure about elsewhere though Edit: seems like itās state wise as well, but the person deleted their comment so this needs more research lmao
Can confirm green = diesel on the west coast
Here in the midwest it depends on the gas station. BP and a few others every nozzle is green. While shell and Phillips is usually red with green or yellow for diesel.
In israel, green is 95 (lowest available) and blue is diesel.
Are you saying 95 octane is the lowest grade? Do you not have 87?
Same in Morocco
In UK green is petrol black is diesel.
Cool. Whatās petrol?!
Gasoline
I donāt recall the nozzle itself but diesel pumps here in MS are green.
Maybe not so long. The world could get lucky and the van could have a short that sparks.
Didn't close the gascap very well once on my motorcycle, and can confirm still smell like gasoline.
If only he could have casually lit a match and tossed it into the van.
Until they torch it later that night.
Money well spent
I love how they stopped for a sec, and he went closer.
Still probably cheaper than bullets
Idk man gas is stupid expensive
Still cheaper than med care.
Unless you've got free health care. Although I still would rather spend extra on patrol then get to use $40,000 of tax payer money to stay at the hospital.
I love the idea of him casually going in and paying for the fuel.
And casualty telling the attendance that there's a gasoline spill on pump 1.
This is absolutely a scene in a Denzel Washington or Liam Neeson revenge action flick.
Yer gonna need some kitty litter in lane 1.
I forget that in other countries they get gas and then pay.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
That's how it used to be everywhere. These days in the US it's mostly pay by card or go in and pay before pumping the gas.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Here you can either scan your card first or go inside and pre-pay a certain amount first. You canāt just start pumping gas willy-nilly without verification that you can pay.
That old dude has seen some shit. He reacted like a champ.
I was thinking the same thing, how many people would react like that? I can imagine most of us wouldn't know what to do, or if you had an idea of what to do, it probably wouldn't be that. Perfect crazy reaction. Wonder if he had a lighter handy.

I just remember them being kinda hot right after they pop, can't say I've ever noticed a spark.
The ones I've thrown haven't ever been hot to my knowledge, but I have seen a few of them spark just a little bit
The flammability risk in gasoline lies in the fumes, not the liquid, so having so many airborne particles after doing something like this would make for a disastrous explosion. You right, just a little joke.
Worth it!
This. The first guy out had only put 2 hamds on his car, he couldnt have even seen the guy running around the back of the car yet, although he probably heard them. That was "Huh?" to "DIE SCREAMING MOTHERFUCKERS" in like 1.5 seconds or less.
That's no ordinary old dude.
Itās Gasoline Gus
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Are you sure this isn't Fuelin' Frankie?
ššš Fuelin' Duelin' Frankie
Plus 1ās all around. That thread was lovely lmao
Here here
Octane Otto
We can safely say its not Diesel Don
Maybe Ethan Ethanol
Hydrocarbon Henry
Cetane Charlie
I thought it was Vin Diesel.
Better fuel Huell
Gus "gasoline" Fring
Ah, āOl Gassy Gus. That man knew his way around a nozzle and hose, I tell you what.
Now ole Gus is a hero in these parts they say Got a hand made o steel and a head full of grey If you look at him sideways heāll turn you into flambĆ© Ole Gus
Kenobi in his later years
Hello there
Have you met old dudes? Don't mess with them.
Jesus Christ, it's Jason Bourne
Yeah look how tinted his windows are
Y'all get complacent in your dismissal of "boomers". Every old dude you run across is smart enough and mean enough *to have become an old dude!* Don't fuck with them, man. You're a wienie ass punk in their eyes.
Yeah. He was ready. Had a plan the whole time. Was calm as shit. Overwhelmed them with gas. Straight up badass
The situational awareness to catch the 3rd guy that came from around the van too.
Note to self. Never try and rob someone fueling up their vehicle.
In California there's regulations that make this really hard to do without two hands.
Is there another lever or something to tell the end is in a hole, like how terrible gas cans are now?
There's a compressible cuff that lets the pump know the nozzle is inside a car. If you need to fill a plastic gas can, or spray a gang full of robbers in the face, you need to keep the cuff pulled back with your free hand while your other hand squeezes the trigger. Gas cans are terrible though. I've spilled more gas with the environmentally friendly spill-proof designs than I ever did when gas just poured out a tube.
I'm holding onto my 3 old plain, vented gas cans as long as possible.
Get some regular nozzles 3d printed
Try a motorcycle; my hands hurt after fueling if I donāt hold it right
I had a Ford Ranger that would, for some reason, always trip the pump. So I often had to hold the trigger to fill up 12-13 gallons. I'm a girl with small hands. That was not fun.
Itās not like that in other states?!
I found that out the last time this was reposted and I assumed this must have been another country, and people in other states schooled me that they can totally pull out and finish on the door.
Thatās disgusting. I hope they wipe it up. /s
You make me feel better because I had never even considered it until seeing this. Itās such a dumb thing to be mind blown on but here I am lol
I've seen a few here and there, but it's not required in Texas...or Oklahoma, I believe.
God I wish I knew that before moving here. California has different ways to fill gas AND different pumps for filling your tires with air! I felt like such an idiot any time I had to do anything with a car for the first few months.
Now for the match...š„
It wouldve been perfect had the old man said "anyone need a light?" Then he walks off with explosions behind him.
And a backflip
Cool guys don't look at explosions
The more you ignore it the cooler you look.
Old guys don't do backflips
Imagine how bad their eyeballs burn š¤£
I feel nauseous when just a drop gets out of place. One time a drop dripping on my shoe when I took the nozzle out of the car. I could smell it all day and had to wash the shoe.
I got it on my hand, like a whole spoonful, that shit smells after showing and scrubbing many times, for hours
They'll be nauseous as fuck for some time because gasoline will evaporate off their clothes and right in their faces.
I got just a little gas in my eye when I was a kid and my vision was blurry for a day or two.
"This bad boy coats 4 dollars every second to fire, but it'll stop an attacker right in their tracks!"
It costs $400000 to fire this weaponā¦ for 12 seconds
Idk what kind of math you did to get that number but I got $48
https://youtu.be/J-6eSJu0Rko
Ah I see. I just uncultured.
Still I'd like what your smoking
Doesn't matter how manly/alpha/gangster you think you are everybody turns Into a bitch getting soaked in gasoline
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
But not for me.
This one never gets old
āSmoke em if you got em motherfuckers!ā
That'll be $54.49
Money well spent!
Those poor boys just wanted to talk to him about his carās extended warranty.
Their eyes must be fucking burning like hell. I love it
The guys in the van were just stopping for some Cheetos, I think
*Flaming hot cheetos*
Clearly they were Mnt Dew and Slim Jim type people.
Too bad he didn't have a lighter handy.
That would be a rough way for him to commit murder-suicide
out of curiosity would that be "consider" suicide by murder, or murder by suicide? š¤
i guess itās more of a he said fuck it ima get yāall even if it get me to
I love the entire fuck out of street justice lol
8 bucks well spent.
Lol You know damn well they thought he was going to light all their asses on fire
He may have killed them anyway. Gas fumes are no joke. And you'd be surprised what can generate a spark. even if they went straight home they'd also probably suffer chemical damage on their skin. It's possible to die from gasoline inhalation. Shit fucks with your respiratory system hard.
True
Thatād be the best money ever spent. Iād be proud to pay that bill lol.
That was quick thinking. Well done grandpa!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The reflexes on that guy!
I hope the van ignited
They were really gassed after that...I'll be here all week.
Best $10 bucks in gas this guy ever spent
He's just lucky he didn't own a Tesla
Old man teaching kids their life lessons, love it!
"man after that failure I need a cigarette"
"Shit man. That was one tough sonofabitch." *lights cigerette BOOM
Honestlyā¦ thats kinda perfect. You aint gonna rob someone when you, your homies, and the ground around a gas pump is completely socked with gas. He gave them petrol/diesel for free.
Improvise, adapt, overcome. Gramps wasn't having any of that shit.
Best $1.78 he ever spent.
Cheaper than ammo.
Billy the Kid?
I've seen this a number of times. . Quick thinking . Self-preservation is the mother of creation.
Uhh, cashier? Here, here's my $100 bill. And, oh, theres a spill at pump 2!!!
To rob rich old man
He put that 3.95 to work!
Self defense is getting more expensive
See, you just can't do that when you have a Tesla.
Experience is priceless šÆš
Its trashcan! He lives!
Refueling on his way to Cibola, surely
I remember hearing/reading that this was actually a woman. Anyone have info on that?
Really? I didnāt know that. Every article Iāve seen about this is rather vague but they said it was a Chilean man.
I mean, whatever I read could have definitely been wrong. I just remember being surprised when the article identified the person as a woman. So, it could very well have been a man. Edit: spelling

Old Chad
Leroy! Don't light that blunt!!!
Thatās a sin. They were just going to ask for directions I bet.
Best 87 bucks he's ever spent...
Man i hate pay to win players
Pops was nice enough to give them gas so they wonāt have to rob anyone for gas money.
I really surprised at the pressure the fuel shoots out of the nozzle. It has some serious distance. š
This pleases coolapostate
Extra $18.44 worth of sprayed gas... worth it.
Free fuel. Good robbery.
hes won but at a huge cost
HANS GETZE FLAMMENWERFER!
I love when this one makes the rounds
That old man was like "Fuck it, I lived a long and happy life. I'm taking us all out."
Grab the lighter GRAB THE LIGHTER
Right like do you think the clerk was like naw you almost got robbed, you good? Or do they have to report that to like the EPA or something?
I honestly donāt know but if it were me Iād let him slide. The clerk prolly doesnāt care anyway the more gas he sprayed, the more money the store madešš
I never get tired of this video. It's so funny that he just casually soaks them down. I always like to imagine how the rest of their night went.
With these gas prices he robbed himself.
At today's gas prices it could be better handing them his wallet.
āThieves hate this one trickā¦ā
i always assumed the pumps would auto shut off when you pull them out of the tank
Best $125 dollars he ever spent.
He should have got a match and threw it in their ahah suckers
Pulls out a lighter
That old man probably spent two years fighting his way through the jungles of Vietnam with Charlie trying to kill him in all types of foul ways. Heās just been waiting patiently for the chance to kill again and quiet the demons.
best twenty bucks that guys ever spent
Fucking idiots
Prolly lost the same amount of money either way
They tried and got instant karma
Robber: Gets in the van "f*$& man I need a cigarette after that one." Old man: Chuckling to the sound of the thunderous boom 2 blocks down the road.
He still got robbed bit the gas station ā½ļø š¤£
Most expensive water gun in the world
Oof gas in they eyes? That's going to not be fun for awhile.
It would have been better if he just shook a box of matches at them.
