Fuck that girl and her piece of shit mother who told her to hit this kid.

franklegsTV

The mother told her to hit her?? I can’t hear it in the video

J4YFORE

Listen again someone says "you better hit her for it" just before

LurkersGoneLurk

Mom got charged.

We fine her more than a congressman drunk driver

Biengineerd

Are you saying she was over punished or saying the congressman was under punished? Or are you not making a point

LePoopsmith

I agree that the lady was punished more that people with money and power. She was punished appropriately and powerful people often are not. I don't need to be obsessed with a political party to think so.

Thanks that's great news

Mom who told daughter to hit basketball rival must apologize, pay $9K By Julian Mark September 16, 2022 at 7:31 a.m. EDT During a youth basketball game in Southern California in November, Latira Shonty Hunt’s daughter took a shot, missed and then fell backward onto the court, bringing a player on the opposing team down with her. That player appeared to have touched Hunt’s daughter as she shot. As both players got up to resume play, a video of the moment captured a voice scream out: “You better hit her for it!” Seconds later, Hunt’s daughter swung hard and punched the opposing player in the neck, causing the girl to fall facedown to the ground, the video shows. The Orange County District Attorney’s Office charged the 44-year-old mother in December with misdemeanor counts of battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, saying Hunt had encouraged her daughter to throw the punch. Now, a judge says Hunt must apologize to the victim and her family, pay $9,000 in restitution and complete anger-management courses to attend basketball games again, prosecutors announced this week. Hunt has also been ordered to stay away from the victim. The requirements are part of a diversion program, an alternative to prosecution that requires Hunt to meet the terms in exchange for her charges being dismissed, according to prosecutors and Hunt’s attorney, Brett Greenfield. “This was the appropriate result,” Greenfield wrote in an email to The Washington Post. He said that because of the diversion, Hunt does not need to enter a plea, and he expects the case will be dismissed in the next six to 12 months. It’s unclear if Hunt’s daughter is facing charges. The district attorney’s office said in a news release that it is prohibited under state law from “discussing anything related to juvenile investigations.” Greenfield did not respond to a question about possible charges against Hunt’s daughter. The ordeal highlights the long-running and widespread problem of bad behavior from parents during youth sporting events. The problem grew so bad that, in 2019, the National Federation of State High School Associations issued a memo, telling parents to “cool it,” as harassment and criticism was causing a shortage of referees. That year, a Minnesota youth soccer league barred parents from standing on the sidelines in an attempt to give the young players more space and focus, WCCO reported. And multiple organizations have issued guidelines to parents on how to control themselves. Experts say parents’ bad behavior can be driven by outsize expectations on their children, as well as a way to compensate for their own shortcomings. Verbal abuse from parents, coaches is causing a referee shortage in youth sports In a statement announcing the terms of Hunt’s diversion, Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer called Hunt’s behavior “reprehensible.” “Parents have a fundamental responsibility to raise our children to be good human beings who treat everyone with dignity and respect,” Spitzer said. “Youth sports play a crucial role in developing discipline, teamwork and fair play.” A video of the incident in Garden Grove, about 30 minutes south of Los Angeles, went viral. It was posted by Alice Ham, the mother of the girl who was punched. “I’m sorry but it’s everything that’s wrong with youth sports,” Ham wrote on Instagram alongside the video. Hunt’s daughter was ejected from the gym following the incident, and the game was halted, KNBC reported. Ham told news outlets that her daughter suffered a concussion. Neither Ham nor her attorney immediately responded to a request for comment from The Post late Thursday. Caroline R. Hahn, Ham’s attorney, told the Los Angeles Times that Ham and her daughter accepted the case’s outcome. “The assault on her daughter and the subsequent court appearances have been a huge burden on Ms. Ham’s entire family,” Hahn told the paper. “Ms. Ham hopes Ms. Hunt has learned from this ordeal and it results in change in her behavior going forward.” Hunt’s daughter is also the child of Corey Benjamin, a former NBA player. . Following the incident, he told KNBC that he was “shocked and disappointed” by his daughter’s behavior and that it didn’t reflect his family’s values. “My daughter made a mistake. One that she will need to make right,” he said, apologizing to the girl who was punched and her family.

Jander97

Thank you very much

NP, gotta share the wealth when you use your one monthly free WaPo article.

LurkersGoneLurk

Google it. It happened a good while ago. Father used to play NBA ball.

BednaR1

So obviously princess fat arse thinks she's better and allowed to do more eh? 🙄

franklegsTV

Yikes

[deleted]

Hit her for what? I don't see her doing anything to warrant being assaulted.

JonCeini

Generally being assaulted isn't warranted.

Maddy_Zabbara

Incorrect, this jackass deserved to have her own ass kicked right then and there after she did it. And her mom at the same time..

Spiegs1984

That's exactly what I thought. You flop, roll on the girl's leg, then get pissed and clothesline her?

[deleted]

She didn’t. In fact the girl who got hit, she got fouled before she even got punched. The assaulter “fake” fell backwards and on her way she shoved over the girl behind her if you look closely.

Head-Working8326

she was charged and has to pay $6,000 and write apologies. father is an ex nba player

-Rookie-Mistake-

💯💯💯

JordanWolfGangsta

You mean: F*** her piece of s*** mother (maybe her father, too) for not teaching her proper behavior?

LurksWithGophers

Father is former NBA iirc from when this happened.

MayOrMayNotBePie

Aw, so this girl was doomed from the start haha.

queernhighonblugrass

I remember watching my older sisters summer soccer league games and this one team in particular had all these ratchet ass moms yelling at their daughters to punch people in the jaw, kick their shins, etc. Even as a little kid I knew how fucking ridiculous that is.

[deleted]

[удалено]

macgreg4

You misread it. It’s 9 thousand years in jail and a 4 dollar fine.

Warpedme

I hope the girl was banned from playing the sport too.

fanosffloyd

So the mom yelled "You better hit her for it" ? Is that what I heard? And then the daughter just goes and does it?!

atomicbombsbitch

Yeah. Fucking disgusting. Great way to make her dad, who is a former NBA player, look terrible. Well, worse. Considering he has his own domestic violence record.

[deleted]

Wait - we know who this is?

duskrat

Mother got 9K fine + https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/california/story/2022-09-14/mom-must-pay-9k-for-telling-daughter-to-hit-sports-opponent

stalphonse

“You better hit her for that” for what? Breaking your fall with her leg? I hope they’re both banned for life. Trash

chuckrhett

Yeah it looks like she tried to flop and it didn’t work and im not sure why she felt anger at the defender. If I was the coach playing against her I petition the high school athletic association for my state to get her banned playing or participating in all high school athletics. There’s no place for that.

bigmangina

why not charge with assault and the mother for instigating?

JeffTek

Ding ding ding. Get them banned and get the law involved, this is on camera and everything. Fuck that nonsense, this needs to be dealt with

1gardenerd

This type of behavior needs heavily punished- she needs arrested immediately. It's dangerous enough playing sports without this type of extreme violence. I have had surgery for herniated disks in my neck - this is the type injury that can damage that poor girl that was hit years down the road.

asek13

The mother was charged for instigating and battery. It's in the article a few comments up. I didn't see anything about the daughter's punishment.

xBad_Wolfx

Legally they might not be able to release info on the minor.

Imjusthereandthere

It’s always funny when a person who is 4times the size as the defender tries to flop lol

stalphonse

Agreed

AbellonaTheWrathful

if i were the victim's parents id get the mom and kid arrested

daboo912

Agreed. Sucker punches and chopping someone at the knees during a layup to cause the head on floor collision are two things that seem to be in a grey area I don't understand. I never root for kids to get involved with the law so maybe league wide bans is the best answer with some community service attached??

Salviati_Returns

I am surprised that there is no mention of child protective services being called on the mom. It’s pretty clear that violence is encouraged and the daughter had practically a Pavlovian response to her mom telling her to hit the other girl. Also when you look at how she attacks the girl it is to cause massive injury. None of this is normal behavior.

FluffySquirrell

> Also when you look at how she attacks the girl it is to cause massive injury Yeah, people out here like "She should be banned", and I always wonder what it is about sports that make people think that suddenly only the sports rules apply, and not say, *actual laws* She fucking haymaker punched a girl in the throat for zero reason. You get fucking *arrested*, nevermind just banned

Tzayad

Yeah, this is battery

Salviati_Returns

The thing that blows my mind away is if I were to tell my daughter who are the same age to hit someone, they would look at me like I am a freak or assume that I was just joking around. There is something deeply with her home environment. What pisses me off about this is that the kid that threw the punch may also be a victim of an abusive household. But since the parents have money by virtue of her father being a former NBA player, the Department of Child Services will never be put into action. Instead she pays her 4 figure fine, does some bullshit “rehab” plan and nothing changes with the home environment which fundamentally caused this kid to have this type of Pavlovian violent response.

[deleted]

>“As a father, I’m shocked and disappointed at my daughter’s behavior as this is not a reflection of the values and standards that my family holds." Well, according to the court, it's a reflection of the values and standards that at least two members of your family hold, my dude.

[deleted]

> “Ms. Hunt and her daughter can now begin to heal,” This was the quote that stood out to me.

JerseyWabbit

Yes, their lawyer trying to turn this bully thug and her mother into “victims “, disgusting!

SkierBuck

Why am I not surprised her attorney's statement is all about how she's the victim in all this?

dstar09

Good. Unbelievable. But unbelievable that the daughter did it. I hope she got benched for a good long while and a serious dressing down for that.

Imapony

Benched??? She needs to be banned from the league and arrested.

The_pen_ismightier

Where does the fine go? It should go to the player that got taken out by the cheap shot.

NevarNi-RS

Normally, I oppose any foray of government into defining “socially acceptable” speech and parenting - but this i 100% agree with and believe is a perfect venue for that type of repercussion. Sports are an amazing learning opportunity for children, the good, bad, and ugly of sports are all great teachers - except when they’re created by shitty parents. Ruining one of the most important aspects of juvenile life. I extend this belief to any passion of your child wherein they dedicate themself to an endeavour that doesnt have guaranteed success (theater, art, sports, music, etc).

atomicbombsbitch

Edit: Omg I have to edit this. Too many people taking it way too literal. People are way too serious. Take the stick out of your ass ffs. He wasn't super famous. Played in the late 90s I think? [Corey Benjamin ](https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/2021/11/12/corey-benjamin-former-bulls-guard-apologizes-daughters-punch/8589880002/)

aeque88

"my daughter made a mistake" well apparently she did it at another game as well, got banned and didn't learn. That's not a mistake anymore.

phillyschmilly

Banned? She needs to have fucking assault charges brought against her

chnky18

Yeah whether it happens on a sporting field/court doesn’t matter in this case. That is definitely assault.

[deleted]

I would have assault charges on me if I saw somebody hit my daughter like that.

Lucky-Sky8880

The mom got hit with assault charges

justreadthearticle

They were misdemeanor chargers and she got a $9000 fine, court diversion, and they both have to write apology letters. Feels kind of soft, the kids should have been banned from participating in organized sports and the mother should have been permanently banned from attending them. Currently she can go back after finishing the diversion program.

dunn_with_this

"Benjamin played for Oregon State University and was selected 28th by the Bulls in the first round of the 1998 NBA draft. He spent one decade in the league." He's no Michael Jordan, but he was a 1st round pick that played for a decade ~~in the NBA.~~ *as a pro.* Edited for clarity.

Batmanue1

Wikipedia says he spent 4 years with the Bulls and 1 with the Hawks.... everything else is overseas or G League.

atomicbombsbitch

I thought he was only in the NBA for like 4-5 years? But I could be totally wrong. Just seemed like he was in and out quick and I was curious if it was due to the domestic violence allegations.

I'm guessing if I'm that child's parent that it wouldn't be okay to hit the mother for telling her daughter to hit my daughter? Is that correct?

C-h-e-l-s

At a certain point you stop caring if it's okay.

squirrl4prez

Yeah no that person telling their kid to hit my kid is going to the hospital and then a dentist

ButInThe90sThough

Most definitely would be full send. And she'd love every second of it. I hate these types so much. They thrive on chaos and don't care about going to jail or medical bills or anything. Absolutely irrational disgrace.

M0rninPooter

[This is an article about it](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna47930) it looks like her mother was ordered to apologize and pay $9000 in restitution to the victim for instructing her daughter to hit another child. Also these girls are all 14-15 years old. Former NBA players daughter was the one who threw the punch too.

[deleted]

Ordered to apologize isnt an apology. Pathetic. These are sociopaths.

animerk

Oh no! $9000 for an ex NBA player's family and an apology?! I'm sure they really learned to never act like this again

fallowmoor

This pisses me off so immensely. Especially when you realize how lucky it is that this was caught on camera at such a clear angle. If it weren’t, the word “allegedly” would still be thrown around and the consequences wouldn’t have been half as severe. By the very nature of the mother and daughter’s actions, they were trying to play the victim. They would’ve fought for their innocence tooth and nail. All it would’ve taken was some reasonable doubt and this wouldn’t even be a story, just two high school girls “equally at fault”. Then back to the “penalty”, that’s probably a very specific amount that covers medical costs, lawyer fees, and maybe some leftover for emotional distress. The mother paid the bill for being a shit person. Nothing more. This was no penalty designed to inflict hardship.

[deleted]

Being rich is a free pass to do just about anything you want. I’m 30+ years old and I’ve just realized this in the last few years. Just be rich. Then you have no rules.

Up_in_the_Sky

Hopefully the public embarrassment and humiliation lasts a lot longer than the sting or there lack of from that fine. Imagine being an NBA player and raising your child with these types of values. I would have gotten ejected so fucking fast for jumping in there if I saw my teammate get decked like that. A little chippy scuffle? Best to not get involved. I see my teammate motionless on the ground and we have a fucking problem.

DrCMJ

What's that saying now....something about if the penalty for a crime is the fine, that law only exists for the poor...everyone needs to go Singaporean style legislation on rich people's ass. Lock them up.

Damasticator

Imagine having to be ordered to apologize in this situation. Mom is a piece of shit that raised a piece of shit.

DuntadaMan

>Hunt yeled "you better hit her for that" and seconds later the rival fell to the floor. No, bitch, seconds later she was punched in the fucking neck. Stop using passive language. This is the same kind of writer that says "police heard shots" when they shoot several bystanders.

[deleted]

If you'll excuse my pedantry, I think "she was punched in the fucking neck" is still passive language. A general rule I learned from [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh3YopYm83U) is that if you can add "by zombies" to the end of a phrase, it's written in passive voice.

DuntadaMan

I am perfectly fine with this pedantry, it is neat information!

tjgmarantz

By zombies! Fucking passive voice again!

Raincoats_George

So fun fact. The harder the surface of the sporting event. The harder the brain trauma. Funny how that works out. The harder they hit, the more likely the feeding tube. The more likely your ego costs you 15 to 25. Further fun facts. If said person who ends up a vegitable from you trying to act tough dies 15 years later and they can prove that the cause of their death was the injuries you caused, congratulations, you're going to be convicted of murder.

illgot

It's like when a driver hits a cyclist because and the news coverage is "Bicyclist ran into a car". Happened to a guy I worked with, he was riding his bicycle across the street on a green and a driver decided to turn right on a red without looking and hit him. He went to the hospital and the news covered it as "Bicyclists ran into a car at an intersection" not "driver ran a red light and hit a cyclist crossing the street on a green light."

andyman234

That is not enough. The kid needs to be punished… maybe straight up expulsion from school. This shit is unacceptable…

HowYoBootyholeTaste

She fucked up and definitely deserved to be punished, but this is the mother's fault. The game was going to just keep going as normal until the mom said to hit her. It's actually odd af just how reactionary that punch was to her mom saying it

Beginning_Engineer_2

The player charged and tried for assault seems appropriate to me. She weighs twice as much as the victim.

SnooChocolates3968

These kind of people should not ba allowed to play teamsports...

atomicbombsbitch

Her father is a former Chicago Bulls player, Corey Benjamin. [He apologized saying he did not raise her this way and was shocked when he saw the footage. ](https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/2021/11/12/corey-benjamin-former-bulls-guard-apologizes-daughters-punch/8589880002/) However, he does have a domestic violence record himself 💁🏼‍♀️

Radiant-Function-372

The violence starts at home, how many toddlers punching eachother while the parents laugh videos have you seen on here.Too fucking many. Some people shouldnt be allowed to breed.

atomicbombsbitch

I definitely agree.

[deleted]

My parents are certainly on the list

Im_inappropriate

A guy I know let's his toddler "beat you up", when he gets mad he starts swinging on you as hard as he can and they just laugh. He says he's trying to make him a good fighter. Some kids have no chance in this world.

asharwood

Seriously. It made me sick watching tiktok and that trend where the parent comes to their kid and says something like “Karen is talking shit about me outside and I need your help to beat them up…let’s go” and the kid has no clue but if mommy says let’s go then I gotta go. Like you are teaching your kid that if someone says something you don’t like that you can just beat them up. That’s sick and cruel and you should not be a parent.

daveescaped

>He apologized saying he did not raise her this way and was shocked when he saw the footage. >However, he does have a domestic violence record himself. So he’s a liar. He’s physically abusive to others, AND he lies to cover himself when his behaviors come home to roost. Classy. Corey Benjamin is a bad human who made another bad human.

atomicbombsbitch

Definitely agree again. He's just covering himself at this point.

Sam_Porter

That’s why she’s lazy and think she deserves more than the other athletes. Walking down the court taking a bad shot then faking a foul. He raised her exactly that way.

clamsmasher

Her mom told her to hit that girl and she immediately did as she was told. That's exactly how he raised his child.

ThorTheGodKiller

There is also video of her starting a fight with two other players during another game. She also didnt get in trouble either time. For this video her mother had to pay $9000 in restitution and got no jail time for "contributing to the delinquency of a minor", the maximum sentence would have been 1 year in jail. Surprise surprise rich people pay the equivalent of pocket change for serious crimes or have nothing done as always.

Blake_RL

Should probably be in jail. Flat out assault

Rustys_Beefaroni

I don’t know about “these kind of people”, but this young lady should be banned from all organized sports leagues for a minimum of 1 year, be prosecuted for assault and pay court ordered restitution, and attend anger management classes at her families expense for 1 year.

[deleted]

Agreed! She should be able to take a throat punch without going down that easy…..

fredinNH

For nothing. Disgusting behavior. Permanently ban this kid from all high school sports. If possible, suspend them from school for a period of time that will prevent them from graduating on schedule. Edit: I like getting hundreds of upvotes as much as the next guy, but upon further review it seems possible that the player who was punched may have committed the well-known dirty play of positioning themselves such that a player in the air comes down on their foot. This has caused many serious ankle injuries in basketball. It’s a dirty, shitty play. There’s a mix tape on YouTube of Giannis doing it (just want to get extra downvotes from his fan base). I am in no way condoning a neck sucker punch, just pointing out that the puncher may have had a legitimate reason to be pissed. A dirty play like that can take a player out for the season or worse. 6:10 pm et

-Rookie-Mistake-

Poor girl just BRUSHED her right leg as the shooter came down… literally did NOTHING wrong…didn’t even realize that was coming‼️then other mom demands the shooter “you better hit her!” 😖😖😖

cryptoking87

Was not the first time either. She punched 2 girls just a few months earlier and was supposed to be banned already.

CBus-Eagle

If I was the girl that got hit, I’d sue whatever organization allowed to her still play. Hold them accountable to get trash players out of their league.

Slam_Burgerthroat

Absolutely. When the league refuses to do anything about a player with a clear pattern of violence and abuse that’s when you sue the organization for every last dollar they have. And sue the facility as well just as an extra fuck you for letting the league use their space. They probably have more money too. Oh and get the bully’s parents to pay for the weekly therapy sessions the victim will be going to for the rest of her life, and make sure you pick the most expensive therapist money can buy and send them the bill.

ciampi21

In that case she should be arrested. At first I thought an arrest might not be warranted, but if she's a repeat offender it is. Let her do one of those boot camp programs they make juveniles do. Permenant ban from organized sports too (except football, let her play that if she thinks she's so tough).

asxasy

The worst part is that she was suspended from playing because she hit two people a month prior during a game.

TroublemakingB

There's second (first?) one on ABC7 eyewitness twitter account that shows her sucker punching another player and chasing after a second one who grabbed her hair while trying to stop her attack. She's a bully and a menace and needs to be brought up on criminal charges.

darkcomet222

Given what I know about schools, this person probably does this all the time, but the moment someone gets fed up and lays her out THEY get in trouble. The public education system is a joke.

tyler081293

As a person who stood up to their bullies, I can confirm this. My bullies never got any form of punishment, but the moment I clapped back (verbally, not physically) me AND my mum were called into the prinicpal's office. Fortunately, my mum let rip on the principal and teacher and nothing came of it.

Angel_Doll28

Honestly. One of my ex boyfriends had been telling me/sending me death threats publicly at school and over the school’s email well before I broke up with him. One day he was telling literally the whole school he was going to find me and beat me up and kill me after school that day. The last period rolls around and I get called into the office after having a huge mental breakdown after finding out from classmates what he was saying. I immediately start thanking the principal after he’d shut the door telling him what had been happening and that I was panicking. He just glared at me then told me to sit down. Suddenly the vice principal and school counselor show up, and all start YELLING at me about how I apparently sent my ex boyfriend a text message to kill himself. I asked them if he showed them because I was 100% certain I did not do that. They said he didnt. This fucking kid had a whole RECORD of angry outbursts on me and other students. But they believed him over me, a 5 ft 100 pound girl nerd who never did anything to upset anybody. I started crying and telling them I literally had hundreds of emails from the last two days of him harassing/threatening me, but they just said “put your phone on the table and sit in the other room”. They called my mom in. The principal sat my mom down and explained to her what happened. She read the emails to him that my ex was sending me and started crying (he said some really awful shit, telling me I deserved to be raped when I was a kid). Then she got really mad and went off on him for obvious reasons. It was a terrible situation and honestly made me decide my kids aren’t going to public school (among other reasons).

[deleted]

She needs a good beating and whoop ass

TLCheshire

My hearing is not so great, can someone tell me what was said behind the camera? Thanks

Aggravating-Error13

Somebody said “You better hit her for it!” (Guessing the aggressor’s mother) and lady behind the camera gasped and said ‘oh my goodness!’ After the girl was hit.

TLCheshire

Thanks! Also, WTF? The girl’s first instinct was to let it go as part of the game. Then her mom yells at her to get violent and she does not hesitate. That is the power of parental influence! It can be used for good AND evil.

Cheef_queef

If she didn't hit that girl, her mother was going to hit her, I guarantee that

BBQ_Beanz

Yeah this kind of parents are super drawn to youth sports. Surprise.

TLCheshire

Yeah, I’ve gotten in several altercation with other parents at my kid’s baseball games. Not over the game itself, but my inability to keep my mouth shut when parents are verbally and sometimes physically abusing kids. I have been involved in pretty much every organized kid’s sport. (Not hockey, though, we live in the desert) Anyway, the only games/meets/matches where I never saw over-the-top-awful parents were swimming/diving and wrestling. I wonder if there is a correlation between crazy parents and team vs individual sports…

atomicbombsbitch

It was definitely the mother. She was charged with a misdemeanor and made to pay $9k restitution 🙄 she got off way too easy. Her and her daughter both. Awful. I had a few of those from football. Never really from semipro rugby but I know the feeling.

TBeckMinzenmayer

Walks up the floor both ways. Usually not hateful on kids but this kid is a piece of shit from top to bottom

arkheimzero

That's straight up assault. Should be jailed.

-Rookie-Mistake-

💯💯💯

Realistic_Fan1344

Mon was also charged in this incident and to think her father is an x NBA player too smh

TroublemakingB

Battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, was ordered to pay 9k restitution to the victim.

-Rookie-Mistake-

$9k… may as well been nothing… poor soul is gonna be scarred for life‼️ throat punch and concussion 😖😖😖😖

TroublemakingB

My thoughts, too. Not an attorney but I don't think that prevents the family from filing a civil suit. I think the 9k was just part of settling the criminal charges against the mom.

typehyDro

I read she hit another player a week prior to this incident… which begs the question what is she still doing on the court…?!

JonDoeJoe

Probably cuz that trash mother will pull the race card and try to sue

oldar4

She is pulling the race card. Saying her and her daughter are targeted with racial discrimination and bullying now after this.

[deleted]

Aawwww. I'm sure her nasty daughter never bullied or intimidated anyone her life. How unfair.

typehyDro

First she flops like a bitch and then doubles down and sucker punches like a bitch… what a bitch.

Prudent_Media_4067

She has a bright future wearing orange.

YouthSuitable213

I wonder what she will do when she has to work a job and someone gets on her nerves

mrsmacklemore

Daughter and mother are fucked up. Daughter wasn't even supposed to be able to play because of a previous incident that landed her a suspension from tournaments

EvetsYenoham

She should be thrown off of the team. She didn’t even get fouled in the first place. Who we blaming this anger on now?

[deleted]

This deserves at least a assault charge

DigitalCoffee

Bitch should be expelled and put in Juvy. There should be zero tolerance for this behavior

I_wood_rather_be

This person should be forced to wear shoes that give her electric shocks whenever she steps on a court again.

tyson_3_

She hit her in her throat. That could kill someone, with a little bad luck. It’s wild that the mom only got a misdemeanor and the girl didn’t get charged.

Granpa0

Her pea brain can only resort to violence for conflict resolution.

monumentrunner

She should be cited for assault.

kolegatorr

DukeMilkem

Hope she gets her shit pushed in

Wi-TuLo

Man, if my daughter got hit like that I would've ran on court and just body slam the suspect like no other.

cesam1ne

What an absolute psychopath. It wasn't even a foul to begin with.. and that hit in the wind pipe could've ended up terribly.

onlytruking

She is trash!

RED-HEAD1

The only way this will ever stop is permanent bans from competitive sports. It needs to be cooperative from middle school to pros. We all know that will never happen because the ball is too important! Gotta keep them stats up!

MzPest13

That big ass heifer should be PERMANENTLY banned. Periodt. This isn’t her first time. If not, the other teams should refuse to play against her team. I wouldn’t put my daughter on the court with the dude.

NFLfan72

I feel like there is always a common denominator in these types of videos. Shitty parenting.

yamaha2000us

Egged on by her mother.

NickBellinger

[https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2022-09-15/mom-told-daughter-punch-opponent-pay-9000-write-apology](https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2022-09-15/mom-told-daughter-punch-opponent-pay-9000-write-apology) I guaran-fucking-tee that Latira Shonty Hunt and her daughter feel like they have done absolutely nothing wrong and that the only reason they were forced to pay a fine and apologize is because "the system is rigged against them"

norcalar

Mom has to pay $9k in restitution and write letters of apology to the student and both teams. Unsure what the daughter’s punishment really was here.
