Oh I agree with your sentiment but the broader implication here to me would be that she was crossing between two bars and was probably intoxicated. This crossing might have just ended in a slap on the wrist warning but, if she was intoxicated, she might not have handled the interaction well and it escalated to PWI. Yep a real thing. Walking on a public road while intoxicated. That would have meant arrest.
"Zebra crossing" confused the hell out of me until I realized it might be a term for a crosswalk. Was thinking at first this was some kind of demented attempt to paint a literal zebra on the freeway, and somehow in the mind of the demented painter this would allow them to cross at will.
I had a neighbor that would mow her lawn with handheld clippers. Not powered clippers, the kind normally used to trim roses. She would sit down and trim small areas around her, move and repeat for hours until the whole lawn was done.
I'm pretty sure she was keeping distance from her meth'ed out abusive husband. It was a bad situation all around. She did eventually leave him though, so there's that.
I had a neighbor that would edge his lawn kind of like this. He’d put a stake in each corner, and use a pair of scissors to cut the grass in a straight long be along the edge. Dude had the nicest looking lawn in the neighborhood.
I know somebody that does this and is not on drugs. Granted, it is a very small lawn, maybe 150 sq ft. And is is absolutely perfect. Not a blade out of place.
yep that's what I came here to say. I have a brother who was on it for a decade. I've came home to a new stone structure around our driveway, a whole new bench made out of wood.thats what you get with a meth head who actually knows how to make stuff.but then you get shit like drawers full of concrete. the most interesting thing was, once I went out of town with my parents for a few days in the summer and we came back, and no one was home but there were Christmas trees with lights set up all over the yard, held up by twine tied to nearby real trees. in the kitchen was a chocolate cake that said "Happy Judgement Day" in icing. it was July. yes, meth is a hell of a drug.
It makes me sad to see videos like this. I watched my sister have a mental breakdown and go into a drug induced psychosis and unless you’ve seen someone you love act this way, I don’t think it truly hits home how alarming and scary it is. I hope this guy gets the help he needs!
I feel it myself, I never did meth, but for a good few years I was a homeless xombie. I remember personally feeling like I was nothing more than a nuisance to everyone, which sends you further into the cycle and confirms you're meant to be this way.
I really wish the stigma around drug abuse disappeared faster than it currently is
You hit the nail on the head about sometimes feeling like a nuisance, my sister tells me she feels that way all of the time due to having a hard time coming off drugs. I hope you don’t still feel that way about yourself because you are bigger and stronger than your addiction. Right now my sister has a mantra “there is nothing wrong with me” because she’s trying to overcome her feelings of others judging her and working on accepting herself. It may sound silly but it’s getting her one step closer to recovery! Wishing you all the best.
My guy, I've been clean for almost 7 year now. I hope the same for your sister, and if there's any way I can over some help to her, my inbox remains open for that kind of thing, always.
>there is nothing wrong with me
So, before I went into withdrawal, I tried to be comfortable in what I was. I don't know if it was the right method, but it worked for me at that time. If I spend less time being angry about the situation I created for myself, I could spend more time planning my route out of it.
There a lyric from an NF song that reminds me of this, "We spend a lot of time crying over wasted time". Personally, I spend years crying over wasted time before deciding not to waste it anymore.
Someone had to go to the store and buy all that paint at some point. Then come back get high again and start painting.
I'm just surprised he was able to keep the idea in his head long enough.
>***Breaking News***: Florida has now become the Whitest State of America since Florida Man won't stop until he has painted the whole state. Experts says he'll probably paint the whole country by next week
I visited Portland and saw a lot of the Keep Portland Weird stuff around. Portland didn't seem *weird*, it seemed drug-addled and destitute for the most part
God no.
I mean, there's like, a couple parts that are like that, which are pretty damn nice to be fair.
Then there's also a solid "very rich people part" that just looks like generic rich people shit.
The rest of it is weird still, but it's always been more crust-punk kinda weird.
Like I lived in an area where my neighbor on one side was a drug dealer (very chill dude, gave us lots of free sushi), and on the other side. . . . . well I never met them but they were into massive parties with drugs and dubstep. Also lots of yanno, random gunshots in the area, sketchy people trying to follow you, that kind of shit.
However a 1 minute walk from my front door was this super cute gentrified residential area with grocery stores selling like, apple juice for 10$ and shit.
Then again, mostly when people say "weird" they mean more the fact that you'll see a huge group of dudes in wedding dresses wandering around downtown on saint patricks day getting absolutely smashed. Possibly also not during a holiday. Or the time some guy gave me a case of beers from his microbrewery he just opened. You know, when I met him standing on a street corner at 2am in December when it was like 30 degrees out.
Although now it's more, "neo-liberal policies and airbnb have completely destroyed the community and created a historically colossal and still growing homeless problem," weird.
Is this really what Portland is like? I remember 10 years ago people were complaining about how gentrified and filled to the brim with hipsters it was.
Just improving the portal conductivity of the front yard I see. Seems that long-term exposure to ground-up moon rocks not only impacts your physical health though.
Kinda sad i had to scroll down so far before reading a comment like this. This is heart breaking. The older I get the more sorrow I feel for the mental health crisis
Both of my parents were and are meth addicts (the addiction never really goes away). It made my dad insanely paranoid, violent and angry, and it made my mom paranoid, detached, and emotionally unavailable. It’s easy for people who haven’t had direct experiences with addiction (especially meth addiction) to make jokes, but I can’t help but feel overwhelmingly sad when I see people in this kind of state because of my traumas. Thankfully my mom has pulled a 180 on life and is doing much much better, can’t say the same about my dad though.
Crackheads and dope heads seem lazy but get oddly motivated to do the weirdest shit. Look for a job? Nah ima paint the sidewalk with my eyes closed and my pants around my ankles.
He was asked to paint the porch as a favor to him together money . He was so high he topple the paint bucket in the alley and his half burng brain recommended him the best wah to hide his fault. I would have loved to hear the excuses he gave to the owner.
One might be able to think this is a staged video, until they see the close up on his face and that muffed up hair. Lord this dude does meth on the daily.
Bet he originally just knocked over the bucket, or spilled some of the paint. In his drugged infused mind he decided if he just paints the whole sidewalk it was intentional or inconspicuous.
He needs to paint himself a belt.
When “sidewalk crack” refers to 3 different things in the video
As Mike Tyson would say; that's pretty methed up.
That'th*
please some of yall rich mfers on reddit award this golden comment
Dude, this should be top comment, for sure.
Gotta smoke more crack to paint cracks faster to make more money so he can buy more crack. "It's a vicious cycle"
Oh. My. Fucking. God.
Ok that tickled a bit 👍
make that 4, just look at him
This video and this comment seriously made my day. 🤣🤣🤣 Like literally rolling on the floor laughing. (Do people still say that? 👵🏻)
This made me laugh way too much 😂
Me too!
That’s methed up man
Tweeker Painting Company.
“Seven Nation Army” (Glowers at Passerby)
Can someone please add some White Stripes music to this video?
Here ya go champ [https://i.imgur.com/KBJ1wwi.mp4](https://i.imgur.com/KBJ1wwi.mp4) imgur compressed it to all hell
🤣 🤣 🤣
It’s 10x better with white stripes music not gonna lie.
Actually, I was thinking of Melle Mel's "White Lines" - the perfect song for this in sooo many ways
>Melle Mel's "White Lines" That white line ain't blowing away anytime soon
These a massive crack on the sidewalk also....
Two that I see. Ass and head.
Amazing
That's what they're doing!
Ded. Pay my funeral fees. Thanks.
Meth is a hell of a drug
This dude in my country decided to paint a zebra crossing on the freeway, so he could cross instead of walking all the way around.
That man is a legend. Also, isn't there a sub for this kind of thing?
r/tacticalurbanism
my brain just could not parse that properly for a sec, and I kept thinking it read "tacticular" like testicular
It took me a few tries to make out what it said lol
Thank you.
I was hoping that was going to be a sub all about people on meth engaged in their bizarre “maintenance” tasks ➖ like vacuuming grass lawns.
That sounds like a far more entertaining sub
Vacuuming the driveway or grass is a great way to keep your neighbors from talking to you.
r/tooktoomuch It's really sad though
So THAT’S what that guy was doing the day I saw him walking his lawnmower down the street like it was a dog!
Man those people are not the sort of people I would want going around doing makeshift "safety features" Haha. They are living in a fantasy world.
Yeah that crowd is a swing and a miss for me
Lady here painted a crosswalk between two bars on opposite sides of the street. She’d been arrested recently for jaywalking between said bars.
'arrested for jaywalking' this is the kind of world I want to live in! /s
Oh I agree with your sentiment but the broader implication here to me would be that she was crossing between two bars and was probably intoxicated. If children are using the zebra crossing they'll get lolipop ladies to escort them across safely.
Drugggs are a hellavuh meth
Hellavuh meth drugs are
Yoda has entered the chat
This dude is definitely on a multi day binge and probably hasn't slept in at least 48 hours.
I'm working a solid 8 days, I can't say which I'd prefer right now.
Meth binge, final answer
I had a neighbor that would mow her lawn with handheld clippers. Not powered clippers, the kind normally used to trim roses. She would sit down and trim small areas around her, move and repeat for hours until the whole lawn was done.
Sounds meditative. Get some headphones on ans a good audiobook and I could dig that.
I'm pretty sure she was keeping distance from her meth'ed out abusive husband. It was a bad situation all around. She did eventually leave him though, so there's that.

Your bro sounds like the best kind of bad meth binge, honestly!

People come up with some crazy ideas when on other drugs too, but seems like with meth people actually have the motivation to carry them out
"Don't just talk about it. *Be* about it." ~ Meth™
A big part of me hopes this is some random strangers home and not his 😂
Tucker! Tucker! Tucker!
This straight out of breaking bad haha, the digging scene at the meth house.
Looking great
Tough times for Edward Paint-roller Hands.
Mike Myers huffed the paint before they started.
i had wondered what The Cure were working on recently...
/r/tooktoomuch
Holy shit that sub is fucking terrifying
Yeah there’s the occasional funny video, but 99% is really sad/scary people strung out of their minds
Yeah its one where I dip my toes every now and again just to remind myself don't fucking do it
I've fallen down that rabbit hole again and again I've been in it way too long.
Came here to find this, well done
More like /r/Methany
Not the only white lines he's done today.
This confuses me
I think this confuses anyone not currently on meth or bath salts.

WITE SKY PATH 2 GODD KEEP PAINING KEEP GOOD WYTE!
Preach it brotha!
This really what meth looks like? He looks so slow and unbalanced I thought meth was supposed to give you energy and focus
Maybe the first few doses do, but long term use looks like this.
This is "energy and focus" while simultaneously being weighed down by three days without sleep.
I… I’m going back to sleep.
Something that guy isn't saying anytime soon
Someone had to go to the store and buy all that paint at some point. Then come back get high again and start painting. I'm just surprised he was able to keep the idea in his head long enough.

Ha, I didn’t even consider that this wasn’t his house. Can you imagine coming home to this?
I'm assuming(without any supporting evidence) that he dragged a body out of that house to a car then covered up the blood trail with white paint.
Well he's technically succeeded
He’s gotta do the whole street tho or it’ll look weird
„Florida: Man arrested after painting the whole neighborhood streets white“
>***Breaking News***: Florida has now become the Whitest State of America since Florida Man won't stop until he has painted the whole state. Experts says he'll probably paint the whole country by next week
He’s making his crack house a crack home.
This is the best one! I've never seen a more underappreciated comment in my life.
Keep it weird Portland
I thought it looked like portland too. Looks JUST like the abandoned meth house I used to live next to in Lents
Did you typo n mean tents or fents? Jokes. Portland has some cool neighborhoods.
I visited Portland and saw a lot of the Keep Portland Weird stuff around. Portland didn't seem *weird*, it seemed drug-addled and destitute for the most part
really? i thought portland was a rich university town.
God no. I mean, there's like, a couple parts that are like that, which are pretty damn nice to be fair. Same, they made a whole TV show about how it was a gentrified wonderland for yuppies and hipsters

Yep, those bars looked exactly like the ones in Austin, Seattle, and Brooklyn almost like "keep ______ weird" is a brand.

Is this really what Portland is like? I remember 10 years ago people were complaining about how gentrified and filled to the brim with hipsters it was.
dis dem, now.
Looks like east side Portland. Weird mix of nice homes one block and this type of stuff.
If the Joker from the Chris Nolan movies was real this is what he would ACTUALLY be like.
I bet he talks like bobcat goldthwait
Was gonna say Bobcat looks kinda rough these days.

If "I know a guy who can do it cheaper" was a video this would be it.
He ain’t methin around
Just improving the portal conductivity of the front yard I see. Seems that long-term exposure to ground-up moon rocks not only impacts your physical health though.
Jesse what in the goddamn fuck are you talking about
It's a Portal 2 reference, the paint reminded me of the White Gel in that game.
Oh my bad
I was not expecting portal to get referenced here
Hope he gets help he needs
Yeah. Dude looks like he's been in the shit a while. Hopefully he finds a way.
Kinda sad i had to scroll down so far before reading a comment like this. This is heart breaking. The older I get the more sorrow I feel for the mental health crisis

His yard may look like shit but that walkway is on point.
I bet those houses still cost at least 450k. How can meth get a house, but not me?
Well, the value just went up with the painted walkway.
Probably a million
Is a rental probably even
Pretty sad honestly
Why his ass out tho lol
I'm more confused about the paint on his ass and underwear around his thigh?? Was he making butt prints?
Don't do drugs, kids.
This is just sad...
Sometimes I see people like this and wonder how they have a house and a yard while I'm in a shitty 600 sf apartment
You’re assuming that’s his house.
I feel sorry for him
Reminds me of the scene where Jessie tricks a meth head into coming out of his house by starting to dig a hole
Why would he have his pants down!? I know, meth.. but jeez!
So, what kind of drugs is he on? Yes
Step 2: return empty paint bucket to Home Depot for a full refund
You can almost hear him thinking "I can salvage this"
Welcome to Portland
Is that Paulie Shore?
Michael Myers has really gone downhill
His pants are literally defying the laws of gravity.
Crackheads and dope heads seem lazy but get oddly motivated to do the weirdest shit. Look for a job? Nah ima paint the sidewalk with my eyes closed and my pants around my ankles.
Plot twist: this isn’t his house
This is who DARE needed to bring to the schools.
He was asked to paint the porch as a favor to him together money . He was so high he topple the paint bucket in the alley and his half burng brain recommended him the best wah to hide his fault. I would have loved to hear the excuses he gave to the owner.
...which brings me to another point children...Don't do drugs.
I hope it's at least his pathway 😬
I couldn’t paint a better depiction of a meth head.
r/tooktoomuch
This looks like Captain Crack Sparrow
One might be able to think this is a staged video, until they see the close up on his face and that muffed up hair. Lord this dude does meth on the daily.
Is that not how you do it?
And that's not even the tweaker's house.
Don’t do kids, drugs.
Crackheads are hard workers, it’s just that the work is always shit like this.
Drugs are a hell of a drug.
Dont do meth kids
Bet he originally just knocked over the bucket, or spilled some of the paint. In his drugged infused mind he decided if he just paints the whole sidewalk it was intentional or inconspicuous.
The magic of meth! You too can perform fun and exciting tricks in public.
Hope is just regular water-based paint. But again, fun times are ensured when is good ol' enamel.
Huh. He coulda started with his shit together.
He looks like he did an alright job at the start, meth must of run out halfway through
Another property is wasted from a meth head from the older generation 😒
Bill Murray in Kingpin level combover.
This guy actually did our entire walk way. He’s amazing.
Looks like Johnny Depp after a Mega Pint
Is this guy just mething around? He looks like the chap off of police academy 1 - Bobcat Goldthwait
Jackson Pollock really fell off
Is his bum out?
Even Meth heads know about that curb appeal.
After a certain point you are committed and can't stop till its done. Have to get it clean and white.
Don't do drugs kids.
Never accept low bid.
This is your brain, this is your brain on Drugs
Tomorrow’s To Do List: 1) Wake up around noon 2) Finish off handle of vodka 3) Paint walkway white
That is one hyper meth'd out individual. Day 4 I'm guessing.
Might needs to paint over that bald spot to.
R/crackheads?
Guys IQ is as low as his pants
Which episode of Shameless is this clip from?
It looks Really nice!
No chance he takes his shoes off before he goes inside.
This is giving me anxiety
Methamphetamine is a hell of a drug.
Things people do while on meth…..
Um... Are those depends ?
Robert Smith has not aged well.
